  • Fabulous Family Vacation!

"We just returned from a fabulous 3 weeks spent at Limeberry Villa. Our party included 5 adults and 5 children ages 9-13. The Villa provided plenty of room for all of us to gather as well as having our own space to retreat to. The location is ideal, just up the hill from our favorite beaches "Nature Boy" and Smugglers Cove. We spent most mornings at the beaches and then returned to the villa in the afternoon to cool off in the sparkling clean pool. Plenty of great restaurants nearby, our favorites were Fish and Lime, Bananakeet and D'Coal Pot. Our most memorable experience was the daysail we booked through Voyage Escapes, 3 great snorkeling stops as well as lunch on Norman Island - this is a must do! The owner, Jon, was a marvelous host and provided everything we could possibly need, he even stopped by with ribeye steaks to grill one night as well as 5 new boogie boards for the kids to use! This villa definitely met our expectations and then some, we hope to return one day!"

  • Better than the photos

"The one bad thing about Villa Towanda was that it spoiled every other location that my friends and I visited! The views from the villa are incomparable, and the vibe in the house is intimate, relaxed and comfortable. After a day at one of the beaches or out on the water, there was no other place that we wanted to be than Towanda. Period. We cooked in the open kitchen almost every night and sat on the terrace for sunset and moonrise. The view across the bay to Jost is unsettlingly beautiful. I will definitely return. There were so few people at Long Bay beach (just at the bottom of the road!) that it felt like a private beach. No kidding. If you're looking for great restaurants, this may not be the place for you. The Sugar Mill was very good for dinner, and D'Best Cup in Soper's Hole was great for breakfast. Everything else we found was mediocre, but that really didn't matter to us because, as I said, we found we were happiest cooking at home and being mesmerized by the views. The kitchen was extremely well appointed, btw. The owners and managers were extremely kind and helpful as well."

  • Beautiful Outdoor Living

"We loved our stay at the Bigger Splash The outdoor living areas are gorgeous. We especially like the top sun deck and the beautiful pool. The location is ideal, you can see the Baths from the many balconies. Many beautiful beaches a very short distance away. Spanish Town is just 5 minutes away. The bedrooms were nice in size and comfortable. The pictures truly represent the villa, unlike other rentals I have stayed at. The kitchen is well stocked, with more gadgets and cooking utensils than you need. The den is perfect - large, wide open with high cathedral ceilings. The house does need some updating. The bathrooms and showers need some sprucing up, so does the kitchen. All in all, a great house."

  • This is a dream house and location - you won't be disappointed

"My husband, son (18 yrs) and I stayed here for 6 nights. What a fantastic home. We loved the many spaces this house offered both inside and out. The ocean breezes kept it very comfortable as did the ceiling fans. We never needed the A/C. The photos accurately reflect what you'll find when you arrive. I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Sam. She made the reservation process and our stay so easy. While getting around on Tortola is a challenge, Van Dyke house is not any worse than anywhere else. THe roads are narrow, hilly and have many hair pin turns but that was part of the excitement. We did find some wonderful places to eat close by that cut the driving down a bit. (Sugar Mill, Palm's Delight, D' Coal Pot). The beach is just about at the end of the driveway and is very isolated. We loved hearing the constant sound of the waves at night. The pool is a welcome relief from the heat and the dryer was great for drying our beach towels after a day at the Beaches. I really can't recommend this house enough. We couldn't think of anything we would have needed that wasn't provided."
