  • Stay at Cap Cana

"Beautiful condo, nicely furnished and perfect location. The views were incredible. We had a great time. Tips for future renters: rent a car, its the best way to get around. Also, there aren't many options to eat inside the complex. Only one restaurant open for the week we were there. The beach restaurant only operated on the weekend basically. The mini market is not a good option, must go to the actual grocery store by the airport (only 10 mins away, but you need a car). It is the perfect location IF you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. We had the place to ourselves, very few people and activity going on, both at the beach and pool. Good to read books and relax all day. I am glad we opted for ocean front. Not only we had the beautiful views, but the access to pool and beach were literally steps away, easy to go back and forth all day. Jill, owner, was very accommodating! Overall a great experience that we hope to repeat!"

  • Paradise

"This was the perfect place for our golf group - 6 of us, all women. The house is simply spectacular, the staff incredible and the owners accommodating beyond our expectations. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. If you want a comfortable place to lay your head at night and fabulous golf during the beautiful Caribbean days this is the place for you!"

  • A very relaxing and enjoyable stay

"An excellent place, away from the hustle and bustle. i would recommend renting a car though, the resort is huge and you would need a car to get around it. The apartment is not childproof though, neither was it advertised to be so extra caution is necessary."

  • Villa Fabulous!

"We researched our next Spring Break vacation until we found the perfect spot in Villa Gordon. Hidden away between Sosua and Cabarete was a little community of 10+ homes, a hotel, and an amazing restaurant all behind a guarded gate. This beach house was perfect for our extended family of 11 to visit and hang out for the week. With the four bedrooms off to the left side and the main house with two master suites, living room, dining room, and kitchen was a great place to stay for our first trip to the DR. Watch the videos Gordon sends you before you come, it will help a bit. Enjoy the comfy couches outside with 'Mini' the sweet, sweet kitty who sits on your lap. The pool gets shaded in the afternoon. The ocean right outside is dangerous but walk to the point on the right (AFTER the big rock) and it's shallow a good ways out, or go past the 3rd surf camp (10m walk) to where there are no rocks, gentle swells, and perfect waves for your kids. Or if you surf, rent a board! The life guard walking the beach was a bonus! Franklin (one of the best parts of the trip) picked us up from the airport and was our taxi the whole week. Johanny and Cathy, our maids for the week, were very industrious and hard workers and... they made breakfast for us EVERY single morning. It was heaven. Make sure your kitchen is stocked. For extra you can get a house-keepers lunch and everything was so good. Cons - Just a few! - Biggest problem was the wifi. They were not reliable at all. At. All. Chez Arsenio had a much stronger connection and it was sad the way we ran over there to download our email, or a book on our Kindle. The bedrooms do not get it at all (planned that way). The living room goes out every other day so you can't stream Pandora to the music speakers. - It's a typical beach house. It's a comfy house and perfect for all of us to lounge in but there is wear and tear in the house. The water filter spout was broken and hard to get water out of. One of the couches outside was a little worn down (like too many people sat in one particular spot). The outdoor plastic chairs, wooden chairs, and lounges were uncomfortable. - Buy extra toilet paper! :) - We got a little sick, even though the water was filtered. Be sure to talk to Anne about stocking the house with food. She is AWESOME! Go to Chez Arsenio! Happy Hour! - Monkey Jungle - Cabarete Beach - FAV! - 27 Waterfalls Have a great time! I would type more but I'm being cut off in my review! :)"
