  • Really great place for a family to stay

"Our family of 7 (6 adults and a baby) stayed here the week of Jan 17 to Jan 24. At first, we thought we might be a little disappointed because the house was further away from 7 mile beach. We actually ended up loving the restaurants and area at Rum Pointe that we only went to 7 mile beach once! If you are looking for a fancy dinner experience for a anniversary or birthday celebration try Kaibo upstairs. The food was fantastic and for $55 you get a 6 course tasting menu! Also, the Rum Pointe restaurant for dinner was fantastic. The blackened red snapper was to die for! Overall, we were very happy we chose this house and the north part of the island. One suggestion - definitely go to the big grocery store by the airport before going to the house. Overall, very nice place to stay!"

  • We Enjoyed Every Minute

"Do we have to go?!? We enjoyed every minute here! We really enjoyed the swimming, snorkeling, Sting Ray City, eating at the local restaurants and attending Sunday morning worship at United Church up the road! Thank you again for letting us stay at your beautiful, clean, comfortable, and FUN house. It had everything that we needed and more! We hope to visit again in the future!"

  • Best Location Facility Snorkling and People

"Stayed here with 3 other best friends who go on a vacation each year together. The unit and condo complex is lovely. Clean, well equipped, on the beach, with a small view from the lovely lanai. The wifi worked great. The beach was awesome. A little rocky in places but plenty of white sand to go in and out of the shallows with great snorkeling. The other guests were lovely to talk with or you could be completely alone if you wanted on your private beach. The Rum Point bar next door was a good diversion if you wanted to walk 100 yards and be with the crowds playing volleyball, having lunch and generally lounging. There is a great tourist store, a water sports rental, a nice restaurant and all right there next door without driving anywhere. Your small beach area was not affected by the crowds on Rum Point. Any outside excursion would pick you up at your dock. We rented our own boat that was a great way to see the attractions like stingray city. We had turtles off our shore, a lobster, stingrays and plenty of fish to see including our coral reefs. I emailed the owner with questions and Wayne got back to me with great info. No worries, we just showed up and everything was set. Very good experience. The only recommendation is to get a car (not hard to drive - but an hour from the airport and 7 miles beach). Stop at the grocery store before you get there, the condo has basic spices and gear but you need at least your food and there aren;t any bigger groceries close by. Get duty free from the US prior to getting there - big savings. Love Love Love this resort and value for money we were amazed at how lucky we were to get it. We looked at east end (way to far out unless you just want to dive). 7 Mile too crowded and just like Daytona and a few other places were expensive or near nothing. This area has the best of everything."

  • Winter Getaway

"This was not our first trip to Grand Cayman and we are very familiar with the island and what is available by way of accommodation. We have always been partial to the North Side. It offers the peace and tranquillity that you cannot find on 7 Mile Beach and “A Mid-Winter Night’s Dream” has definitely offered us the best experience so far. The condo was as described, very clean and so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Definitely the best unit in the complex. We had a direct unobstructed view of the ocean and although we had planned to eat dinner at nearby restaurants, we spent most evenings dining on the lanai listing to the sounds of the ocean. Great snorkelling, very private beach and surrounding area. My husband and I highly recommend this property. Many thanks to the Lang family for sharing and a special thanks to Dan, it was a pleasure dealing with you."
