"Our group was very happy with the rental at Marazul, the pool was great and the pets on the wall were fun to watch,(Iguana's). The steps down to the water were a small challenge with gear on, but what a great way to get to go diving right from your back yard!
We were missing some things to begin with and that was taken care of 3 days later and all was good. We didn't have but a very small roll of toilet paper and I understand that you may have to buy some, but there should be some to start. Only two beach towels were there and so we shared for a few days and then we didn't have ant spray under the sink like the paperwork said would be there. We know ants are normal, we just didn't like waking up at 3am with some crawling on the bed and no spray to deflect them, luckily someone left an ant trap and we put that on the floor by the bed and that appeared to help.
Only other suggestion is to update some of the paperwork in the welcome packet just a bit. I was following the inner page on the directions and then got to the gate and it wouldn't open, luckily some one was coming in and gave us the code. We did see the update on page one later, after looking it over to see if we missed something, but you don't realize the numbers in the back were different until then.
We enjoyed the restaurant by Marazul, the Rancho Sambrino, I think the name was but even more than that we loved the Trio Penotti!!
The dive shop Go West/ Ocean Encounters was very well run and we had great dives with them. You do have to schlep your gear around more than some of the land based places we have stayed, especially with the steep stairs to get down to the shop and dive area, but we managed okay. The shop did deliver tanks to Marazul after a few inquiries, they were short handed but finally found a way to make it happen.
These were just inconveniences and they did not take away from the experience we had that week! The bungalow was spacious and clean and we were very pleased. We would certainly stay there again!!"

"Our trip to Curacao was a blast! When we arrived everybody was a bit tired from the trip, but as soon we jumped in the pool and enjoyed the sun, that was gone. The house is amazing, it is big enough for 10 people for sure (we had a group of 7)! When we arrived, they just finished with the upgrades of the washer and dishwasher, so we were the first ones to use them. Franca was very friendly and helpful, she showed us around and gave us some great tips for dinner and the beaches (Port Marie was our favorite ;-). She even provided us with some power adapters for our phones. The views were wonderful and we absolutely loved having dinner on the porch. We will be back for sure as the weather in October is very pleasant (a lot better then back home I can tell you ;-).
Pierre gave us the tip to take some old bread when snorkling and feed it to the fish.. our boys loved it!! They were surrounded by the most beautiful reeffish. The ocean is crystal clear and warm, our boys only came out for snacks or drinks. Who knew they could survive without their ipads ;-)
We’re already looking to book for march as by then we will be tired of the snow and could use some sun."
