"Location was awesome, we were able to walk across the street and be at Rum Pointe Beach in less than 5 Minutes! Snorkeling at the right of the pier was nice. Sting Ray City tour by Red Sail (located at Rum Point Beach) is a must do! The gear from Nigel was better than that we used on our trip to Stingray City. We rode bikes around the neighborhood, to Kaibo bar and to Star Fish Beach. Kayaked in the cove in the morning and again at night! Bioluminescent was really cool, you will need to find the darkest areas in the cove to get the best effect! You can place your hand underwater and shake it vigorously and watch the sparkles. The kayaking is so relaxing, we even took drinks with us and made it a nightly ritual. It was suggested we rent a car, so we did. It allowed us to sample the restaurants on the north and east end. Over The Edge restaurant at sunset is really nice, Tukka at moonrise would be great, Lighthouse for Sunday brunch was excellent, to name a few! Our top choice was the Kaibo Yacht Club, the Almond Shrimp crusted Grouper (recommended by locals) made my top five meals of all time! ( yeh, it's that good) I think they are only open Thurs. thru Sunday nights, so don't miss this if you are a true foodie! The pizza at Kaibo Beach Bar is really good also, prepared in a brick oven right near the beach, great lunch spot.
This was our first time on Grand Cayman, it won't be our last. We liked the laid back atmosphere of the Rum Point area. We did a day trip over to Seven Mile Beach area and did some shopping at Camana Bay. When we come back, we will stay at the same place!
Mudslides and Piña Coladas from The Wreck Bar at Rum Point Beach can be addictive, enjoy.
Great 30th anniversary trip, our plan is to next time bring family and friends to share all this with them."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Discovery Point.
Perhaps you are suppose to 'rough it' in the Caribbean, but you won't here.
Located on some of the best beaches of Grand Cayman,
Close enough for grocery and night life,
Great snorkeling and diving,
Nice pool and while sand cabanas,
Nice guests to enjoy along with,
TERRIFIC unit A/C and accommodations,
Would gladly stay there again."

"Rented both units so that we would have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was perfect for the 4 of us: me, my husband and my parents. The living area and kitchen were spacious and never felt cramped or crowded. There is a balcony off the 2nd bedroom that connects to the balcony off of the living room.
This unit has an awesome view and is at the end of the resort, so it tends to be quieter. The bar at the Reef or the Morritts is just a quick walk down the beach. There is a small grocery store across the street, that has a pretty good selection for any last minute things you may need. We had a slight problem with the dishwasher when we first arrived, but Barbara, the property manager was quick to respond and fix the problem. Never any problems with the AC or enough hot water for everyone.
We were there for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Carl was great to work with and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"My family and I just recently returned from a 10-day visit to Grand Cayman. My wife and I honeymooned there 20 years ago, had an anniversary trip 15 years ago and have been anticipating a return since. We opted to avoid the hustle and bustle of a hotel stay and found this great condo option. Villas of Galleon are PERFECT if you want to relax, avoid the trap of eating out three meals per day and want to be close to the beach. The location is absolutely unbeatable! The grocery store is a short walk away and if you want a break from cooking, you can walk to several nearby establishments. Our unit was nicely equipped with everything we needed. I was especially impressed about the loads of towels available for our use. Although we didn't spend much time in the unit, the time we spent there was very comfortable. Enough can't be said about the beachfront. I couldn't help but smile when I looked to my left and right and noticed the hotel crowds were packed in on the beach while we were able spread out and relax. There are ample chairs available with umbrella options to get out of the sun. We will definitely be back. My wife and daughters were talking me into a return trip before we even left! I would highly recommend this unit."
