Fabulous family vacation!
"We had a wonderful family vacation at Los Colinas 20. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The meals were delicious especially breakfast and dinner. The house is beautiful and yet comfortable. The kids had a great time hanging out in the hot tub and playing pool. We look forward to another visit to the villa in the future!"

"When you wish to live like a king in a castle give Jose/Joseph a call. This property is something you can only find in magazines. The grounds are immaculate and the on site caretaker Wishney is there for any need for this Castle/Villa. I was here for a friends 50th Birthday Party and due to the number of participants we had a overflow of people. Well we lucked out and ended up here. The views from this Castle/Villa are amazing. We had difficulty with a television and Jose/Joseph provided another immediately, two actually. The large kitchen is amply stocked with all necessary cooking and dishes for a football team. I am hoping I get to return here to stay in the very near future to again live like a king in a castle."

A great overall experience. I liked it so much I came back.
"I brought my 19 and 22 year-old sons here for spring break and we loved every bit of it. We were here a year ago and I am looking forward to going back. Going to this region requires pre-planning if you are not accustomed to it. You are not in the US. But that is why I like it. Everything is a little different. This trip can be as relaxing or exciting as you choose. I like a balance of both. The house and grounds are great for a family. The staff at the house are friendly and take pride in what they do. The house, Casa Blanca, is pretty and clean. Sobeida (I am probably not spelling her name correctly) is a great cook. The restaurant food in the area does not match Sobeida’s so save yourself a lot of hassle and try to arrange your day to enjoy your meals at home. Part of the adventure is going out to get groceries. Eat what is local and you will get the best results. The fresh fruit along the road is also good and more fun than going to the grocery.
My suggestions that made my stay easier: 1. Get at least enough groceries for the next few meals and snacks at a grocery on your way home from the airport. When shopping, it is expected that you will feed the staff of 3 people. It won’t matter. It is much more economical and enjoyable than eating out. A good grocery store called La Sirena. https://goo.gl/maps/BHrNV
2. Driving in the Dominican is difficult. However, having no car would be rough for me as I like to explore and venture out. The drivers are aggressive. I typically decline coverage when I rent a car. Not here. Get full coverage and use your Amex card as they usually cover the first $500 if there is a claim. A lot of vehicles drive at night do not have any headlights. I already have a hard time driving at night so I always tried to time my day so I would be home by dark.
3. Look at a map before you get there and before you head out.
4. Bring cash. Know the exchange rate. Many businesses will take US currency, but don’t count on it all of the time. Convert US currency at the bank located at the grocery store for the best rate in the easiest way."

"This was our first stay at Isabel's lovely home. The house is extremely warm and inviting, and is in the perfect location, with easy access to the beach, marina, and Altos de Chavon. Isabel was so helpful with all of our arrangements, including stocking the fridge with food we had ordered, and leaving extra special treats for our sons for Easter. The house staff--Danny and Iro--greeted us as soon as we arrived. They helped us get settled, and we were able to relax right away. Danny and Iro were so incredibly kind to us, and made our week very special. Every meal was perfect, the house was beautiful, and Danny helped us with all of our activity reservations. The hardest part was leaving! We hope to be back very soon! Thank you again, Isabel!"
