  • Wedding in Paradise!!!

"We were 13 family members and we rented three houses in the island. My fiance, our little 8 month old baby, and I stayed in the Hawksbill's house. It's the perfect house for a couple including a baby. They have a crib available. I have no words to describe the beauty of this place! Wow! We arrived in the evening. When I woke up in the morning, the place was simply breathtaking. The vibrant colors of the native flowers and trees, the white sand, the blue color of the ocean....My fiance and I knew exactly where we were going to exchange vows! It was going to be right in front of the Hawksbill's house .. on the beach. My brother walked me down to the beach from the house. I have the most beautiful memories from this place now and this place will hold a special place in my heart! Thank you Karen for working with us to accommodate us and make available both of your houses. You have a special home! The secluded beach where we snorkeled was wonderful. Beautiful coral reefs, colorful fish...and we saw a nurse shark a couple of feet long :D! The island has so many caves and trails to explore too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is trying to get away from noise, stress...and enjoy their family...spend some quality time in paradise! We used the Brac Reef resort for our reception and the food and cake was exceptional. The people are so friendly and nice! It was better than I imagined and we are certainly going back again! I am hoping to meet you soon Karen."

  • Great location, snorkel right off the dock!

"My family of four stayed there for a week and had a great time. The house has two bedrooms and one bath that has access to both rooms. The deck was great for watching the sunset every evening. We liked the hammocks for a afternoon nap. Great DVD selection! I liked that the house did not have regular tv. It gave our family time to connect, card games and movies! Kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a good meal. We snorkeled right off the dock and saw many interesting fish, a sting ray and the gunard! Glenn met us at the airport and lead us to the house. The housebook gives you all the information you need for your stay. They have provided kayak with lifejackets, snorkel gear if you don't want to take your own, a cooler, beachbag, beach towels. Fully equipped and I would recommend! I almost don't want to talk about our great time because I don't want the Brac to change. Everyone is so nice and laid back and no a tourist location!! You must try Pioneer Bakery for their bullas and cinnamon rolls!!!!!"

  • Wonderful relaxing vacation

"We had a fantastic time at Minne's. I could not think of a more ideal place to relax and get away from it all. My boyfriend and I traveled to Cayman Brac looking for a place just hang out at the beach and get away from the Philadelphia winter. We spent most of the time at the house. Our days consisted of making coffee and sitting out on the porch, lounging on your own private beach, kayaking and snorkleing, reading in the hammocks, grilling dinner and then having cocktails while watching the sunset. The house has everything you could need from all the possible cooking supplies to shampoo and conditioner. The bed is incredibly comfortable and from your bed you can see/hear the ocean. Minnie was very responsive to all my questions and she arranged to have a rental car pick us up at the airport. When we arrived, she had a book detailing the best grocery store, restaurants, and hikes. Ultimately, I would recommend this house for someone who is looking to relax in the Caribbean off the beaten path and wants to stay in a beautiful place who doesn't need someone to create towel animals on their bed every night. We only briefly interacted with Minnie but she is a doll. ."

  • Lankford house is tops for the Brac

"The Lankford House has the best location on the island. The Water is easy to get into and not too windy. This part of the island is very quiet. The house was spotless clean and very well appointed. Most houses on the Brac do not have Air condition but the Lankford house does and you will appreciate it. The outside shower is absolutely fabulous. WI FI is fast and reliable. If your coming to the Brac you want to stay at the Lankford House."

Cayman Brac Resorts Offer Access to an Underwater Heaven

The Caymans are widely hailed as one of the world’s top dive sites. The 100-foot plus visibility, warm ocean temperatures and magnificent coral reefs are just a few of the attractions. The rich marine life, impressive walls and wrecks scattered in the shallows complete the perfect dive destination. Here, the diving is not limited by the number of sites; rather it’s only the need to re-oxygenate your body that will keep you out of the water. You can also take the opportunity to advance your diving certification by doing specialty dive courses with one of the local dive schools during your stay. The wreck of a Cuban naval frigate was sunk off the north west coast is 1996 and is already an impressive artificial reef.

For those not comfortable with donning scuba gear, snorkeling offers a great alternative. Be sure to lather up with loads of sunscreen as once you’re in the water, you’re likely to stay there for hours on end. Brightly colored corals and millions of reef fish swirl around you in a magical dance.

The Caymans are also known as world-class sport fishing islands. Charters that take you out to the deep blue waters can easily be arranged from the marinas on Cayman Brac. Visitors are asked to respect the marine park restrictions and to not waste marine resources. Certain areas on the island are protected and charters will generally take you far away from these areas. However, if you are fishing on your own or from the shore, be sure to familiarize yourself with the marine park boundaries and regulations.
