  • Lovely place, well designed

"The place rivals top hotels in its design, decor, location and views. Very nice to take in the wonderful view while cooking in your outdoor kitchen and dining outside. Directly on the beach. If you wish to explore the island, you need to make friends, hire taxis or rent a car as the location is a bit isolated (not necessarily a negative if you wish to get away from it all). Truly stunning apartment."

  • Perfect Family Beach Vacation

"One of the best spots on Grace Bay! Jeeno welcomed us and took us on a tour of the condo & facilities. She gave us great advice on reasonable places to eat, groceries and even taxis. We stayed here for a week with 3 teenagers. The condo itself was top shelf all the way with plenty of space for everyone. The amenities - wifi, appliances, HDTVs, gas grill, tennis equip, w&d - gave us all the comforts of home. We used the grill 2 nights and 3 days for lunch. We actually had some friends stay at another resort who ended up coming to our beach most days. It is a first floor unit, so you simply walk out to the beach where the Pinnacles staff had our chairs / tables / cabana's all set up for us. The Pinnacles complex itself is gorgeous. Great pool, tennis court, fitness center and jacuzzi. It's gate so there is no traffic or people walking through all the time. The staff even brought us fresh coconuts 3 times (great with the local rum!). We thought the best part was the location. It's next to the Seven Stars resort. The beach is a bit wider at this end and much less crowded than Beaches / Club Med or some of the other big resorts. Some good and reasonable restaurants were within walking distance (Caicos Cafe, Mr Grouper's, Caicos Bakery, Crackpot Kitchen). The IGA market is also a 5 minute walk away. Make sure you reserve Thursday night for the local Fish Fry (taxi ride) for some great local seafood, rum punch, music and dancing on the beach - nothing like it. For activities, the Dive Shop is a 5 minute walk. We booked a diving trip and a snorkel trip, they picked us up in the boat right outside the condo. We also did some parasailing and banana boat rides right at our beach. We will definitely be returning to Grace Bay and this condo!"

  • Love Nella's Nest

"We had a pleasant experience staying at Nella's last December. The house is located about 15 minutes from the aiorport. Easy to find. When we arrived the house was well groomed. Very Comfortable rooms and baths. Outside is remarkable. Walkway into the ocean with plenty of decking by the house and several areas to sunbathe near the ocean. Thanks for sharing your house with me"

  • Repeat Paradise Vacation

"Just returned from our second relaxing vacation at Villa Camilla. We had such a wonderful time three years ago, we promised our family we would bring them the next time. We rented both upper and lower guest houses which provided plenty of space and privacy. Loved the new pool and hammock. Sharon let us drop our belongings off before check-in while she was cleaning, so we could walk to Somewhere for lunch. She also returned midweek to tidy up and provide clean linens which was nice. The owners were staying in the main house and very graciously invited us all over for sunset cocktails. The house is in the perfect location on Grace Bay with nearby snorkeling, and restaurants. We felt very safe during our stay. There was always someone tending the beautiful grounds during the day and a security guard walking the perimeter during the night. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning to this slice of paradise again!"

Activities and Attractions at Curacao Villas

Curacao is one of the Caribbean’s top underwater and diving destinations. The pristine coral reefs will delight even the most experienced of divers. A highlight of Curacao diving is a site known as the mushroom forest. Here, you can experience a magical underwater forest of giant mushroom-shaped star coral. Some are as large as 10 feet. The diving conditions are ideal and typically, you can enjoy crystal-clear visibility, warm water temperatures, and calm swell conditions. Snorkelers can enjoy the underwater wonders on the shallower reefs. For those who simply want to relax and enjoy the sunshine, there are miles of beautiful sandy white beaches and persistent good weather.

On land, the islands have some unique attractions. The Hato Caves are an intricate network of limestone stalactites and stalagmites. There are also a number of cave drawings which are believed to dates back 1,500 years. For those who enjoy exploring nature trails, the Christoffel National Park has miles of scenic trails for visitors to enjoy. You can photograph wildlife or visit the beautiful cultivated gardens. Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The beautiful pastel-colored buildings are unique in that it is the only place outside of the Netherlands where such fine examples of Dutch colonial architecture can be found. Willemstad is a shopper’s delight with boutiques and galleries offering a wide assortment of high-end purchases. It is also an excellent place to enjoy an evening out as there are many fine restaurants in the town.

Best Time of Year to Visit Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Curacao

Curacao enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. Heavy rain falls tend to occur in May and again in October and November; these are generally the off-season months for travelers. The summer months can get very hot which is ideal if you enjoy water sports but perhaps too warm to laze on the beach. The peak travel season is during the moderately cooler months which are from December through April.
