  • Great place.

"Great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the beach. Living among the locals, not a resort. The apartment was even prettier in person. Would recommend getting a rental car while there to explore the island."

  • Perfect! Fantastic Views; Cool Ocean Breezes!

"Exactly as pictured and meticulously cleaned for our arrival; well appointed with most everything you need for your stay. We stayed for a week in March and really enjoyed Oasis del Caribe and this unit. Carolyn was great to work with for our booking and very responsive to our needs, providing lots of helpful advice and recommendations for us. Oasis del Caribe complex is very well maintained - we saw the pool being cleaned twice every day! The location is perfect; everything is within walking distance and every morning we enjoyed cinnamon rolls from Casa Pan Dulce which is about a two-minute walk. We didn't bother renting a golf cart as everything that we wanted was within easy walking distance, however if you are more interested in relaxing than walking, a golf cart would come in handy for picking up groceries, dining out and such. The condo is on the 3rd floor and the walk up is well worth it for the views and the cool breeze from the ocean when you're enjoying a drink on the balcony or on the roof-top, which affords you a full panoramic view of San Pedro. We recommend Richie's for groceries - best prices and selection, and the small liquor store just north of Richie's on the same side of the street. The store owner recognized us after 2 visits and started discounting our purchases without us even asking. The people of San Pedro are very warm and friendly and we were quite comfortable walking the streets and beaches. For lunch one day, we had Pork Burritos from Waraguma on Pescador (middle street) which were absolutely delicious, as were Frozen Margaritas from Wayo's Beach Bar just next door. Do yourself a favor and book a snorkeling trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley; we used Searious Adventures; they picked us up by boat virtually right in front of Oasis del Caribe, and will drop you off there as well - cost was $70.00 USD (includes Marine Reserve fees of $10.00/pp) for 2 hours of guided snorkeling (ask for Eddie for your guide!). The excursion was the highlight of our trip, even better than the snorkeling off of Curacao which I didn't think possible. Thank you so much, Carolyn - we hope to return some day. We certainly won't need to shop around for accommodations!"

  • A perfect slice of tropical paradise!

"We were looking for a beachfront location to spend some vacation time with our family: 3 grown children and spouses. We looked at several locations but this Condo fit the bill perfectly. From the moment we reserved the unit, the owners were helpful with informing us about lots of details. Then they connected us with the concierge service which helped us with airport transfers etc. When we arrived and walked into the unit we were immediately impressed with the view, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the condo. The entire unit is furnished to perfection. From the Bose surround sound to the furniture in each part of the condo. The bedrooms were awesome, beds and pillows were very comfortable, even the bath towels were soft and awesome! The pictures on the site are accurate but in person the unit is so much more impressive. Then we moved outside, the pools and beach were just steps away. There were plenty of chairs, umbrellas at the pool. There was never an issue with finding a chair or shade at the beach either. The staff was attentive and moved furniture as needed when we were outside. The vistas are amazing from all angles. Lots of sea life near the edges of the cove. We were traveling with our adult children and their spouses and the fact that each bedroom was a suite with its own bathroom was priceless. Everyone had their own private space. Yet there was great spaces for us to be together for family time, card games and socializing. We also spent a day at Caleton Beach Club which was a hit with the family. Lots of waves on that beach, and it provided some great water time. We loved our time at Cap Cana and for sure will return and use this most amazing condo again."
