  • Great Value for Seven Mile Beach

"We had a very nice stay at Villas of Galleon. The owner was very responsive and professional during the booking process. The unit was exactly as advertised. It is fully equipped with all the typical kitchen amenities to cook in when desired. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and adequate space for storage. The location on Seven Mile Beach is outstanding. Close to both Foster (groceries) and to Cost U Less (groceries and hard goods). It is immediate adjacent to the Ritz and Westin, which is a prime spot. Provides easy access to these facilities for water sports rentals, gift shop, or restaurants. Public transportation (mini bus) is immediately available outside the door for $2.50 per fare. We took advantage of this and taxi to avoid renting a car. They drive on the left here. The price is very attractive, particularly compared to Hotels. The owner provided a significant price incentive as the HIGH Season just passed. The only suggestion we have is the unit is slightly older in the deco and would benefit from a refresh. This is our third visit to Seven Mile Beach (previously stayed at Marriott and the Beach Suites) and would recommend Villa of Galleon for future stays."

  • Can't wait to come back!!

"My husband, daughter, and l just spent 9 glorious days in Grand Cayman, and had the pleasure of staying in unit 303 at the Georgetown Villas for the third time. John and Marilyn, the owners, could not be more accommodating, they were just an email away, and responded back promptly with any questions we had. The thing we love most about the villas is the fact that you never need a car - from Kirk's grocery store, to Blackbeards to pick up a bottle of their fantastic rum, as well as the abundance of restaurants just steps away, who could ask for more!! The condo has everything you could possibly need, the beds are comfy, and it is so great to have satellite TV for those days you don't want to sit at the beach/pool, and the view - well it is indescribable, something you have to witness!! We have met and developed friendships with some fantastic people that frequent / own condos in the villas, and we cannot wait to reunite with them in the future!! As far as noise goes, if you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not the place for you, the only "noise" you hear are the waves slapping against the coral, who could complain about that!! Many thanks John and Marilyn for giving us the opportunity to share your piece of paradise!! Hope to return in 2017!"

  • Designer Decorated Condo

"This condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen and baths were top notch and the large balcony over looking the ocean was beautiful. If you want to be right in the middle of everything on 7 mile beach then this is the perfect spot. The Marriott was 2 doors down and it was great for our teenagers to walk over and book parasailing, the hoby cat, snorkeling, and the waverunners. I was a little worried when we arrived because there are maybe 8 sets of chairs and umbrellas on the beach in front of the condo and that's it. I thought we'd have trouble getting a chair, but it was high season and I think we saw one other family use the chairs besides us. This was the opposite of the Marriott. Those people were packed in one on top of the other with rows and rows of chairs so close together and their beach had to be half as wide as ours. The property itself was not quite as nice as the condo. I would say the complex was a 3 star complex. The pool was nice, but it was small and it wasn't on the beach. It had a nice pond around it and the girls had fun feeding the turtles off the bridge. We were there for 5 nights and we didn't get a rental car. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. If we were there for longer, we probably would have rented a car to see some other parts of the island. Camana Bay is a new shopping complex with restaurants and a movie theater that is about a 10-15 min walk. It was safe for our teenage girls to walk down there during the day. The condo is less than 10 minutes from the airport and we never heard an airplane. There is a Foster's grocery story (and liquer store next door) right by the airport so our taxi took us there when we arrived on our way to the condo. It was good to get that out of the way. After that, we just shopped at a little convenience store across the street. We also took a boat tour with Aquarius to Stingray City, Starfish Point, and snorkeling. Transportation to and from the condo was included and that was a great day. I would definitely rent this condo again. I liked it because it wasn't one of those mega hotels where you have to walk 2 miles from your room to get to the beach and put a towel on your beach chair at 7 am. And the teenagers liked it because it was safe enough for them to walk "around town" as they put it and there were a lot of activities for them at the Marriott."
