  • A complete escape!

"We immediately felt welcomed by the beautiful (and very clean) accommodations and by Mobbsie! The views from the cottage are breathtaking and the environment is so relaxing and comfortable. Our favorite parts of the day were the mornings and evenings (sunsets) on the veranda. And the on-site pool is such a bonus! It was hard to leave and explore some days! It is truly a very special place; I would be more recommending if I could be!"

  • Location, location.. Beautiful beaches and view!

"This villa was great!! We stayed in the penthouse and we were pleased!! The view was amazing and the villa was clean and comfortable. The ocean breezes were consistent and use of the pool, beach chairs and restaurants at Long Bay Beach were great. We rented a jeep (highly recommend) due to the the mountainous terrain. There are so many beautiful beaches, you would be amiss to not go and explore each and every one of them. JC and Sam were amazing at helping us with all our needs and suggesting places to go and eat. They were both attentive to our needs and were always just a phone call away. We can not wait to return!!"

  • Beautiful Views, Unforgettable Honeymoon

"My husband and I honeymooned at the Cooten House for ten days, and it was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival to Tortola, we met the house manager Sayula and followed her up to the house. She showed us around, and was very helpful with recommendations and tips. As we explored the island throughout our visit, we determined that we were very centrally located and could get to either side of the island relatively easily/quickly. The views from the house were incredible. They have installed a new upgraded hot-tub, and we enjoyed it every day! Great place to relax. We ended up cooking most of our meals at the house, and it was great to have modern amenities to do so with. The only room in the house that has AC is the bedroom, so the rest of the house has the tendency to get a tad sticky, but we kept the outside doors closed and were fine. We do recommend bringing bugspray with you - at the house and at the beaches we found many more mosquitoes than we are used to and the deet bug spray was crucial. Getting up to the house can be tricky, so definitely rent a 4-wheel drive car. We did run out of water 1 day, but Sayula was very prompt in ordering more and it wasn't an issue. Lovely house, wonderful house manager, perfect spot for a honeymoon!"

  • Nit-picker

"We had a fabulous time! There are a couple of very minor flaws which I may be the only one to notice, like an inoperative bathroom window and a few fogged thermo-panes, only one of which was annoying. It is listed as limited accessibility, but I am handicapped and found NO inconvenience. Our healthy offspring thrived on the available walks and walking access to the village and other destinations. Ten mile excursions for them were a daily occurrence and thoroughly enjoyable. We never used the air-conditioning because the ventilation is remarkable. Our children, however, found the upper floors more comfortable for sleeping with it on; they are late sleepers and the island's plethora of feral chickens woke them a bit early. We ARE returning!"
