"Our family of six just returned from 7 nights at The Amateras and we all are suffering with the come home grumpies. This villa meet every expectation we imagined. The views are incredible and from every window in each pavilion, you can see forever. With this view does come some stairs! Thelma took good care of us with a mid-week towel change and a quick clean up. The pool was just the right tempature and the perfect stop after a long day at the beach! Didn't get to see Elvis, but plenty of lizards kept us entertained and would defiantly come inside. Each day we went to new beaches and all of them very close. Great location for the villa. Enjoy and hope I get to return."

"Don't make the same mistake that we made by booking Sea Dream for a week. The reason is simple--a week is not enough time to enjoy all that Virgin Gorda and this villa have to offer. With only a week to enjoy the local beaches and to do some island hopping, we did not have enough time to thoroughly enjoy all the amenities right at our fingertips--the heated salt-water pool and the extensive verandas with panoramic views of Leverick Bay. Fortunately, we did have a chance to briefly enjoy the views as we ate our breakfast before heading off for some adventure. We would especially like to thank Letica who promptly responded to our requests and made our car rental arrangements before we arrrived. Although driving on Virgin Gorda was a challenge, we found that the cost of a car rental was a fraction of what we would have paid for taxi fares. Our two top recommendations--Savannah Bay and the Bitter End Yacht Club that is available by free ferry service from Gun Creek."

"We loved our second stay at Bigger Splash! This time we included the two new spouses of our children, and they also loved it. The location near the baths, combined with the 7 magnificent outdoor seating areas, make it the best ever. The pool is delightfully refreshing and nicely situated, while surrounded by boulders and blooming foliage.
The concierge, Debbie, was also extremely helpful in pre-trip information and attending to our daily needs.
We hope that someday our children bring their children to this wonderful place."

"It is pretty tough to say anymore about the Villa that hasn't already been said in other reviews. Also, as a previous review stated, on the selfish side, it would be easy not to say anything at all, in an effort to keep this bit of heaven on earth less known ... but that isn't fair to the owners. From the start and as promised, Mindy (manger/concierge of the house) was at Leverick Bay docks with cool cocktails to greet us and take us back to the villa - Mindy and Art continued to be fantastic hosts for the duration of our stay answering all questions/organizing anything we requested from a day sail to fresh lobster and the couple of small issues that did crop up, Art made sure were resolved immediately. When the group (4 couples) entered and walked around the house the first time, choosing bedrooms etc, it would fair to say my wife and I heard several times, 'the house exceeded expectations' and the bar had been set high. Yes, the pool is larger than anticipated with all 8 of us spending many hours in the pool gazing out over, arguably, one of the top 3 views of the island (my wife and I have been visiting Virgin Gorda since '91). The beach, although not private, seemed private, as we only saw one other couple strolling along the entire time we were there. But it was the little things the owners have thought of; many, many beach towels all rolled up just inside the door to the pool, along with many sets of snorkel gear; wet bar with ice machine and dishwasher, again, just inside the same door; gourmet kitchen; beautiful linens; all the various types of wine/cocktail glasses and of course the building materials used throughout the house which are luxurious yet seamlessly integrate with the surroundings. Already making plans to return March of 2016!!"
