"Ten great days enjoying. The house is excellent for vacationing. It combines a large, open family room and roofed deck, making a great place for meals, games, and relaxing with a great view. The pool was a wonderful way to spend some down time between excursions around the island. The home had everything we needed and made our vacation easy and restful. Really appreciated the before and after communications with the management company and the owners. No surprises and very easy."

Wow, we had 6 adults, (2 parents, and 4 adult kids!) stay for 14 days/nights at Sirena Bay where we purposefully based ourselves due to its fantastic location and what looked like (from photographs) a superb site. We weren't disappointed and staying in such a historic building as the Landhuis at Sirena Bay, with all of its associated links with the past, was a real boon for us from the UK. All this and it is so close to Punda, Pietermaai, and generally.......everything what a fantastic experience. We just want to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Curacao generally.
Your friend who met us at the airport was incredibly helpful in getting us all generally settled in, (food, beer etc) and also for laying out the 'way of the island' a really really useful start to a sparkling couple of weeks. So thank you for arranging with him to meet us whilst you were away.
Also big thanks to your Son Jeff who came to see us on our second day. He really outlined what and where was good and what was indifferent and also what was going on whilst we were there. The rest of the guys and I also thank him for the rental of diving gear for the duration of our stay which was hugely beneficial given the cost of some of the places we could have rented from. Diving was, as Jeff outlined, simple and I quote 'you basically have a nice lazy swim out off the beach, get to where the turquoise water turns dark blue and dive the reefs'. Took the advise and it was bang on every time! 4 very satisfied divers and 2 very satisfied beach lubbers everywhere we went......which was pretty much everywhere!
Finally to those marvels Otis and Shelley who helped us all along the way telling us of the really interesting and fascinating things to see, places to go and do as well as being just plain lovely people who were only too glad to help out, totally support Patti C's comments, you can't get better support than from Otis and Shelley.
We will no doubt revisit the Island and where better to do so from than Sirena Bay so we will be watching your bookings online. If anyone out there is wondering should I risk going, will it be ok?....don't think DO you will not be disappointed and if you are then you really need your approach to life reviewed.
Once again RIchard, thanks to you and your friends for making a good holiday a great holiday and allowing us to use Sirena Bay it was perfect.

"Place rocks. Traveled with our 3 kids 17-9 for spring break this year and had a great time. Home is a private oasis. Island itself is a bit ugly, however, we and our kids were perfectly happy in the pool and at the resort next door. Not many Americans and the grocery store can be a bit challenging. We rented a car and had many great adventures. Bring your own scuba gear for conscience off the back dock. Will be back next year."
