  • Stop Looking - Book it!!

"Greetings all We just returned to the cloudy Pacific Northwest after 6 days staying at Villa Chai Light. We already miss it in more than one way. I will give my comments broken down in categories: Owner Jacky - What a lady! One of sweetest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Her communication from first inquiry to departure was great. When we arrived she had arranged for some grocery items to be in the home and it was just as we asked. We had a brief walk thru of the property and she was on her way. She lives just up the hill. The Villa - Perfect, well appointed, very clean, well maintained and had that perfect beach feel to it. The house is basically two living areas one upstairs and one down. The downstairs has a full kitchen, king size bed, shower, sleeper sofa, wonderful deck and great view. The same goes for upstairs with the addition of a second bedroom with a single bed. The value you get for the money makes this Villa well worth the price! Location - North Sound / next to Leverick Marina - Great location with the marina, restaurants, shops and bars next door. We would just walk down the hill to dinner several nights and anything we needed was in the Pantry down the hill. The Villa is quite private and water front with a nice dock including a deck. The dock will accommodate a dinghy which is great for running around North Sound. The constant parade of boats is a treat to watch. Activities: - next door is the marina, personally feel that a Dinghy rental thru B&B is in order for half of your stay. Andy Bradley next door is great to work with and the dinghy's are perfect to run around the bay on. Our favorite spot was the Sandbox across the bay. Bar, restaurant with good sandwiches and plenty of chairs on a nice private beach. There are plenty of excursions to take advantage of, but plan ahead. Jacky can make suggestions accordingly Must visit places in North Sound: Sandbox, Saba Rock, Bitter End Yacht Club, Leverick Marina. MUST GO eat lunch at Hog Heaven. What a view. Can't describe it! This is a must. For any questions while you are there including arranging rental cars etc you have two contacts. First is Jacky the owner and second is Chudney, who can get you anything you need on VG. He is also the one who most likely will pick you up at the ferry dock. Very punctual person based on several interactions with him and a super nice guy! Now, stop looking, BOOK IT!"

  • A Little Bit of Heaven

"We just returned from a one-week stay in paradise! The condo is absolutely exquisite, decorated with the owner's artwork (really beautiful tropical watercolors), and overlooking the most beautiful beach and water you'll ever see. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing. The condo was very clean and stocked with everything you would ever need. We were greeted with a beautiful fruit basket, which provided much of our breakfast for the entire week. The owner was lovely and gracious in all her e-mail communications. She even sent an attachment with suggested restaurants and much helpful information prior to our trip. The staff at Discovery Point are just wonderful. We often stopped in the office for directions, snorkel tour recommendations, etc. and they were so accommodating, friendly and truly helpful. What I really love about Discovery Point is its location on Seven Mile Beach, up and away from the busy strip of hotels and condos closer to Georgetown. That area is getting way too built-up for me. Discovery Point is still quiet, private and uncrowded. There were always plenty of beach huts, umbrellas and beach chairs, no matter what time we went to the beach. I do recommend a rental car, as there is much to see and do all over the island. Thank you, Avis and Roger, for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us!"

  • Wonderful experience.

"Our first time to the Virgin Islands was one to remember. This wonderful condo was a major part of that. How the owner represents their property is spot on, especially since one can't put into words just how beautiful it really is there. Marsha is excellent in all things related to renting a condo. If you are looking for simplicity, quiet, and "peaceful with a gorgeous view", then this is truly to place for you. Dining can be accomplished in several ways. We did cab rides into Red Hook as well as using the 'walkable' choices near the unit. "Off the Grid" food truck at the top of the hill was awesome, definitely recommend at least one visit there. "Banana Cabana" was great for lunch, right there on the beach, and nice selections. We"

  • Over The Top Fabulous!

"Stunning views, immaculately clean, minimalist charm, we had everything we could ask for plus the sounds of the waves...would recommend to anyone, it could not have been more comfortable and joyful. We like to visit different places...but will certainly consider returning to this spot just because it was so perfect for us. Spent 11 days, could have stayed forever. Our only regret was that the wind was unusually strong during our stay so we did not use the beach, swim out front or make use of the paddle board or kayaks, or sit on our deck for meals. But the beauty of Eleuthera is that if it's windy on one side, good chance it's not on the other - so we spent lots of time exploring the stunning "Caribbean" side. Great snorkeling, deserted beautiful beaches. Cayo Loco supplies really nice beach chairs and towels - we took these with us everywhere, they were much appreciated! Bring a small cooler (we left one there) for lunches as who wants to leave the beach once you get there? Take Maureen up on her offer to supply coconut water - refreshing morning drink. Eleuthera itself was just our speed - have never visited the Bahamas because our impression was that they are very touristy. Not so here...Eleuthera is a true throw back in time. The local people as well as all the expats we met could not be more kind and gracious, it is one of the safer islands we have ever visited. And Cayo Loco is one of the nicest vacation homes we have ever rented. Kudos to Maureen and Alan."

Activities and Attractions at Curacao Villas

Curacao is one of the Caribbean’s top underwater and diving destinations. The pristine coral reefs will delight even the most experienced of divers. A highlight of Curacao diving is a site known as the mushroom forest. Here, you can experience a magical underwater forest of giant mushroom-shaped star coral. Some are as large as 10 feet.
