  • Amazing & Relaxing Beach House

"We just returned home from the most amazing week at Windrose. With a large group of 12, we never felt on top of each other between the two houses, the great deck and your own beach within 20 feet! It is easy to get to from the airport, a quick 5 minute walk down the beach from several resorts and restaurants to eat and drink at, or several excursions will pick you up right on the beach. You can also take a quick 5 minute cab ride into town, rent bikes, and then bike from the house to town in about 10 minutes to shops and the market for the rest of your stay. We had one very small issue while we were there, but Basia and her team took care of it immediately, while we continued on with our day. The cleaning staff is a nice touch in the middle of the week as well."

  • Loved our first stay at St John Island

"Our family of 12, grandparents, children, spouses, and grandchildren settled into the house very quickly. We were taken back by the beautiful view from the balcony off the back of the house. The view was spectacular. We spent many evenings sitting outside enjoying the island breeze and view. The house was well laid out and allowed us room to spread out. The drive up to house was steep and the switchbacks took us a couple trips to master, but were not difficult. We traveled to a number of beaches, St Thomas to sightsee and shop, and dined at local restaurants. We also found the kitchen more than adequate for a large family and the dining room wonderful for family meals. The beach chairs and towels were very welcome for beach going. We had a few minor problems with the house, but the property manager had maintenance people there quickly so the problems were of little bother. The property manager was very helpful in showing us details of the house operation and provided a detailed book of activities, instructions, and helpful hints. Very well thought out and a welcome indeed. The owners were very nice and corresponded with us by email prior to our arrival answering questions and making suggestions to guide our stay. We would not have known what to bring or what was available locally had they not been so gracious. This was a trip that will be remembered for many years by young and old. We will be back."

  • Beautiful view

"We had a wonderful time on our 3 week vacation at this property. The views were breath taking, even more beautiful in person than what shows in the photos. The location of the property was perfect for us as it is a quiet area of the island, and the gated security made us feel very safe. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked to allow for cooking our own meals, and had a private grill. The large supply of beach towels was really nice to have as we spent our days at the beaches on St Thomas and St Johns. All of the beaches were just beautiful but snorkeling was best at Coki beach, Secret Harbor, Salt Pond bay, and Water Lemon Cay. We saw octopus, sting rays, and Eagle rays besides lots of pretty fish and coral. Our favorite restaurants were The Green House downtown, Cup & Cork near our condo, and Simply Italian on the same property as Cup & Cork. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to USVI."
