"This was my 4th visit to Cane Garden Bay, and my first time staying at Cane Garden Bay Cottages. Each of my visits has been at the end of a 7-10 day sailboat charter, so I am looking to fully relax and be gentle to myself, before my return to reality. I spent 3 nights in Cottage 4. I had seen the cottages on a previous visit, and they looked inviting. The description on their website was apt, and my expectations were not disappointed. Reserving the place with Samantha was straight forward, and well managed, and the place was well ready upon my arrival. The cottage was welcoming, bright and airy. It had all the amenities I required, with a tidy kitchen for meal preparation, (though I ate out for most meals), a cold fridge for drinks, and a comfortable bed and bathroom. The overhead fans and large screened windows provided ample breezes for escaping the heat of the day - not that I really wanted to. Nestled in the edge of a jungle-like grove, surrounded by a large, well manicured yard, the cottage was a sweet retreat from the "hustle and bustle" of the main street and beach. The beach, restaurants and bars were easy steps away. I could watch the sunset from my front step, through the palm trees, enjoying a cocktail. Of course the ubiquitous roosters were my alarm clock, sounding off perhaps a bit earlier than I had wished for. I thoroughly enjoyed my short visit and would return for an extended stay. I have no problem being entertained while passing time in Cane Garden Bay, and could easily make Cottage 4 my home for a while."Guest: Tim Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 6, 2014View listing
"Our family of eight were blessed with the opportunity to be “all together” in December 2013 at the secluded & private AnaCapri Estate which overlooks... from on high, one of the most gorgeous views on Planet Earth. The amenities were endless and this elegant home was stunning. From the glistening infinity pool to the luxury of a massive and well-endowed kitchen, entertainment & communal area… to the privacy of four private bedrooms plus a walk-out suite, the entire facility was spotlessly clean & superb in every possible way! We traveled down the mountain to town and to some of the finest beaches we have ever seen. The care and attention to the manicured grounds with papaya & banana trees...the tiled pathways to walk, a hidden hammock and natural settings was inspiring and breathtaking! I can’t forget the garden…with its available fresh basil, oregano and thyme that boosted our culinary experience. The Island of Tortola is magnificent and the AnaCapri Estate is close enough to the airport for convenience but all you see fly by from both above and below the substantial deck were the huge pelicans that simply drift past on updrafts of cool breeze from the ocean below. The Island we learned is susceptible to electrical blackouts from time to time but we were so impressed when one occurred and a generator somewhere off in the distance quietly and automatically switched on and we never missed a song on the music system...the owners have thought of everything. The AnaCapri Estate comes highly recommended by every member of our family and we will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and to return again in the future. The pictures we have taken there will be shared for generations!"Guest: Paul C Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 24, 2014View listing
"This villa was the nicest place that we ever stayed! The view was spectacular from almost any room in the house. The wrap around patio was awesome. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. It was well stocked and everything was in great working order. It was very nicely decorated. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries. Tiina, the property manager, was extremely helpful to us upon arrival. I would recommend this villa to everyone."Guest: Cindy O. "We stayed at Coconut Grove with four other couples. It was great to have a king size bed, private bath and deck with every room. There is a place for whatever one desires, sun, shade, pool, large living room, etc. We were in the BVI for a wedding and had an open house for 45 guests. There was plenty of room for a gathering of this many people. Even during the ten minute rain shower there was room in the kitchen and around the covered decks. The property was well maintained and included maid service on the week days. Many of our group really appreciated the laundry facilities on site so they were able to pack lighter and return home with clean clothes in the suitcase. It was really nice to have a grocery store and restaurant within a couple of blocks. We travelled around the island quite a bit and it was very easy to arrange a taxi. Tiina was very helpful. She met us at the dock to pick up our luggage and also delivered our luggage back to the dock at the end of the week. Tiina helped us get ahold of fresh Anegada lobster to broil on the grill one night. It was fantastic. There was no utensil, dish or pot that was missing from the kitchen. We have been to the BVI several times before on sail boats but all of the space and luxury of Coconut Grove might entice us to stay on land again next time!"Guest: Captain Dave Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 22, 2014View listing
