  • Great Family Oriented Beach Front Villa!

"My family and I recently traveled to Grand Cayman and had the pleasure of staying at Conquered Fame on Rum Point. If you've been to Grand Cayman before but never spent time on Rum Point, it is an absolute must! Away from the hustle of 7-mile beach, it is super laid back and has far superior snorkeling right off the beach. We had 7 adults traveling along with my 2-1/2 yr old son. Conquered Fame could not have been better suited to the group of us. Short of an IPOD dock, the house has all of the amenities that we needed for a relaxing beach getaway, including a washer/dryer. The beautifully landscaped entry to the house is so welcoming after a 7 hour trip from New York with a toddler. The entire north wall is glass so has excellent exposure and views of the sunrise each morning. The house is on the beach, and, while it can be pretty windy on the north side, is excellent for swimming. The wind actually makes the sun a little more bearable midday letting us lay out or play our own version of beach bocce (with coconuts). The barrier reef is about 100 yards off the beach and is phenomenal for snorkeling. We were able to see all sorts of fish, lobsters, rays and even a sea turtle right off the house beach! The restaurants in the area, are all true to island form, serving great seafood including conch in all forms (the lionfish ceviche at Tukka on the east end is incredible!). Rum point does a BBQ every Tuesday that should not be missed as well. All of the water related activities have departures directly from Rum Point, which, being walking distance from Conquered Fame, was extremely convenient. We did the bio luminescence kayak tour from Kaibo yacht club right up the road which was absolutely amazing and a must do! TJ and Therese have such a fantastic home in Grand Cayman. I can't picture staying anywhere else on any future visits to the island. Thank you both for facilitating a fantastic vacation for all of us. Best, Jon and family."

  • Great Relaxation

"We spent a wonderful relaxing week. We found it clean, a very functional kitchen, with comfortable furniture. Pictures don't do it justice, very roomy. Already making plans to return!"

  • R & B

"The condo and location were excellent. We enjoyed Breakfast with the Stingrays through Red Sail Sports. Stingrays were amazing and snorkeling and sailing back were great! Walking on Seven Mile Beach was beautiful. Drove to Rum Point and Starfish Point to see red starfish. Guys enjoyed Cayman Auto Museum. Had wonderful food and drink at LaDolceVita, Guy Harveys, Cimboco, Chicken Chicken, XQs and the barbeque ribs and chicken at Billy Bones. Enjoyed meeting many nice people on the condo beach and at the hot tub. We would highly recommend this condo."

  • Wow

"This was a great place to stay. It was clean, tastefully furnished, and well appointed. My desription would be casually elegant. The layout gives muliple couples as much privacy as you need as all the bedroom suites have full baths. Two of the suites have their own entrance and private balcony. The master suite had double vanities, a huge shower with two glass walls and its own balcony. The kitchen was fantastic. There really is everything there to create your own gourmet meals. The pool was sparkling clean. Two covered patios areas. One for al fresco dining and the other for lounging. The caretake addressed two small issues with speed and thoroughness. The pool table was a great idea to fill up time (usually husbands waiting for wives) We felt safe and secure. It was easy to get to but far enough away from casual traffic. The view of the ocean is unbelievable. When the surf is high the waves break on the rocks and spray way in to the air. A beautiful sight. Although there is no access to the ocean here a little beach a short drive or walk (4/10 of a mile) has it's own jetty where you can swim or snorkel in calm waters. We saw many fish and a stingray there. Outside the jetty the sealife is a little more dramatic but the current is strong so only a strong swimmer should adventure there. 10 minutes west to Savannah for groceries and supplies and 1 minutes east to Boddentown for restaurants (Try the Grape Tree Cafe) 20 - 25 minutes to the airport. A few more minutes to Georgetown and 7 mile beach. Close enough for all the activities and dining there but far enough for peace and tranquility."
