  • Great Villa, Great Vacation

"The Villa Carolisol is a great Villa to stay at for a vacation. Maria and Jose, did an excellent job with any and everything wr needed. Maria's meals were terrific. The Villa is very spaceous, the pool was nice and was always clean, thanks to Jose. The beach is less then a 2 minute walk from the Villa. The ocean breeze was fantastic from the 2nd floor balcony area. Everyone in my party was completely satisfied with the Villa and its staff. I will recommend The Villa Carolisol to, and for anyone planning a trip to the Dominican Republic"

  • Fun in Puerta Plata

"The facilities at this villa were fantastic, especially the huge pool area. The help were helpful, courteous, and competent while still being unobtrusive."

  • “WE JUST HAD A VACATION OF A LIFETIME”

"As soon as we walked in the front door we knew we had arrived at the right place. This place is absolutely gorgeous! The owners obviously put a lot of thought into designing and furnishing the villa. When we first arrived, Tonya greeted us with a beautiful smile and Narciso helped take our luggage up to our rooms. Everything was positively perfect during our vacation at the villa. Our family of 6 spent most of every day at the pool or at the beach. We loved Tonya’s cooking and suggest you try her mango pie with ice cream. The villa was spotless, the pool was crystal clear and the gardens were perfectly manicured. Tonya made some pancakes one morning with bananas harvested right off a tree in the villas’ backyard. Delicious! Narciso had the pool area ready to go every morning before we were awake and Tonya was downstairs cooking breakfast for us. We could get used to this. Our kids loved swimming with the dolphins at Ocean World Park, just a 5 minute walk from the villa. We highly recommend the Catamaran Tour. Gus, the local man that helps you schedule excursion tours, had the tour van pick us up and drop us off right in front of the villa. Very convenient. The worst part of the vacation was when we had to leave this piece of paradise and the wonderful staff. We will definitely be back and will recommend the Villa de las Sirenas to all our friends and everyone. Thank you Patsi and Brian for sharing …"

  • A great vacation in the DR

"Couldn't have had a better time thanks to Paul & Tamara!! 2 weeks in the beautiful Dominican Republic. Our lodgings were nicely appointed, maintained & clean. Our day trips from the Villa were exciting and interesting. Several trips into Puerto Plata (7 mins) to visit the Fort, the Amber Museum, the Larimar Museum, up the Cable Car, the Luperon Museum & lots of shopping. Other day trips to: Monti Christi with the most beautiful beach; the mountain city of Jarabacoa with gorgeous waterfalls & rivers, Carnival Celebration & stunning vistas; to Sosua for the beaches & Jewish Museum; but the most fun was our trip to Paul & Tamara’s Plantacion de Cacao Del Eden, after which we drove to La Isabella for the Columbus ruins & museum & a delicious lunch on the beach front. Great restaurants in the area: your special night should be at Mares Restaurant with Chef Rafael Vasquez-Heinsen!, we ate three times at La Papillon with Chef Tomas, famous for his Pina Coladas. Andrea our personal chef & house keeper was a star… imagine getting up in the morning, going outside to sit under the lanai, over looking your private pool with the ocean glimmering & being served a wonderful breakfast of tasty dishes by Chef Andrea! She kept the Villa looking spotless & even asked to launder our clothes! Just sitting around the pool at the Villa, we had to keep the binoculars close for the best birding!! Tamara’s gardens surrounding the Villa were beautiful. The Villa had a great kitchen & electronics & internet connections. But the key to our fabulous vacation was Paul & Tamara!! They made sure everything went well & anticipated our every need. The Dominican Republic is a great vacation. Urban & rural, world history & solitary beaches, great weather & the beautiful people... bring your camera!"
