"Three couples stayed here for 7 days. To us, it was the best unit in the anchorage...most private. The listing is accurate in its description and exceeded our expectation. The place seemed newly refurbished, was clean, and the service was excellent. No complaints...Would definitely recommend. The towels are not fluffy, but they look good and you're not paying for luxury here anyway. But more than adequate. Snorkeling good right off the beach, especially if you go a little north by the rocks, and swim out toward the ocean, Very shallow for the most part. Good variety of fish. No Mosquitos but no-see-ums (sand fleas) come out at dawn and dusk, even if you're not near the sand) Like Mosquitos, some people are more bothered by them than others. DEET spray or covering up at those times is recommended. Otherwise, daytime is bug free! Had a watersports place deliver some paddle boards to our unit...sorry,didn't get the name. We took one excursion....and it was the highlight of our trip.....a trip to Stingray sandbar and two other sites with Acquarius. Captain Mario wand Duane were great. We only had a total of 13 people on board, so plenty of room. While stopped at starfish beach, Duane made ceviche from the freshly caught conk that he dived for. They have the best price for what they offer and it has a very down to earth feel....not the cattle-car feel of the big boats. The anchorage is located in an excellent position on the beach. It's nearby town and two grocery stores are located within a mile or two in either direction ( and most stores are CLOSED ON SUNDAYS, so plan accordingly). We rented a minivan from Andy's. No problems, all went well. It was a challenge to fit six peoples luggage in it though. You just walk across the small airport parking lot and there they are. An unexpected surprise....chickens and roosters are roaming all over the place. Our funniest photo of the trip was 5 chickens standing in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken! We ate out once at Alfrescos....about a mile north of the condo, very nice outdoor seating and good food for a good price. Yes, it is quite expensive on the island, but if you do your research, you won't go broke. A good find was the hot food bar at fosters grocery. All kinds of local but mostly recognizable hot and cold food at a bargain price. Unless you have regular sun exposure, cover up in mid day so you don't get burned. Sun is strong there. My favorite trip ever! Enjoy!"

  • Just about the most perfect spot on Seven Mile Beach..

"Two married couples stayed here for 8 days. My wife and I are divers, and our friends are explorers and relaxers. The inside accommodations are nice. Large enough kitchen, with more than everything you need. Living/Dining room with plenty of space and comfortable seating. Two comfortable bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom, and one with a separate bathroom. Both bedrooms were quiet comfortable and had ceiling fans. Those areas are for eating and sleeping, so let's focus on the outside. This complex is a block off West Bay road, so there is zero traffic noise. This complex is also away from the cruise ship crowd, so it is peaceful as well. The outside deck faces east, so you get sun in the morning, but shade in the afternoon. This is very important for a few reasons. First off, we did most of our outside activities in the morning. We went diving and our friends went exploring. We generally met back up in the afternoon, and hung out on the deck reading, napping, and swimming or snorkeling. By then, the sun was beyond the deck, and it was cool and breezy, quite comfortable. Evening drinks, music and almost every sunset were spectacular! We spent the majority of our time on the deck, beach or by the pool. Even the neighbors were friendly, and most said hello or chatted with us. It was another successful trip to Cayman, and we have found a unique place to stay next time we come down."

  • Geat trip!

"This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we hope not the last. We came with our two teenage daughters and the villa was perfect for the 4 of us. It was very clean, there was ample storage space (dressers and closets with lots of hangers), the kitchen was well-furnished and it basically had everything we needed. It was very comfortable. The description, photos, location were all as described. The location on 7 mile beach was perfect. The beach was stunning and not at all crowded. There were always enough chairs and umbrellas. We liked the location of our villa, on the ground floor. It was quiet and the walk to the beach was very short. We just got home and I wish I could just walk out the screened-in porch door and head to the beach right now! We ordered groceries from Kirk Market and they were waiting for us on arrival. We had to make one more trip to stock up but that was easy to do with the bus service. (The grocery stores are very similar to those in the U.S. Many of the same products.) Also, the owner, manager and everyone that we dealt with associated with Regal Beach were so nice and willing to answer any question. There was also lots of information about activities and restaurants in the villa. I just can't say enough good things about our experience. I would recommend this villa to anyone without hesitation. And after walking the beach and checking out the other condos and hotels, we would choose Regal Beach again. You will love it."
