"This house is a show home with a million dollar view. First off the location is perfect if you like to have some privacy with only a few houses around you for safety. Let's start off with the pool. The pool is much larger than the picture shows it to be. Most pools are dipping pools but this one you can actually use to do laps. The pictures do not do it justice as you can not see the length of this pool from the pictures. It is situated on the west side which means that when it comes to watching the sunset go down in the infinity pool it is warm since the sun has been able to warm it up for most of the day. Then you have the view. It looks out to the Dog Islands and Tortola and also to the clear Ocean. This allowed us to see the Green Flash of the sun on a clear sunny day sunset which was taught to us by some friends we met on the island. The bay in front of the house is Nail Bay and to the right is Long Bay and is great for snorkeling and is one of the best on the island. The waters are fairly calm and was able to take the Kayak out fairly far and also you can snorkel way out also. I had a car and basically went around the whole island at least twice and visited all the beaches and I have to say that the owner of this house knew what he was doing when he picked this location. This bay along with Mahoe bay is probably the two best beaches on the island in my opinion and and Mahoe bay is only a couple of minutes drive. The interior of this house is show home quality and is immaculate with all the amenities. The home owner has really gone all out to provide a top notch house."Guest: Dan Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 1, 2014View listing
"Of all the places I've been in my well traveled life, I can honestly say that this is the only place I actually dream about. (That's gotta tell you something right there.) I absolutely love this place. And, I love Eva, too. She's definitely a big part of this place and your experience. (I can hear her laugh as I write this. She's got a genuine laugh that you won't soon forget.) Also, in my opinion, it's the best value you will find, anywhere. (I've ben staying there for around twenty years. I even got married there!) You'll come back home raving about how much you enjoyed yourself and how you can't wait to go back as soon as possible. I say this, truthfully, and I live in a beautiful home in Kona, Hawaii!"Guest: Mal Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 14, 2014View listing
"My friends and I have stayed at this home a few times over the last 5 years. The family continues to do improvements which keeps us coming back. There is now a lovely covered porch with comfortable furniture to sit with a good book, cup of coffee and watch the boats go by below. The kitchen is equipped to cook meals so there is no need to go out. It is off the beaten path which we like - quiet and makes us feel like we are away from it all. Foxy's Taboo is great if you do want to eat out or have a bar experience. There are lots of places to visit in Great Harbor and White Bay but you'll need a taxi or rental car to get there. It is a hike down to the beach so you need to be prepared with good shoes but the beach is quiet and has nice sand."Guest: Bean Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: April 6, 2014View listing
