"This Simply Cayman Condo directly on Seven Mile Beach was accurately described by VRBO and the owner Mark. The on-site manager was extremely helpful and had the condo ready for an early arrival. The complimentary "start up" groceries were appreciated. We went grocery shopping at Kirks (nearby) and Blackbeards (also nearby) for adult beverages (not available in the grocery stores). At the end of our stay, we left our spices, oils, etc in the cupboards for future guests. The complimentary cell phone was helpful for local phone calls (restaurants and stores). The GTV condo is near the beginning of Seven Mile Beach (Georgetown area). It's easy to access everything on the West side of the island. We found having a car was very helpful for visiting different locations. We spent a whole day at Smith cove snorkeling (swam with a nurse shark) and laying on the beach. We visited the QE Botanic Gardens to see the famous blue iguanas. We never saw any of them away from the botanic gardens but the condo complex had several different kinds of smaller brown and green ones. We visited the Turtle farm (fun to hold the baby and toddler aged turtles) and followed the visit with a delicious meal at Cracked Conch. Other favorite meals were at Luca, and Tukka (pretty views and feed the frigates and tarpons). The condo view of the ocean is a treat. My family observed a double rainbow over the ocean from the balcony one early morning. The pool and the grounds are immaculate. My kids used the pool everyday. It was fun to meet other people from all over the world each evening as everyone gathered by the pool / beach wall to watch the sunset. We did shelling in front of the complex and saw lots of urchins. My kids appreciated the games and puzzles at night before bed. There are chickens and roosters everywhere including the GTV complex which definitely adds to the island setting. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves from the master bedroom."Guest: Heidi H. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: January 5, 2015View listing
"Great condo. It is just as beautiful as the pictures. The owner is very helpful as well as the entire staff at DPC. I would strongly suggest that you bring water shoes (urchins and rocks in water). The beach is rocky at water's point but you can stroll down just a 2 min walk for a sandy entrance. Always had plenty of seating at beach and poolside. The 3rd floor was wonderful for views and not difficult to get to beach. When we arrived Ollie said that an air conditioner repair had just taken place in one of the bedrooms...it worked! She is exceptionally helpful (thank you for the use of the computer). Be advised that there will be no spices, oils, etc. left in kitchen so you will have to purchase that. Lovely time. I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat. Thank you :)"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"First let me say Michael the owner was so easy to communicate with, very efficient and super organized. All questions were quickly and thoroughly answered. The house offers everything it says in the VRBO brief. Our teen girls loved the kayaks at the house and the pool. There was also a fun diverse DVD collection we had some good family time watching! Mitzy the management company lady was quick to address any questions we had too and scheduled a cleaning request (we were staying for 2 weeks) at 24 hours notice. Rum point is literally across the road from the house. A one minute walk to a beautiful beach, gorgeous blue ocean, super friendly staff and awesome cocktails while watching stunning sunsets just can't be beat!! Our teens even tried the paddle boarding at the beach here ($20 for half hour) and we snorkeled there too. Not great snorkeling, but fun. Water at the beach is only waist deep in most places so great for young families and the whole place and facilities are kept super clean. We were over there most days at some point. The restaurant there was really good too for an easy evening out, when hubby fed up of driving. Be aware, staying at this house absolutely necessitates having a car. Georgetown is a good 45 minute drive and reasonable supermarket is 30 mins away too. We loved the quiet versus commercialism of seven mile beach area and don't mind driving. We did scuba diving, pony/swim ride (coral stone stables) paddle boarding, snorkeling, golf, swimming with the turtles at Spotts beach (amazing!), kayaking and lots of pool/beach relaxation too. Totally recommend this listing!"Guest: Alison Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"We visited Cayman Brac with another couple a few years ago. We were in search of a quiet, beach destination. Sea Feather exceeded our expectations and is as described in other reviews. Its location cannot be beat - close to the local dive operations, and equi-distance to some of the best sea cliff limestone rock climbing in the Caribbean. We toured the caves, hiked around the cliff tops, and enjoyed our evenings before sunset checking out the tide pools in front of the house. The diving was fantastic, and I highly recommend the night diving. The house is equipped with everything you need and the hammocks are beyond compare! Sue was great in helping us with our trip planning and Barry took care of our every need while on the Island! We will be back!"Guest: Dan Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 18, 2014View listing
