  • Paradise found!

"As others have posted, the pictures don't do Casa Allamanda justice. My husband and I spent a week in the house and on the island and felt 'at home' with all the amenities provided. Nothing more relaxing than lounging in the pool or sitting on one of the many decks and watching the sunset over JVD. We would highly recommend this house and location and can't wait to plan our next trip. Freddy is awesome to work with and the communication was fantastic!"

  • Loved Summer Heights

"Fantastic stay at Summer Heights. Listing is accurate for all information. We had 12 people in our party, and the property accommodated all our needs, it was the perfect base in Tortola. We actually only had dinner out a couple nights, as the kitchen was great and it was so enjoyable to cook in and make cocktails and be able to look out at the incredible view Summer Heights offers while the kids played in the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and great for kids and adults. Great sound system with clear instructions, and computer and wi-fi. Rosalind and Barry answered all our questions prior to arriving and were a great help with island information. Dian met us at Jerry's Car Rental and guided us to the house and gave us a great orientation. Close to Nanny Cay and Road Town, but far enough away to be totally secluded. We explored many islands in the BVIs on our vacation, and at the end of each day it was great to return to Summer Heights and relax, enjoy the view of the islands (and the stars), listen to the night sounds, and totally chill and escape the rat race. We highly recommend Summer Heights!"

  • Wonderful week at Cooten House....

"My wife and I stayed at Cooten House in December for a week and loved it. The house is perfect for a couple to get away. It is secluded enough but close to Roadtown to be convenient. We used the hot tub all but one evening and it was a highlight of the house. There is a great Bose sound system which we also used a lot. Jeremy also has a phone at the house for local calls and even told us we could use it if we needed to call home. We only used it for a few local calls but nice to know it was there. The Wi-Fi was great and super reliable. The views are amazing from the house. Our favorite beach to visit was Josiah's Bay which you can see from the house. We rented 2 lounge chairs for $10, they had a bar and restaurant, and I took surf lessons which was a lot of fun. We met Jeremy at Riteway in Roadtown and he took us to the house. The last part of the road to the house is bumpy but not a big deal. I have driven in the US Virgin Islands and found the driving on Tortola very comparable. He was very helpful as was Marija before and during our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again. A couple of things that we suggested to Jeremy before we left were some updated nicer beach chairs, (the two supplied were in bad shape and very uncomfortable), a blender (we love tropical frozen drinks and missed this small feature), and a safe (we were told it was on the to do list) for passports, cash, and valuables. Bug spray is a must. Mosquitos are an ever present issue in the tropics, not just Tortola and Cooten House. Not a negative at all, just a reminder to bring it and use it and you will be fine. Overall this was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend the Cooten House!!"

  • Unbelievable!!!!

"Breathtaking views, a beautiful well-equipped home and gorgeous outdoor areas made a holiday vacation for two families a fabulous experience. I knew we would not be disappointed from the moment I made contact with Karen, the owner. Karen answered all my questions and was accommodating and gracious every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, emailing promptly the entire 6 months leading up to our departure. We have rented through VRBO on many, many occasions, and she was by far the most congenial and organized. The home is beautiful and well attended to. We fit our party of 9 with ease. Our island manager, Joss, was waiting for us at the ferry dock for our late arrival, had arranged for our rental cars to be delivered to the parking lot, let us order pizzas for our overdue dinner and even escorted us to the grocery store so that we could get to the house as soon as possible. Joss is so much fun and we were privileged that she agreed to eat with us that evening. When our car battery needed a jump (totally our fault when we didn't realize the lights were left on), she got someone to come and jump the car within the hour so that we didn't miss our daylong boat charter...she was awesome. The views are spectacular, and Karen built the home so as to take advantage of the trade winds. The breeze kept all the rooms cool at night and kept the mosquitos at bay, even with the fantastic gardens surrounding the villa. Be sure to explore all the garden sitting areas surrounding the house if you go...they are beautiful, and we were lucky to pick a few limes to add to our cocktails in the evening. The beaches on Tortola are gorgeous and the people on the island are so kind. We made friends with the owners at several restaurants and look forward to seeing them again some day. We loved Cane Garden Beach, as it was a calm beach the time of year we were there. If you go there...make sure to talk to Lion at the Glass Blowing shop...He and his coworkers make unique items from the bottles and glass retrieved from the bars and restaurants on the island. If you are looking to rent AnaCapri, don't hesitate. Karen, her staff, the villa and the views are the best!"
