"I stayed at The Retreat for a week with a group of friends, and I have to say, everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The accommodations are clean and homey, with views of the beach from the patio. But why sit inside and look at the beach when you can slip on your suit, grab a book and lay on the beach instead! Crystal clear waters, a warm tropical breeze and a tranquil retreat, this is the place to completely relax. Never boring, but not your typical "touristy" location, we were able to enjoy all the island has to offer, without the hustle and bustle of Georgetown and 7 Mile Beach - we felt more like locals than visitors! Rum Point recreation area is just steps from The Retreat, and had just what you needed if you were craving more adventure- from volleyball, to outdoor lunches, drinks on the beach and a great gift shop. Sunsets each night were incredible. Snorkeling was fantastic, right off the beach. We enjoyed a few nights out at local restaurants, which were short drives from our condo. But, some of the best nights were spent watching the sunset, making dinner, and enjoying good company on this quiet beach. The Retreat is truly that - I have never had such a relaxing time, and will cherish these memories for a lifetime. I hope I am lucky enough to return one day!"

  • Perfect

"We were lucky enough to rent #13 at The Retreat on Rum Point. It was fantastic! Perfect beach for relaxing, reading, sunning and snorkeling! The marine life right there was AWESOME! Loved the décor in the condo...lots of nice comfy towels and tons of little extras included! Great place to get away from it all. You felt like you had the whole resort to yourself! Beautiful setting. Would go back in a second! WILL go back! It is the perfect place to get away from it all, or walk next door to Rum Point and be in the thick of things! Red Sail sports next door is handy for any activities....and nice people to deal with!"

  • Amazing

"Loved it from the moment we arrived. It was like home away from home. The condo was nicely decorated and was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The view from the patio was beautiful and we enjoyed having our coffee out there very morning. We loved the north side of the island as is it was so quiet and quaint. We walked everyday in the area and spent our days at Starfish point swimming and snorkeling then back again in the evenings to watch the beautiful sunsets. Make sure to make a trip to Stingray City and the snorkeling in the coral gardens. We had breakfast and lunch everyday at the condo and went out at night for dinner. Try Over the Edge great food and drinks at reasonable price. Thank you Lynn and we look forward to coming back in the near future"

  • Great location, relaxing

"We've visited Grand Cayman a few times and decided to stay near Rum Point. Really enjoyed our time at this condo. We arrived a bit early, but unit was ready. Nice to have Queen and King beds. Kitchen and amenities well appointed. Enjoyed being on second floor with big screened patio having great view over pool and yacht club area... awesome place to have breakfast and watch the sunrise. Our kids, 5 and 7, really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We were fortunate to have many other kids their age to play with. Meant the pool wasn't very quiet, but keep the kids occupied. We went snorkelling right off the beach and saw some fish, lobster and of course star fish. Great place to hang out and watch the boats come and go from Kaibo. Kaibo has a bar, restaurant, and rental equipment. I do recommend a car if you stay here. Groceries are a bit distant, but manageable. Rum Point is also a great place to hang out and about 1.25 miles down the road (makes for a nice run). Most importantly, Mark was great to work with. He was very responsive by both email and phone."
