  • All true

"All of the praise written by others is absolutely correct. Known as "Calypso," this spot is is absolutely fabulous. My wife and I enjoy cooking and think our kitchen at home is well equipped but this kitchen has even better implements. We were here late in the season but there was no indication of any wear or tear on the cottage. OK, VG is pretty much a third world country as it relates to roads, but everyone has been friendly and kind."

  • This is a dream house and location - you won't be disappointed

"My husband, son (18 yrs) and I stayed here for 6 nights. What a fantastic home. We loved the many spaces this house offered both inside and out. The ocean breezes kept it very comfortable as did the ceiling fans. We never needed the A/C. The photos accurately reflect what you'll find when you arrive. I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Sam. She made the reservation process and our stay so easy. While getting around on Tortola is a challenge, Van Dyke house is not any worse than anywhere else. THe roads are narrow, hilly and have many hair pin turns but that was part of the excitement. We did find some wonderful places to eat close by that cut the driving down a bit. (Sugar Mill, Palm's Delight, D' Coal Pot). The beach is just about at the end of the driveway and is very isolated. We loved hearing the constant sound of the waves at night. The pool is a welcome relief from the heat and the dryer was great for drying our beach towels after a day at the Beaches. I really can't recommend this house enough. We couldn't think of anything we would have needed that wasn't provided."

  • There are no words...

"I feel that the English language is failing me as I try to describe the perfection of Karensa. Me and my husband have been to many gorgeous places in this world, and this tops them all. The pictures are amazing and still don't do this place any justice. The only problem with Karensa is the depression you feel when it is time to leave. Ben was one of the most gracious, accommodating hosts we have ever had. There was even a chilled bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for us upon our arrival. Do yourself a favor...please quit looking at other places available for rent on Tortola right now and book Karensa. You won't be sorry. PS...rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The road to Karensa is not for the faint of heart, which makes it even more fun."

  • Wonderful Vacation Villa!

"Our time in Villa Sirenetta could not have been more perfect. The Villa is beautiful and Leanne was so very wonderful to work with on scheduling our get away to Tortola. In fact, we had to delay our arrival date due to the death do my husband's best friend and Leanne was so understanding and cooperative. She was also so helpful in getting our car rental and other details handled before our arrival. She was just the greatest! Sylvia and Samuel were also so sweet and helpful. Sylvia met us at the home at our arrival and reviewed all of the details of the Villa. And boy, was she thorough! She answered every question we could have possibly asked BEFORE we could ask it. And, the Villa itself was simply perfect. Obviously, we loved the fact that it had a/c throughout and the fantastic pool, but we also loved the fact that we wanted for nothing in this Villa. It had everything....it was beautifully, spaciously designed; beautifully decorated with every amenity one could need; and had a great view of the lake as well as the beautiful caribbean waters beyond. Needless to say, our stay at Villa Sirenetta was perfect from start to finish. We would highly recommend this Villa experience to others looking for a wonderful stay on Tortola."
