  • Paradise

"We stayed at Gestalt at Steele Point this past week to celebrate my 50th birthday. I would suggest paradise is an understatement, and the better description should be UTOPIA. From the panoramic vistas from each room, the outdoor showers, the gourmet outdoor kitchen along with the close proximity to the ferry makes this villa an ideal vacation home to stay with family or friends. Irina should be proud of her property, and vacationers should feel lucky to have the opportunity to rent such a beautiful estate."

  • Two thumbs up!

"Da Blue House is a charming, impeccably clean, and well-equipped cottage in a friendly neighborhood where locals are quick to say hello and offer assistance. The location was a perfect spot for me and my college-aged daughters to explore the island. Sam and JC were easy to reach and made sure that we had everything we needed, then after our trip, returned our security deposit lighting fast. Two of the most beautiful beaches- Long Beach and Smugglers Cove- are just a few minutes' drive, and great restaurants like Cruzin, Palm's Delight, and Sugar Mill are within walking distance, with great views along the way. In fact, the sunset from Cruzin was a dream. Island driving is an adventure in itself. The crazy-steep hairpin curves on the way to Cane Garden Bay take some getting used to (beep your horn on the approach and take 'em wide). Loved the food and music at Quito's and killer BBQ at Elm's. Being the off-season, we frequently found ourselves alone or with few others on beaches and in restaurants, except at the Baths, which despite the relative crowds, is still a must-see. Also recommend sailing and snorkeling with Gary on Karalu- excellent service and lunch on board. The highlight of our trip was breakfast with Mr. Egbert Donovan, just up the street at the North Shore Shell Museum. Be sure to call or visit him first to make a reservation. Mr. Egbert served up fabulous mango, banana, and coconut pancakes, mango smoothies, and charming tales of island life, as well as a tour of the "museum". Best of all, he strummed his guitar, sang original songs, and gave us instruments to play along. Priceless. One thing to note if you're a light sleeper- roosters and light traffic may keep you awake at Da Blue House, but once you relax and get in your island groove, it's all good. Truly fantastic …we’ll be back. Thanks Sam and JC!"

  • Perfect getaway at Seven Peaks

"Following a wonderful 9 days of cruising around the spectacular islands of the BVI's our friends joined us to spend our final days at Seven Peaks in Tortola. We arrived to the very impressive driveway lined with fantastic palm trees. Sam was there to greet us as promised with an extremely warm welcome, making us all feel at home and relaxed. Sam spent quite sometime with us to show us around to familiarise us with this amazing villa. The villa provided us all with maximum comfort and facilities for everything we could possibly need. We were so at home there we only ventured out a couple of times to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and soak up the atmosphere of the village, restaurants and bars. I couldn't highlight any particular feature of the villa as it was all just perfect in every way, however, we did all love the open dining area where we would enjoy all our meals overlooking the bay, it was just lovely. It was a joy to lay the table with all the brightly coloured linen and china. We were all very impressed with the standard of cleanliness and the bedding, it makes such a difference to the overall enjoyment and comfort of your stay. We all had stunning views from our bedrooms to enjoy our first cup of tea of the day. We spent most afternoons beside the pool soaking up the sun and atmosphere of the magnificent views out across the bay. Our friends had a wonderful time snorkling around the reef just a short walk beneath the villa. perhaps Sam can convey our thanks to the owners for a very memorable holiday in Tortola, thank you. We would all love to return one day in the future. We will of course recommend Seven peaks to all our family and friends."
