  • As near perfect as one can find!

"After a week of chartering a sailboat we were able to spend a week at this marvalous get away. The views and ambiance were spectacular. BVI Village exceeded our expectations in every way. Here we had complete privacy, indoor/outdoor living, and attentive assistance to any questions and requests we had for Burtt and Carole and Lucienne. We will be returning to this idyllic spot."

  • Great Place to Stay in Paradise

"While attempting to find an affordable place to stay on Virgin Gorda for my wife's 30th birthday I stumbled across the Boulder House and I consider myself lucky I did. I was initially somewhat reluctant because I knew that the property was shared with another house (the Cedar House owned by the same family) and didn't want to lose our privacy but I can honestly say the two houses are far enough apart that privacy is not an issue. The property is beautifully maintained and well located, with easy access to Spanish Town and the Baths (not that there is really difficult access to anything on the island). The inclusion of the truck in the rental meant we could visit a different beach every day without the added expense of a car rental or taxi. And when going to the different beaches the house's cooler and beach chairs were great. The house itself was large and the deck offered amazing views of the entire island. The fact that it is on top of a hill meant a cool breeze was always present and air conditioning was never missed. The property managers Howard and Irma were available to answer anything we needed help with and the maid Shirley kept the place spotless. In all I'd recommend the Boulder House to anyone and will probably stay there again when we go back."

  • What an adventure!

"What can I say. This was definitely an adventure. After ferry delays on St Thomas we finally make it to West End where Renata picked us up and drove us all the way across the island to meet up with Lennox in Trellis Bay. As the sun was starting to set Lennox is driving us across the channel and the boat dies. No big deal it was just the pump on the gas tank that wasn't connecting properly. So with a few stalls and about half an hour later we finally make into the boat slip. He mentioned that he will need a ride back to Trellis once he drops us off and shows us the villa. By this time it's DARK and Lennox tells my husband he can drive and he will jump on the bumper of the jeep. "just drive where I tell you to" with a few Lefts we make it to the villa. (CRAZY to have a stranger drive in the dark on small roads up steep hills with a guy on the bumper but OK) I guess that's their way of knowing you'll be fine in the daylight. So we go into the villa, very little lighting and Lennox is showing us around as we notice several spiders scurrying away. As I bite my tongue and start turning on the lights and opening doors it really wasn't getting much better. thought what did we get ourselves into. As Lennox comes to the end of showing us around he tells my husband he has to take him back to Trellis Bay. So my 12 year old daughter and I are in a strange villa as my husband is somewhere in the Sir Drake Channel in a boat we weren't sure would make it. Lennox said he would call to make sure he made it back in a 1/2 hour. Lennox calls as he said he would and still no husband. I look out and see this TINY little light. Wait about 15 more minutes and finally (with some stories) my husband returns. As we are unpacking we were trying to figure out where my 12 year old daughter is going to sleep. I didn't realize the other beds were in separate buildings. SO the three of us all slept in the one queen size bed. A little cramped but we made due. We finally got to sleep after an interesting evening. Woke up the next morning refreshed. with the view, the smell of the ocean, the BEAUTY of it all made up for feelin creeped out. Seeing the villa in the daylight was wonderful. It didn't take us long to feel comfortable. Best part of the villa is that it came with the boat. We took it out every day. Over to Trellis a couple times,Marina Cay several times for lunch, snorkeled Little Camanoe (both sides) It was really a great adventure. Just remember 3 beds - 3 buildings"

  • Great Property and Amenities

"Third trip to Camanoe and first time staying at this property. Excellent value to the trip for those enthusiastic for boating, snorkeling, and adventure seeking. We had a busy itinerary for things to do so we really didn't get a day to enjoy the house but it was a perfect location to unwind after a long day out on the boat. The inflatable is sufficient for Camanoe, Scrub, Marina Cay, and Guana but you will need to arrange an excursion for the Baths, Jost Van Dyke, or Norman. Our party rented a 19ft Trophy from TRC Boating on Scrub Island for 4 days to truly island hop, regardless of the conditions. I understand that they also offer captained day trips for those not familiar with the waters/ spots. We had lunch on Scrub and dinner at the Last Resort and Marina Cay. We were really impressed with the renovations to the Last Resort. The set up is stress free and extremely convenient for getting from the boat to the house. WIFI was great for uploading brags on social media and was a decent speed for most of the week. All and all, this is a great property to rent for adventure seekers or for those just looking to escape."
