  • Dream vacation

"Five friends and I went to Casa De Campo for a wedding. We were two couples and two singles, so this four bedroom villa was perfect! We were greeted by Luce, Mary, and Jose who would be the staff for our stay. They were so helpful, and although there was a slight language barrier, they did everything to help. We set up ahead of time the plan for them to prepare dinner for our first night. There was a mixup in that we asked for fish tacos, and got beef tacos, but it was still great. It was very convienent not having to go to the store when we got there, and they didn't add a surcharge, just their taxi fee to get the groceries. We ended up having them prepare breakfast every morning for us which was about $10/day per person (Not bad!!). Breakfast was always pancakes, eggs (different styles) bacon, toast, fresh fruit, and even fun things like mashed plantains. The staff was generally there half the day, cleaning rooms and bathrooms before leaving. They were there when we wanted but appropriately stayed out of the way. We loved getting to know them! The four bedrooms were perfect for our group. There are a half dozen sitting places inside, which we took advantage of for drinks and chips & guac before our nightly wedding party adventures. Everything in Casa De Campo is a simple golf cart ride away. Make sure you have enough carts so that each couple has one (one cart seats four, though). My only 2 complaints -- the neighbors trash can smell crept on to our pool area in the afternoon. I also noticed a dog barking two of the five days we were there."

  • a second year and another perfect golf vacation- Ruth Ann B. had a hole in 1!

"Gentleman, what a wonderful week. We were 10 ladies for a second year of golf. We had so much fun and I can't imagine a better place to stay. Jose and Michelena (spelling?) are really a special team. She is a wonderful addition to your staff and I believe they work very well together. We ate most of our meals at home and she was happy to cook for us and she always had a smile. And it was great, every day. When you have 10 women at a restaurant, someone is almost always unhappy with their food but not with Michelena's cooking. Jose ran to the grocery store each day and purchased what she needed for our dinners. We didn’t want to go out as we were having such a great time. Year 2, how is it possible to be just as nice? We will be back the last week of February again in 2016."

  • Couldn't ask for anything more

"We rented this villa for 18 people and had such a peaceful, wonderful experience. I equate it to renting out a small resort and not having to share it with others. You get personal attention from the wonderful Ariel Perez who is there to answer any and all questions you may have. He is an extremely friendly and genuine man that values customer service and ensures the guests are comfortable. The customer facing staff is amazing. Chef Ozzy makes sure to gather your input about meals and will execute your menu flawlessly. The wait staff of Raymundo and Ramos are attentive, extremely polite, and fun. The staff was engaging and made an effort to get to know us. The back office staff always ensured we had fresh towels and toiletries and that rooms were always clean. We have absolutely no complaints about the staff, genuinely appreciated their efforts and company. Honestly, the staff is great, but the best part is really the villa. It literally is a small resort. The pool is big and deep. Great for swimming and floating around. There is a kiddie pool which is also quite large, but no one spent any time in it. The hot tub is AMAZING. Grab a couple of beers and some good company and you can waste away the night looking at the stars, listening to the ocean, and talking story. The property is on the ocean, and only a 5, sometimes 10 foot jump away. Be daring, the ocean looks rough, but it's not as bad as it looks. The tennis court is great and has night lights. The veranda is where everyone spends so much time and is a perfect area for meals and lounging. It's a treat to live like this, even only for just a few day. We were luckily enough to spend time with friends and family in this wonderful place. It's a place we would love to visit again, and one we regret having to leave. Cheers to Deena, Ariel, and the entire staff for the wonderful hospitality."

  • Home Away From Home

"Our family of 14 just got back from Philippe's house in Casa de Campo and it was extraordinary. The staff was accommodating, helpful and very sweet. While their english is not very good we had a couple spanish speakers and we got along swimmingly. I would recommend making a menu beforehand for meals and making sure to express which nights you want Maria and Co. to stay for dinner. With two children under two and a 96 year old grandmother we all were able to have fun at his home. Philippe is a gentleman and was very responsive to all of our requests. Bring plenty of sunscreen and have a great time!"
