"Our stay was perfect. A few comments about the location. It's the absolute best of all worlds. The compromise I usually have to make when I stay at a condo instead of a resort/hotel is giving up on-site food and cocktail service in exchange for more isolation. Here, the unit is part of a small and quiet complex, yet an easy 40 second walk (maybe less) from two very good restaurants and a bar for my evening cocktails. In addition, you're the same 40 second walk away to book activities like the bioluminescent bay (which was wonderful). If you feel like getting in the car you're about two minutes from the restaurant at Rum Point, then down the road another ten minutes or so there are another couple great casual restaurants. I know most folks flock to Seven Mile Beach so we drove there one day just to check it out. It's a beautiful beach but we liked the solitude and more natural, laid back island vibe of Cayman Kai much better. They call it the "island side of the island," which is really true. As to the condo itself, it was clean, directly on the beach and very close to the beautiful infinity pool. We have two kids and it had so much more room than even a high end hotel suite. Quite simply, I don't know what more any family could ask for. I don't want the owner to raise his price but I'll have to say it's an amazing bargain, way below what comparable units rent for. In closing, rent this condo! You won't regret it."

"We had a great time in Grand Cayman with our family of 6. The place was perfect for us. Plenty of room and to have the open patio with sand and ocean out the back door is so nice. Note when we were there - there was a lot of dried sea grass on the beach so not clear soft sand. The villas are very private and quiet. The house is located with the ocean on one side and the road on the back side by the small parking area. So at night with the windows open you can hear cars. There are not a lot of cars but on weekends there are more. The house is 10 minutes away from Rum Point, a popular spot on the north side of the island. The villa is off the beaten path and away from the big resorts of Seven-Mile Beach. There were only 2 or 3 of the villas rented the week we were there. Full kitchen which was great for us - with a large family we like to eat all our meals in and pack a picnic lunch, rather than eat at expensive restaurants. A cooler was provided. We went to the grocery store twice about 25 minutes away from house. Also the washer/dryer was a must. There are plenty of sand toys, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc. We did bring our own snorkel gear though. There are two bikes with helmets but unfortunately one of the bike pedals was broken. It looked like an extra pedal had been purchased as a replacement but it was not on the bike and it kept falling off. The outdoor shower was great for the kids! The snorkeling out back is wonderful on a clear and calm day. Unfortunately, there were only two calm days so most of the time the ocean was cloudy and rough. Hard to see the fish. So when it is rough and windy on the north side (which is where the house is) you have to drive to the south or west shores of the island to get calm water. Having said that, you MUST rent a car!! We rented two small cars and we were so thankful we did. To drive on the left was easy to get used to. There is really only one main road on Grand Cayman so it is easy to get around. Not too much traffic and seemed very safe. We didn't anticipate having to get in the car everyday (kids weren't too happy about it in the beginning) and drive to a beach/snorkeling spot but after we got used to it the kids were fine with it. Most good snorkeling spots are 25-40 minutes away from the house so just be prepared. We packed lunch every day. Frank was very accommodating in giving us all the villa and tourist information we needed. All in all a great place and maybe we will be back one day!"

"This was the perfect "retreat" for my husband and I. We shared this magnificent home with 2 other couples. The location near Rum Point is away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown and Cruise Ships. The home was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities and essentials that one would need for a home away from home. Just steps from the home is the best fishing, snorkeling and diving in Grand Cayman. The pier with the cabana was an added bonus.
The homeowners are terrific! And yes, we will return."

"This was our second time renting this unit. It is well equipped and well maintained. We absolutely love the location on the cove, with Rum Point just across the street. You can book your snorkeling, scuba and Stingray city trips at Rum Point, as well as snorkel, lay on the beach, eat and drink. We kayaked every morning and every evening to the end of the cove where the view is spectacular. What a sunset! The pool is beautiful and the grounds are a tropical delight. Don't miss eating dinner on the beach at Tukka (East End), especially if there is a full moon. We loved the peaceful atmosphere."
