Heaven on Earth!
"My (20 year old) daughter and I spent our Christmas vacation at Casa Lila almost one month ago. We had never been to the Dominican Republic before and we were not disappointed! The villa was beautiful- just as pictured. The doors and shutters opening out to the pool made for delightful indoor/outdoor living. The weather was perfect and there was a wonderful breeze that -for the most part- made air conditioning unnecessary. The beach is so close to the villa; just a very short stroll through a quaint covered pathway. And once there, you are overcome by the absolute beauty of the scene. I honestly don't think I've ever seen more breath taking beaches as there were in Las Terrenas; the water was clear and always at the perfect temperature. We had hoped we wouldn't need a vehicle the whole time but the villa's distance from the village required a car (I was a little worried about the driving but it was actually kind of a fun adventure). Everyone was so kind and helpful and, although my daughter does speak Spanish, we found most people spoke several languages, including English. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Las Terrenas. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!"

"We had a wonderful family vacation at Los Colinas 20. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The meals were delicious especially breakfast and dinner. The house is beautiful and yet comfortable. The kids had a great time hanging out in the hot tub and playing pool. We look forward to another visit to the villa in the future!"

"We stayed at this condo for a week and had an excellent time. The owners were a pleasure to work with, gave us good advice on where to eat and things to do, and were prompt in responding and returning our security deposit. They offered to arrange for pick up from the airport but we were renting a car for other reasons so we did not take advantage of it.
The condo has a living area facing the beach and then two nicely separated bedrooms, each with a bath. It is ideal for two couples.
The condo is in a very good location, perhaps 100 feet from the beach. Being on the second story was a plus as it provided better breezes and better views of the beach. The sound of the waves was a relaxing background to our entire vacation. The front of the unit has full width sliding glass doors opening onto a covered porch, where we spent essentially all our time. In our opinion, this condo was one of the most ideally situated of all the units in the complex. Every day we walked the beach, which was one of the highlights of our trip.
The complex is probably three quarters of a mile from the center of Cabarete, and it is possible to walk there on the beach, the last quarter mile is a trail along the bluff. Cabarete has a nice grocery store (Janets) and a bunch of good restaurants. There is also a nice restaurant (Martinis) perhaps a quarter mile in the other direction right on the beach.
The condo is in a fairly laid back area. We saw a number of older couples, young couples and young couples with children. Most of the wind and kite sailing is closer to downtown Cabarete. There are a number of companies that offer activities such as diving, zip lines, the 27 waterfalls, wind surfing, etc, and they will all pick you up at the condo, so a car is not really needed.
We did some diving and highly recommend Dive Cabarete; they were excellent. All the diving is from Sosua, a town about 15 minutes away (but the Dive shops will pick you up).
All in all, this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.
A couple of things to note: The wifi log in information is actually on the cable box on the TV. We had to hunt for it. There is no laundry in the unit, but there is free laundry in a building off of the parking lot."
