  • WOW! Returning never disappoints!!

"WOW, returning for the 3rd time, really felt like we were back home again! Check in is a breeze! This spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath is so comfortable, clean & well maintained, has a fully equipped kitchen, rent with confidence! The owners are wonderful to work with and have really made this unit a wonderful getaway, with new improvements constantly. 7 Mile beach is steps away, and sports the most pristine beach in the Caribbean (from this Travel Agents eyes!), complimentary beach chairs and shade are always available! Hardest work you'll do all week is filling the cooler!! And don't get me started on the sunsets! I've stayed on the East end, toured many hotels on 7 Mile, and we keep returning to Harbor Heights. The property has a security guard on duty to remind anyone it's private property. Traveling off season meant only a few cruise ships in port the entire week. With dining space for 6, we enjoyed breakfasts together (Fosters IGA has everything you need). The spacious comfortable living area made for a cool retreat (with Owners books "on loan" and games). With beds for 6, we all slept great! Visiting this summer, we had no waits at restaurants lunch or dinner. Some of our favorites: Dukes BBQ night across the street, Sunshine Grill burgers/fish tacos, Eats, Da Fish restaurant downtown...all made us wish we had more nights to eat out! Grand Cayman is easy to get around, locals are very friendly, and driving is on the left! So find your flipflops! Because when you need to get away from the business of life, stare at endless shades of blue, this piece of paradise is the ticket! We're already dreaming about returning!! Thanks again to the owners for the great memories & sharing their amazing "home away from home" with us! We'll be back : )"

  • Great Family Retreat

"Great location away from the crowds of Seven Mile Beach. If you want to relax, this is the place. The condo was excellent and just as it was described and photographed. The condo DVD collection was extensive (kids and adult) and a great surprise. The condo village was relatively quite also but on Saturday night there was a band next door at the Kaibo Bar that played until midnight and Wednesday night until 9pm. Best bet is to buy groceries in George Town for best selection. My wife was quite surprised at the Kirks grocery of the wide gluten free food selection. We hung out mostly at the nearby Rum Point beach which was great except for the high priced cocktails. Free lounge chairs and water and very clean bathrooms. We did the sting ray city tour from there with Red Sail Sports and had a good time. The condo was well stocked with everything you normally have at home and was very comfortable. It is the best located condo in the whole phase. We will be back someday again. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place."

  • Ocean View from every Room!

"We had a wonderful time! The minute we walked in the condo, I felt that the unit was even better than described by the VRBO listing. It is spacious, very well kept and you can see the ocean from just about every location inside. The porch has a wonderful hammock that we used often – when the wind is blowing, the hammock rocks gently. Once you walk outside, you are a few steps from the beach. The beach is not as nice as 7 mile, but does have great snorkeling offshore. Unfortunately, for about half the time we were there, the wind was quite strong coming from off the ocean. If you like a private and low key setting, this side of the island it great. If you want more restaurant options and busyness – 7 mile beach is the place. We did go to 7 mile beach 3 times for different reasons during out stay – it’s not hard to get to and is about a 45 minute drive."

  • My family LOVES Far Tortuga!

"My family and I (6 adults, 2 toddlers) had an amazing week at Far Tortuga! Booking was simple, and Vince was easy to work with. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful week, and definitely got what we were looking for at this beautiful location on the North side. We enjoyed being "away from it all", and spent all but one day on the North side entirely. We cooked many meals in the full kitchen, then dined with the beautiful ocean view in front of us. We all enjoyed a little relaxation in the gazebo and on the hammock. The pool is also a wonderful feature, especially for little ones. Vince is not kidding when he says some of the best snorkeling on the island is right off the dock of Far Tortuga. We went scuba diving on the North wall 6 times during our stay, and what we saw snorkeling at Far Tortuga was just as beautiful as the dives (only on a smaller scale). Rum Point and KaiBo (both on the North Side, 7-10 min. from Far Tortuga) both offer island BBQs certain nights of the week with ocean front dining. KaiBo was good for a quick lunch and bucket of Cayman beer. Rum Point also offers tours to Sting Ray City without having to drive 45-60 min. to the 7 Mile Beach area. For diving, we recommend Tom at Cayman Marine Lab. Vince sent us lots of information before our stay (about the house, car rentals, grocery shopping, etc.) which made it easy for us to get settled on our first day. Thanks for the tip about grocery shopping on our way in on Saturday, as many places are closed on Sundays. Vince also followed up with us after our stay to make sure that all was as expected during our stay. We hope to make it back to Far Tortuga some day!"
