"This house is a show home with a million dollar view. First off the location is perfect if you like to have some privacy with only a few houses around you for safety. Let's start off with the pool. The pool is much larger than the picture shows it to be. Most pools are dipping pools but this one you can actually use to do laps. The pictures do not do it justice as you can not see the length of this pool from the pictures. It is situated on the west side which means that when it comes to watching the sunset go down in the infinity pool it is warm since the sun has been able to warm it up for most of the day. Then you have the view. It looks out to the Dog Islands and Tortola and also to the clear Ocean. This allowed us to see the Green Flash of the sun on a clear sunny day sunset which was taught to us by some friends we met on the island. The bay in front of the house is Nail Bay and to the right is Long Bay and is great for snorkeling and is one of the best on the island. The waters are fairly calm and was able to take the Kayak out fairly far and also you can snorkel way out also. I had a car and basically went around the whole island at least twice and visited all the beaches and I have to say that the owner of this house knew what he was doing when he picked this location. This bay along with Mahoe bay is probably the two best beaches on the island in my opinion and and Mahoe bay is only a couple of minutes drive. The interior of this house is show home quality and is immaculate with all the amenities. The home owner has really gone all out to provide a top notch house."Guest: Dan Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 1, 2014View listing
"Breathtaking is the word I'll use to describe Villa Margarita! The love behind the building of this home to make it the perfect spot for you to enjoy your friends and family. Our family just came back from Paradise is what we are telling everyone. Just imagine waking up to the most breath taking view and going to bed just after an amazing display of every color imaginable as the sun is setting over the mountains. It is all for you to enjoy if you come to Villa Margarita. Tom, Cindy and their daughter made us feel welcomed and looked after any need we had and more. We came to Scuba Dive, but what an added bonus to have such a beautiful home to come back to. This home is supplied with everything you would need and with so many added extra's."Guest: SCUBA Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"Everything was amazing! Jon met us at the ferry docks to escort us up to the house and the first impression was stunning. All open air courtyard and kitchen and eating areas adjacent to the refreshing swimming pool. The refrigerator was stocked when we arrived with anything we could have needed - fresh fruit, bread, eggs, milk, juices and pops, bottled water, pancake mix, etc. The house was perfect for four adults and two children, one of them a 6 month old. Jon went out of his way to make sure the baby was comfortable with a cute crib in our room, a high chair, and pack and play, toys and even provided diapers and juice for the baby! Walking distance to Smugglers Cove and Long Bay (as long as you can handle hills :) ) and the beaches were beautiful and quiet. My family and I had a fantastic time, I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. We even met someone at the beach and brought them back to show the house as they were interested in coming back this winter with their children. Highly recommended!"Guest: Mackel77 Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 28, 2014View listing
"We had an absolutely fabulous time at Amateras and totally enjoyed Virgin Gorda. The house was a dream and everywhere we went the islanders were kind and accommodating - including day trips to Little Dix's, BitterEnd, Biras Creek and Top of the Baths. The days flew by and before we knew it the week was up - but what a good feeling to come home and be dreaming about Amateras and the beaches in Virgin Gorda - a memory that immediately brings a smile, a feel of warmth and a deep sense of satisfaction. Thank you for sharing Amateras with us and for the great introduction to VG and the BVIs."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 27, 2014View listing
