Designer Decorated Condo
"This condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen and baths were top notch and the large balcony over looking the ocean was beautiful. If you want to be right in the middle of everything on 7 mile beach then this is the perfect spot. The Marriott was 2 doors down and it was great for our teenagers to walk over and book parasailing, the hoby cat, snorkeling, and the waverunners. I was a little worried when we arrived because there are maybe 8 sets of chairs and umbrellas on the beach in front of the condo and that's it. I thought we'd have trouble getting a chair, but it was high season and I think we saw one other family use the chairs besides us. This was the opposite of the Marriott. Those people were packed in one on top of the other with rows and rows of chairs so close together and their beach had to be half as wide as ours.
The property itself was not quite as nice as the condo. I would say the complex was a 3 star complex. The pool was nice, but it was small and it wasn't on the beach. It had a nice pond around it and the girls had fun feeding the turtles off the bridge.
We were there for 5 nights and we didn't get a rental car. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. If we were there for longer, we probably would have rented a car to see some other parts of the island. Camana Bay is a new shopping complex with restaurants and a movie theater that is about a 10-15 min walk. It was safe for our teenage girls to walk down there during the day.
The condo is less than 10 minutes from the airport and we never heard an airplane. There is a Foster's grocery story (and liquer store next door) right by the airport so our taxi took us there when we arrived on our way to the condo. It was good to get that out of the way. After that, we just shopped at a little convenience store across the street.
We also took a boat tour with Aquarius to Stingray City, Starfish Point, and snorkeling. Transportation to and from the condo was included and that was a great day.
I would definitely rent this condo again. I liked it because it wasn't one of those mega hotels where you have to walk 2 miles from your room to get to the beach and put a towel on your beach chair at 7 am. And the teenagers liked it because it was safe enough for them to walk "around town" as they put it and there were a lot of activities for them at the Marriott."

"The Heritage Club was perfect for our family (with teenagers) holiday. As a first time to the Cayman's we wanted to hit the main tourist spots, dive, snorkel and just relax. This condo provided exceptional access to all of this and more. Unit 19 is very comfortable and well maintained. It has a very well appointed kitchen to allow meals to be prepared in or take a short drive to some excellent restaurants. The screened balcony is brilliant for sitting out in the evening with a light on to read or visit. it also works great for the few minutes at sunrise and sunset a few bugs come out. The complex is a perfect size to allow for creature comforts and still be small enough to strike up conversations with visitors and owners alike. The units and grounds are perfectly maintained thanks to the resident manager and his fantastic staff. You feel guilty walking on the freshly raked beach or use the sparkling clean BBQ. You may get the occasional person walking past from another complex nearby otherwise the beach is virtually yours to enjoy. The complex may not be for a young family who wants to run and scream all day at the pool or around the grounds, but if they are well behaved and just having fun like two young families that where there at the same time as us, you will be well accepted. The beach is perfect just as the pictures show. The dive company we dove with had a private dock 3-5 minutes to the north and the dive sites on seven mile beach are only minutes away. The Heritage Club and the Cayman's alike get very high reviews from all of our family. We hope to return soon."

"My husband, daughter, and l just spent 9 glorious days in Grand Cayman, and had the pleasure of staying in unit 303 at the Georgetown Villas for the third time. John and Marilyn, the owners, could not be more accommodating, they were just an email away, and responded back promptly with any questions we had.
The thing we love most about the villas is the fact that you never need a car - from Kirk's grocery store, to Blackbeards to pick up a bottle of their fantastic rum, as well as the abundance of restaurants just steps away, who could ask for more!!
The condo has everything you could possibly need, the beds are comfy, and it is so great to have satellite TV for those days you don't want to sit at the beach/pool, and the view - well it is indescribable, something you have to witness!!
We have met and developed friendships with some fantastic people that frequent / own condos in the villas, and we cannot wait to reunite with them in the future!!
As far as noise goes, if you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not the place for you, the only "noise" you hear are the waves slapping against the coral, who could complain about that!!
Many thanks John and Marilyn for giving us the opportunity to share your piece of paradise!!
Hope to return in 2017!"

Exactly as advertised - great views from EVERY room
"This unit was exactly as advertised. It was immaculate too. The views were great from EVERY room. We could watch the cruise ships arrive and leave. The grounds and the pool were clean. It was a very safe complex and security was walking around in the evenings. The island itself appeared to be very safe too. In front of the complex there was not much of a shoreline and the beach was rocky so people from the cruise ships were not trampling by. However I would have preferred a walk-in beach area instead of the rocky areas. There was a dock with a ladder that we could use but I like to go in slowly and have my feet hit the sand so we went elsewhere to swim. It was advertised correctly and we did get what was advertised. My husband and friend went snorkeling right off the dock which they loved. I think you do need a car to get to the other part of the island unless you want to take a taxi everywhere. The driving was on the left side of the road which did not bother our friend and car rentals were reasonably priced at Budget. We stopped at the nearby liquor store and grocery store and bought breakfast and lunch foods. The unit had a small cooler for our sandwiches and drinks for daily adventures. We tried different places to snorkel which was good. All and all the trip was good and the condo was wonderful. If you don't want a hotel this condo was perfect."
