  • Absolutely a perfect vacation!!!!!

"After reading the great reviews this place gets our expectations were really high and it did not dissapoint. Karen really makes it easy with the packet and suggestions prior to arriving. The condo was very clean and she truly has thought of every need. Kitchen has about every utensil you will need, there are lots of beach towels, T paper, bug spray, etc. The place feels very home like. The location really is great. The bar is truly right next door but closes by 7p so it is very quiet and relaxing. My two boys (5 and 7) would get up every morning with their Papa and walk on the pier seeing lots of fish and stingrays and chasing crabs. Great memories for them. We walked down the road to the public beach which is about 600-700 yards.....and snorkled back. We saw ton's of fish and great gardens of coral. The snorkeling is great as you end up right in front of the condo. Highly recommend taking Karen's advise on water shoes for the beach in front of the condo. Lots of rocks and coral. We really enjoyed Tukkas to eat as their lion fish tacos are incredible. Kurts Corner is a must as this is where the locals eat and the food is great and the price is less expensive. It is not on the beach so we got take out a few times and ate back at the condo. I would recommend going over to Kaibo for the stingray city tour as it is about 1/2 the price vs if you book it right next door to the condo. Plus the boat is smaller and he only takes 10-12 people at a time. Also takes you snorkeling after visiting the sting rays. Rum Point is truly a great place to stay as it is much sleeper than Seven Mile Beach. It does get somewhat active for lunch time as a few cruise passengers show up but they are generally there for 2-4 hrs. The only place we thought the food was just ok was at the ShipWreck. Pricey and just not that great of food. Have someone run up to Kurt's and bring it back. The only thing I would change is outside the condo they had the grass area roped off as they were trying to grow sod. My boys would have loved to throw the ball or kick a soccer ball there but could not. This just means it will be that much nicer when we return!!!!! This truly is a wonderful place to be with your family if you like something a little more layed back. Also Starfish point was fun as we were the only people there for 2 hrs."

  • Terrific location and amenities on southern tip of 7 mile beach

"Can't beat this for a less crowded and "complete" package of everything there is to enjoy on Grand Cayman. The grounds, pool and location are top notch. We are an active family so the third floor didn't bother us at all and the view..oh the view..cannot be beat. Accomodations are nice and the kitchen is well equipped as stated by others, but the real value is in the private, homey feel of this place, close to everything and within a short walk. We really, really enjoyed our stay. There were a few little things, but they got taken care of without hassle and if you like a stiff bed, you'll love this place!"

"After doing months of research for this vacation, I settled on this condo and it was AWESOME! This unit is exactly as pictured/described if not more. It was clean, well kept and updated. Everthing is well stocked and in good condition. It is a 2nd floor corner unit on the outside end of the complex and we found it to be very quiet/private for the most part. The owners were great to communicate with and the property manager was kind and helpful. You wont find a nicer place to stay for the price. Nice parking lot with ample parking close to the unit. It was perfect for the four of us. My husband and I took along our two sons, ages 10 and 12. The boys loved the pool and the beach. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well as clean and well kept. We found a Starfish or two almost every morning right out in front of the Condo complex and more just a short walk away at Starfish point. Loved having the Kaibo Yacht club right next door. It was great to watch the boats come and go while relaxing on the screened Lanai or from the beach/pool area. We ate at the Kaibo Yacht Clubs Beach Bar and Grill right next door there twice during our stay and it was very good. Service was a little slow, but that seemed to be the case anywhere we went. Not much hurry anywhere on the island. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well kept. Rum Point was beautiful with its amazing blue water and relaxing atmosphere. Sting Ray city is a must do for anyone who visits Grand Cayman. We did our trip with Red Sail Sports on their glass bottom boat. Other places we ate at were Over the Edge, Kurts Corner, The Wreck Bar and Grill at Rum Point, The Lighthouse at Breakers and Coconut Joes at 7 mile beach. All were good, but The Lighthouse was the best by far, pricier than the others, but very well worth it. I would highly recommend this Condo to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the Cayman Kai area. We will be back. Thanks :)"

  • Location Is Key!

"What a great time we had! This property is steps away from the beach! It's on the lower level so you can just walk out onto the sand! Love that! Breakfast on the patio near the water and sunsets that most people only dream about! Location is everything! The condo was clean, safe and close to everything. As noted, the complex has the beach, pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, and its own restaurant within steps of the condo. Something for everyone! We arrived on a Sunday not realizing that all the stores (including supermarkets) were closed, so the restaurant was key since we were so hungry from our trip. There are even grills outside where we BBQ'd one night. Snorkeling in the Caymans was the best! There are a number of great recommendations in the journal at the condo. Our favorite was a boat tour (Acquarius Sea Tours) that took us out snorkeling, to stingray city, and starfish point - great for our teenagers! Great staff, they picked us up at the condo, included snorkel gear (even life jackets and noodles if desired), and underwater photos (all included in the cost)! They didn't overcrowd the boat like a lot of others we saw. Great time, definitely would recommend to all - best bang for the buck! Another highlight was The Cracked Conch (near the turtle farm) and it's sister restaurant. Both great snorkeling and food! Unfortunately, my teen daughter needed medical care (minor - not island related) and there is an urgent care facility within walking distance. They were great and were able to get her back on her feet for the trip back home. Just good to note that there is a competent medical staff nearby. Would recommend this condo and the beautiful Cayman Islands in a heartbeat. The people are so warm and friendly. Larry and his wife are lucky to call this their own! Thank you for sharing your home and creating long lasting memories for me and my family!!"

Cayman Islands Travel Tips

Cayman Island Rentals Are Bases to Discover Paradise

Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1503, the Cayman Islands were originally named Las Tortugas after the numerous sea turtles there. The Cayman Islands are now ideal locations for today’s explorers. Cayman Islands rentals give independent travelers bases from which to discover the myriad of attractions on the Cayman Islands. Cayman Islands villas allow you to discover exciting activities at lovely Caribbean resorts.

Cayman Island Villas for Relaxation and Education

Seven Mile Beach is one of the Caribbean’s premier beaches. Located on Grand Cayman, it is easily accessible from all Cayman Island villas. South of Seven Mile Beach is Georgetown, the capital of the Cayman Islands and home to several Caribbean resorts. Located here is the Cayman Islands National Museum. There are more than 2,000 items portraying the natural, social, and cultural history of the Caymans. Take time away from your comfortable Cayman Islands rentals to visit the Cayman Turtle Farm. This is a fascinating excursion where you can see the work being carried out to bring back the population of endangered green sea turtles.

Explore Sea Life at Caribbean Resorts

No excursion from Caribbean resorts is complete without visiting Stingray City. Conveniently located close to Cayman Islands rentals, this attraction is where a large number of stingrays gather. It is believed that the fish come to the area because local fisherman used to clean and gut their catches here. Now visitors wade onto the waist-deep sandbar to pet and feed these amazing creatures. This will be an unforgettable experience to remember when you look back on your time in Cayman Islands villas.

Caribbean Resorts for World-renowned Diving on your Doorstep

Cayman Islands rentals offer the more adventurous some of the best scuba diving sites of all the Caribbean resorts. World-renowned sites such as Bloody Bay and Jackson's Bight are located on the north side of Little Cayman. Famous for its sheer cliff drop offs, it is definitely for the experienced diver. The spectacular natural beauty, activities, water sports and interesting places to visit from Cayman Islands villas makes the area the perfect vacation destination.
