  • Brewers Bay Beauty

"Perched above Brewers Bay, Tortola, Casa Allamanda Villa will not disappoint. John (Freddy) really made the run up to our trip very easy, and was always on the other end with a quick response whenever we had questions. John (Freddy) and Susan have obviously put so much of themselves into their home. When we first arrived, we had a sense that WE were home, not simply checking into a rental house. The place is beautifully decorated, nicely landscaped, and it comes with an amazing view of the turquoise waters of Brewers Bay with Jost van Dyke off in the distance. Pictures are nice, but to be there and take it all in was spectacular. The kitchen is great and had every tool we needed, including a dishwasher, which was nice. There's a huge shower in the bathroom, but we never used it because we preferred the outdoor shower...Not to worry, there is plenty of privacy. And, that goes for the pool, too...what a wonderful way to cool off in the middle of reading a book or just taking it all in. We loved the Satellite Radio, which plays indoors and out. There are a couple of Big Screen TVs, but we never turned them on. The WiFi is very reliable. The bedrooms are comfortable and have ceiling fans, which are also throughout the home. We slept in the back bedroom in the king bed which has an air conditioner, but we didn't use it until our last night after the temperature soared to the lower 90s during the day. With the screened windows open and the fan on, we were very comfortable. Even with the roosters off in the distance and the occasional bark of a dog down the hill, the "sounds of the Caribbean" carried us off to sleep. We ate alfresco on the deck for all meals at home. Dinner at sunset was absolutely amazing. There is not much more to say other than this...If you're looking to try something other than a resort for your stay in the BVI, think about renting this home...Casa Allamanda Villa. You will not be disappointed. I have a sneaking suspicion we will be back!"

  • Another perfect stay

"This was my 2nd visit to the Magic Castle and it was just like the first visit....Perfect. The location is beautiful overlooking Little Bay, very private and the house is VERY well equiped with everything you would need from bathroom essentials to kitchen applicances, spices, utensils, beach towels, cooler, snorkel equipment and more. We found ourselves enjoying our evening meals overlooking the caribbean and then relaxing in the hot tub along with a beautiful nights sleep. The hillside location of this home provides constant tradewinds. Eva is available should you have any questions, she is a very gracious host who holds a special place in our hearts. We have already booked our next vacation to return. This home has something very special about it, the name says it all. Truly Magical!!"

  • Happy reviewer

"We loved everything about Prettyview Villa. The views were indeed beautiful and the sound of the ocean waves was very peaceful. We rented a car from Dedee's and went everywhere on the island. We ate out some nights but we did cook at the house and loved that too. It was a great advantage for us to have the out door kitchen, ice chest, chairs and etc. The outdoor shower was my husbands favorite thing - in fact on the flight home he said he was going to put one in for us here at the river. Your information on the day trips and restaurants was very helpful. I think we did everything on the list. We took ferry trips to Josh Van Dyke, Peter Island and Marina Cay. We did take a snorkel trip to Norman Island and did some snorkeling on the beaches around Tortola. The water was a little rough on some days but others was perfect. Prettyview was everything you stated and more, we have friends thinking of renting from you after they saw our pictures. Thank you so much for your home and your help."

  • Wonderful home!

"We visited Tortola for one week, with two couples - it was wonderful having the two rooms on the main floor, seperated by a kitchen and living room. The views are spectacular. We spent the majority of our time on the deck, overlooking Smugglers Cove & Long Bay. We LOVED Smugglers cove & spent three of our "beach" days there. My husband saw everything while snorkeling, including a six foot nurse shark! The waters are calm and there are very few people there. Long Bay is beautiful to walk, but too rocky and big waves. I truly fell in love with this wonderful island. Place to recommed for food - Lime N' the Fish by the marina, D'best cup for breakfast, & D'Coal pot. One day we drove up to beef island and took the free ferry to Scrub island where we had a great lunch - I recommend. Also, the grocery store in the Soper's Hole Marina is great and has everything you need. We had the home provisioned ahead of time & that was fantastic. We can not wait to return to Tortola. Thank you, Leanne, for a wonderful stay and being so helpful."
