  • Luxurious Villa with Stunning Ocean Views

"My wife and I recently stayed at this magnificent home for our 20th Anniversary and we had a lovely time. The elegant villa is located at the West End of Tortola on the exclusive Steele Point Estate peninsula. The home offers pure luxury and outstanding comfort with everything you need and more. The villa also offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the nearby islands of Little Thach, Thach, Frenchman’s Cay, St. John and St. Thomas. You can enjoy amazing sunset over St. Thomas from the gorgeous terrace, and views of Jost Van Dyke Island from the north garden. The interiors are mingled with the outdoors through a wide opening. Besides, each master bedroom has a large two-fold glass door that allows spectacular views from your own bed. The showers are partially open to the environment for very private views and the fresh breeze. The place is very safe and secluded for added privacy, yet you feel accompanied by the many passing or nearby anchored boats that transit through the peninsula and Little Thatch Island. The home, as well as, linens and towels are immaculate. The only things in need of some care are the sofas on the living room. You get daily housekeeping service from Ira, a charming lady that will greet you and show you around upon arrival. Ira does a nice job and will try her best to come to the house at a reasonable and convenient time for you. Ashis is the really sweet man who takes care of the manicured gardens and the pool. He would announce himself before starting any work. We never felt that our privacy was invaded whatsoever. Both of them are very polite and do a great job in keeping this place shining. Mrs. Irina, the owner, is very gracious and provides very useful information to her guests. She called us upon arrival to make sure everything was going well. As far as location, there are a few beaches, restaurants, the Soper’s Hole Marina, a Spa, groceries and shops nearby. However, please keep in mind that you will need a 4x4 to move around as the short road to get to the house is a narrow dirt road. It is about a 2 minute drive to the paved road. Smuggler’s Cove beach is another 5 minutes up the dirt road. We definitely recommend renting from Dede’s car rental. They deliver the car to the port and have great service. I had a flat tire and they came and fixed it for free while we were at Jost Van Dyke and had the car ready when we got back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay would definitely love to be back in the future."

  • Sweet Retreat

"This was my 4th visit to Cane Garden Bay, and my first time staying at Cane Garden Bay Cottages. Each of my visits has been at the end of a 7-10 day sailboat charter, so I am looking to fully relax and be gentle to myself, before my return to reality. I spent 3 nights in Cottage 4. I had seen the cottages on a previous visit, and they looked inviting. The description on their website was apt, and my expectations were not disappointed. Reserving the place with Samantha was straight forward, and well managed, and the place was well ready upon my arrival. The cottage was welcoming, bright and airy. It had all the amenities I required, with a tidy kitchen for meal preparation, (though I ate out for most meals), a cold fridge for drinks, and a comfortable bed and bathroom. The overhead fans and large screened windows provided ample breezes for escaping the heat of the day - not that I really wanted to. Nestled in the edge of a jungle-like grove, surrounded by a large, well manicured yard, the cottage was a sweet retreat from the "hustle and bustle" of the main street and beach. The beach, restaurants and bars were easy steps away. I could watch the sunset from my front step, through the palm trees, enjoying a cocktail. Of course the ubiquitous roosters were my alarm clock, sounding off perhaps a bit earlier than I had wished for. I thoroughly enjoyed my short visit and would return for an extended stay. I have no problem being entertained while passing time in Cane Garden Bay, and could easily make Cottage 4 my home for a while."

  • Managers couldn't be nicer

"This a very artistic little property. It is right on the beach, the rocky part between Sebastian's main units and their newer units. It was easy to walk down to Apple Bay or Long Bay for beach or food. There was someone on sight that was so helpful and kind, they were very responsive to restocking missing supplies. The place had lots of cute little touches and you could tell that someone had really tried to provide all the little 'things' one ends up needing. There were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was very efficient given it's tiny size. We enjoyed sleeping to the sounds of surf every evening. I would not recommend it for families, or even romantic couples. It was a great surf shack, a place to crash your head at night after being out all day, but the downs were that is was quite dirty, most of the furniture was broken and in need of repair, and very rustic. I don't think it is worth the price we paid."

  • PERFECTION!

"Island Dream is just that...a total dream! We spent two weeks in the Virgin Islands for our honeymoon. One in the USVI at The Westin doing the whole resort vacation and then ferried over to the BVI's and rented Island Dreams for a week - definitely our favorite part of the trip. The house is beautiful! More than enough room for two people and would be great for four; can't wait to go back with another couple! Everything was spotless. Mary & Rob have maximized every inch of outdoor space. Gorgeous gardens, big main deck for meals with the best view of the other islands, a smaller deck in the gardens where we sat and had many afternoon happy hours, balconies off both rooms (the views!) and THE POOL - the best part of it all! So fun having our own secluded pool as it is completely private from the street since it's surrounded by all the amazing tropical plants and flowers. And showering under the stars in the outdoor showers - what more could you ask for? Kitchen is small, but does just the trick. Well equipped with everything you'll need. (Shopped at Rosey's daily!) Air conditioning in the bedrooms works great, tons of books, beach chairs for use, directions/recommendations for the island and everything was decorated just as you'd want your island getaway to be. The entire process was so easy from booking with Mary, to meeting Irma at the dock, helping us with our rental car and taking us to the house. Howard checked on us a couple times throughout the week. It is the perfect way to feel completely away from it all, without feeling helpless. A car is a must - while the island is very small, you'll need it to get from end-to-end and up the hills. One of our favorites things to do was drive just up the road from the house to Hog Heaven for the AMAZING view and BBQ. Savannah Bay is also just a quick drive away and is BREATHTAKING. The Baths are a must, eating + dancing the night away around the fire at CocoMaya is something I'll never forget. Watching World Cup at The Rock with all the locals was so fun (everyone is SO NICE), romantic dinner at Chez Bamboo, sunset at Top of the Baths, ferry over to Bitter End Yacht Club. The island seems so desolate, yet we found so many fun things to do...but our favorite was always coming back to Island Dream. Evening walks in the neighborhood were beautiful and there's also a pool and bocce court at the "club house" in Nail Bay which was an added bonus. Island Dream is the definition of paradise - can't wait to return!"
