  • Better than Perfect!

"If you are looking for a place to stay in the Punta Cana area...this is it! The condo is fully equipped and very we'll appointed with everything you need. This condo is part of an area that is vibrant and full of wonderful, nice and fun people. A safe and beautiful area. We didn't want an all-inclusive as we wanted to experience some of the true culture. We'll...we got it and we loved it. A fella from the grocery store adjacent to the property came over one afternoon and cooked us a traditional Dominican lunch...the food was great, but spending time with him and learning about his life and family was an great experience and something that we will always remember! Two local ladies came by and gave us massages another afternoon...they were wonderful and we got to learn about their lives and cultures as we'll. this condo is not all-inclusive, but I'd argue that! First, the owner is amazing to work with! She's so helpful, flexible and easy to work with...made arranging dates and payment easy! Next, the property manager (Lana) is awesome! She picked us up from the airport and took us back ( for a small and recommended fee), but she was so much more. We really enjoyed Lana...she took us anywhere we wanted to go throughout the week, she is from the US and speaks English and Spanish so that was a huge help. She also showed us some restaurants and other things that we probably would never have found on our own! There was an issue with one of the air-conditioning units while we were there and she had it repaired and working in no time on a Sunday afternoon ( which is no small task in the DR)! So...between the logistics, condo and the gorgeous beaches and water...this is the place to be...highly recommended and can't wait to return! Tips: learn quickly to relax and go with the flow while in the DR things are much slower-paced and not focused on being on time. The people are very nice! Everyone will tell you not to ride the motoconchos, but we did and loved it...so fun! Download a currency converter app for your phone...you will need it. Things are not cheap...don't be fooled and negotiate all prices! Don't exchange money at the airport...they rip you off. Wait until you get to the condo and then go across the street to Duran...best rates. Relax, enjoy and have fun!"

  • A taste of Luxury

"First I have to take my hat off to Ivy!! She is the best! The Penthouse is just that a Penthouse off the ocean... Waking up outside on a balcony laying on a bed watching the sunrise PRICELESS! We arrived to celebrate my brothers 50th B-day, his first time in the Dominican. The pictures does this place not enough justice. Ivy did a great job decorating as my friend is a interior designer and he was impressed. The kitchen has everything you need and Janet's supermarket is a short walk away. They also will bring your groceries home for you as well. The place has security and gated, we felt very safe at all times. We actually met a neighbor downstairs who was very nice and kind, and even lent us her Ikea bags to go get groceries. We also went to Ivy's restaurant Onno's, great food great service and right on the beach. This place was great, we had a issue with a toilet but didn't even bother Ivy with as I know she would've responded but it was not even close to being a show stopper plus being a little handy man, it just needed a little jiggle. The view is spectacular the location is awesome 10min walk to kite beach and all the food and bars you need. I would tell anyone to stay here as I think I'm coming back in August. Ivy thanks for letting us share your lovely space!"

  • Cofresi is luxurious and fun!

"We stayed in a poolside king room. It was large with high ceilings and was bright and beachy! The mini bar had beverages stocked daily and it was convenient being so close to the pool and beach. My favorite part was the huge jetted tub that opened to the room. Everything seemed brand new and modern, but not cold. It was easy booking through VRBO and my rep provided tons of helpful information. I would definitely go back!"
