  • Amazing rental, close to everything, didn't want to leave

"Amazing first-time experience in Grand Cayman. Can't say enough about this condo and the people who run it. Mark was very responsive with all the paperwork and Karita on the ground was superb. Answered all my ridiculous questions and helped us get settled. This unit is wonderful. Amazing view, bathrooms in both bedrooms, nice sized kitchen, beach towels, books, puzzles and games galore. The starter food was a godsend and we only had to go to the grocery once (we brought a ton of food from home). Mornings on the balcony were wonderful watching the cruise ships come to port every day. Sunsets right out your window were amazing. Pool was never crowded and always clean. Grills and umbrellas available. Beach is small and rocky, but good access to water and great snorkeling right there for beginners like my kids. Water crystal clear and warm. Easy to moderate walks to Marriott, restaurants, Camana Bay, town. We didn't need a car. Buses are convenient and way cheaper than cabs. Beds were sooo comfortable. Mark sends you lots of suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We even followed his lead to see the huge iguanas across from the Marriott hotel. The kids loved it. Thanks for everything. We'll be back and will recommend to others."

  • GREAT PLACE!

"My husband and I have been coming to Grand Cayman for 3 years now. This time we took along our 9 year old grandson. I must say this place was more than I expected! Wonderful view, clean, plenty of towels and all the little things like floats and noodle, and plenty of toilet paper...LOL. The TV in the second bedroom would only get 4 channels and using the remotes was a little confusing. Nothing that kept us from enjoying place. Joyce let us know that there was a possible issue with the air conditioning but it worked fine. I hope to use this property next year! Thanks for allow people to stay in a nice place for a decent price!"

  • Great private retreat.

"This is the second time we have stayed in Pappagallo 27 and have absolutely loved it. It is situated on the northern part of West Bay so it is much quieter than the bustle of 7 Mile Beach. The setting is beautiful. The condo has 4 separate balconies - all of which face the water. You can turn off the A/C, open the doors and let the breezes, which blow pretty continuously, waft through the rooms and halls while listening to the surf outside. The grounds are immaculate with a sumptuous swimming pool. You are a 30 second walk from your own private little beach with a pier on the reef that offers great snorkeling. At night, you can walk out on the pier and, because you are away from the city lights, see the beautiful night sky and stars. Look down and you can see the sparks fly from the bioluminescent sea life that flits and sparks around the shallows. Yet it is all just minutes away from groceries and restaurants. If you are a walker, there is plenty of beach that extends into the national park and miles of quiet road and path in the park. All around, there is something for everybody."

  • Spectacular Honeymoon

"My husband and I honeymooned to the Brac in December, and we were so impressed with Featherstone! Minnie has truly created a personal paradise on the island. The cottage itself is situated on a property that also include's Minnie's home and a downstairs guest apartment that is also a rental property. My husband and I never felt as though we were anything but alone here at Featherstone, however. We only saw Minnie a few times during our week stay, and she was always respectful of our privacy. The cottage is further back than Minnie's home, but it is still only steps from the ocean. We always felt like we had the beach to ourselves when we were spending time there. Minnie has done a great job with different areas for relaxation. There are two gazebos on her beach, each with two hammocks (great for a midday nap!). There are also several beach and lounge chairs for sunbathing. Cayman Brac is a rocky island, but Minnie's beach is one of the nicest we saw during our exploration. The beach is sandy and a bit rocky, but it is not the iron shore that is seen on the majority of the island. Wear water shoes! The kitchen and living room were the perfect size for us. The bedroom is very beachy-feeling and so comfortable! There is a private deck off of the bedroom which is where the hot tub is currently, along with a table and chairs. We spent almost every night in the hot tub stargazing with homemade piña coladas or daiquiris. The deck no longer has the stairs that come down to the ground-level, as seen in the photo, but we liked it that way - it felt more private! Behind the cottage is a private patio area with a grill, table and chairs, and a hammock. Minnie made sure that we were very comfortable during our stay. For the first few nights the island was extremely windy, and our power went out to the upstairs at one point. We didn't notice too much because we were gone most of the day, but Minnie called an electrician and the problem was fixed quickly! There is air conditioning in the cottage that we used on occasion, and it was very comfortable and cooled the home quickly. Overall we loved Cayman Brac and our little cottage at Featherstone! The island is small enough that there isn't much nightlife, but there are plenty of restaurants. If you're looking for an adventure, this island has great hiking, snorkeling, diving, and fishing, and lots of cool history (with no shortage of ways to lounge around). :) Thanks, Minnie! Can't wait to come back!"

Cayman Islands Travel Tips

Cayman Island Rentals Are Bases to Discover Paradise

Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1503, the Cayman Islands were originally named Las Tortugas after the numerous sea turtles there. The Cayman Islands are now ideal locations for today’s explorers. Cayman Islands rentals give independent travelers bases from which to discover the myriad of attractions on the Cayman Islands. Cayman Islands villas allow you to discover exciting activities at lovely Caribbean resorts.

Cayman Island Villas for Relaxation and Education

Seven Mile Beach is one of the Caribbean’s premier beaches. Located on Grand Cayman, it is easily accessible from all Cayman Island villas. South of Seven Mile Beach is Georgetown, the capital of the Cayman Islands and home to several Caribbean resorts. Located here is the Cayman Islands National Museum. There are more than 2,000 items portraying the natural, social, and cultural history of the Caymans. Take time away from your comfortable Cayman Islands rentals to visit the Cayman Turtle Farm. This is a fascinating excursion where you can see the work being carried out to bring back the population of endangered green sea turtles.

Explore Sea Life at Caribbean Resorts

No excursion from Caribbean resorts is complete without visiting Stingray City. Conveniently located close to Cayman Islands rentals, this attraction is where a large number of stingrays gather. It is believed that the fish come to the area because local fisherman used to clean and gut their catches here. Now visitors wade onto the waist-deep sandbar to pet and feed these amazing creatures. This will be an unforgettable experience to remember when you look back on your time in Cayman Islands villas.

Caribbean Resorts for World-renowned Diving on your Doorstep

Cayman Islands rentals offer the more adventurous some of the best scuba diving sites of all the Caribbean resorts. World-renowned sites such as Bloody Bay and Jackson's Bight are located on the north side of Little Cayman. Famous for its sheer cliff drop offs, it is definitely for the experienced diver. The spectacular natural beauty, activities, water sports and interesting places to visit from Cayman Islands villas makes the area the perfect vacation destination.
