"Island Dream is just that...a total dream! We spent two weeks in the Virgin Islands for our honeymoon. One in the USVI at The Westin doing the whole resort vacation and then ferried over to the BVI's and rented Island Dreams for a week - definitely our favorite part of the trip. The house is beautiful! More than enough room for two people and would be great for four; can't wait to go back with another couple! Everything was spotless. Mary & Rob have maximized every inch of outdoor space. Gorgeous gardens, big main deck for meals with the best view of the other islands, a smaller deck in the gardens where we sat and had many afternoon happy hours, balconies off both rooms (the views!) and THE POOL - the best part of it all! So fun having our own secluded pool as it is completely private from the street since it's surrounded by all the amazing tropical plants and flowers. And showering under the stars in the outdoor showers - what more could you ask for? Kitchen is small, but does just the trick. Well equipped with everything you'll need. (Shopped at Rosey's daily!) Air conditioning in the bedrooms works great, tons of books, beach chairs for use, directions/recommendations for the island and everything was decorated just as you'd want your island getaway to be.
The entire process was so easy from booking with Mary, to meeting Irma at the dock, helping us with our rental car and taking us to the house. Howard checked on us a couple times throughout the week. It is the perfect way to feel completely away from it all, without feeling helpless. A car is a must - while the island is very small, you'll need it to get from end-to-end and up the hills. One of our favorites things to do was drive just up the road from the house to Hog Heaven for the AMAZING view and BBQ. Savannah Bay is also just a quick drive away and is BREATHTAKING. The Baths are a must, eating + dancing the night away around the fire at CocoMaya is something I'll never forget. Watching World Cup at The Rock with all the locals was so fun (everyone is SO NICE), romantic dinner at Chez Bamboo, sunset at Top of the Baths, ferry over to Bitter End Yacht Club. The island seems so desolate, yet we found so many fun things to do...but our favorite was always coming back to Island Dream. Evening walks in the neighborhood were beautiful and there's also a pool and bocce court at the "club house" in Nail Bay which was an added bonus.
Island Dream is the definition of paradise - can't wait to return!"

"Let me begin by saying I'm a die-hard Hawaii-fan, Kauai to be precise. My friends were curious to see how On The Rocks, Virgin Gorda, would measure up to my impossible standards. Well, in four words, I was blown away. I am utterly in love with this place and all that it has to offer. I have a great deal of trouble relaxing and unwinding on vacation, but On The Rocks was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. The house is stunning without being pretentious and there is no amenity overlooked. The bedroom suites are magical. The outdoor showers are a delight. The views are out of this world and the pool is perfect. We kayaked, swam, snorkeled, hiked, ate fabulous food, got massaged, boated to neighboring islands, and generally felt like adults at summer camp. I've been fortunate enough to visit On The Rocks twice, and I will return as often and as soon as I can!"

We just returned to the cloudy Pacific Northwest after 6 days staying at Villa Chai Light. We already miss it in more than one way.
I will give my comments broken down in categories:
Owner Jacky - What a lady! One of sweetest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Her communication from first inquiry to departure was great. When we arrived she had arranged for some grocery items to be in the home and it was just as we asked. We had a brief walk thru of the property and she was on her way. She lives just up the hill.
The Villa - Perfect, well appointed, very clean, well maintained and had that perfect beach feel to it. The house is basically two living areas one upstairs and one down. The downstairs has a full kitchen, king size bed, shower, sleeper sofa, wonderful deck and great view. The same goes for upstairs with the addition of a second bedroom with a single bed. The value you get for the money makes this Villa well worth the price!
Location - North Sound / next to Leverick Marina - Great location with the marina, restaurants, shops and bars next door. We would just walk down the hill to dinner several nights and anything we needed was in the Pantry down the hill. The Villa is quite private and water front with a nice dock including a deck. The dock will accommodate a dinghy which is great for running around North Sound. The constant parade of boats is a treat to watch.
Activities: - next door is the marina, personally feel that a Dinghy rental thru B&B is in order for half of your stay. Andy Bradley next door is great to work with and the dinghy's are perfect to run around the bay on. Our favorite spot was the Sandbox across the bay. Bar, restaurant with good sandwiches and plenty of chairs on a nice private beach. There are plenty of excursions to take advantage of, but plan ahead. Jacky can make suggestions accordingly
Must visit places in North Sound: Sandbox, Saba Rock, Bitter End Yacht Club, Leverick Marina. MUST GO eat lunch at Hog Heaven. What a view. Can't describe it! This is a must.
For any questions while you are there including arranging rental cars etc you have two contacts. First is Jacky the owner and second is Chudney, who can get you anything you need on VG. He is also the one who most likely will pick you up at the ferry dock. Very punctual person based on several interactions with him and a super nice guy!
Now, stop looking, BOOK IT!"
