  • Romantic Pink House

"After you have snorkeled your way down to the point and seen sea turtles, rays, and fish galore it is nice to step onto the beach, fall into a lounge chair and sip your favorite beverage while in the shade of palm trees. The Pink House sits 5 steps above the beach with a wrap around porch that overlooks Sir Francis Drake Passage and many sailboats anchored at Cooper Island. You are practically part of the beach with double doors that let you see the ocean from your bed and windows throughout that let the trade winds cool the room. The covered porch is a delight to sit on and watch the boats and water traffic. An outdoor shower helps complete the beach living experience. (There is an indoor shower also.) The interior of the cottage is an "L" shaped room with a queen bed straight in the doors and a kitchen to the left. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals with a propane stove and refrigerator. A small table to eat at is present, but we ate on the porch consistently. We had the house provisioned by an outfitter for the durable goods and shopped for fresh items in Road Town before taking the boat over. We survived in the evening with candle light, although the 12V electrical system powered the fan and LED lights without a problem. We charged phones, computers, portable speakers, etc. during the day and it worked fine. The owners were very responsive and helpful in the setup for the trip. On island they have a caretaker that will help with moving in and picking up extra supplies if you need them."

  • wonderful home

"our stay at tamarind villa was absolutely wonderful. when we arrived, tiina was at the airport to greet us and take us by the store to get supplies. she then took us on to the house and gave us the tour. she was not intrusive at all which we greatly appreciated and she answered the phone immediately and gave great advice when we called her. we have traveled to many islands over the last 15 years and this is the only house that we have stayed in that truly was cooled by the trade winds! I am an A/C gal, and I never once turned it on at tamarind villa. those who know me, know that is saying a lot. my sister and I truly mourned the loss of the feel and sound of that glorious breeze blowing through our rooms at night! the house was also one of the most well stocked houses we have stayed in during our travels. the owners have taken great care to make sure you have what you need for beach time, pool time, and so on. the views of leverick bay from the house are just beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sail boats and yachts come in and out of the bay each morning and evening. it was also so fun that we could hear and enjoy the music and fun going on down at jumbies some nights. we went down to jumbies one evening and it happened that the travel channel was there filming a show about Michael beans the singing pirate. what unexpected fun for us!! we also loved watching the beautiful hummingbirds, bananaquits and the pearly-eyed thrashers that stayed around the house and pool. we were amazed when we put out sugar water as suggested by the owners. the bananaquits just flocked to it. so fun to watch and to video! this was our second visit to beautiful virgin gorda and I don't know if we will get back there again as we have so much more to see and explore, but if we were to go back...we would definitely stay at tamarind villa. thank you so much for the use of your wonderful home! don, tammy and dee"

  • Amazing Ana Capri

"My family spent a wonderful week at Ana Capri. The house was amazing and we enjoyed every inch of it....the infinity pool, the covered porches, the patio and beautiful landscaping. We loved exploring Josiahs bay nearby but it was hard to leave Ana Capri and the view of the surrounding islands. We will be back!"
