  • Just got back from an awesome family vacation!

"Just got back from our wonderful vacation to Vieques. This home has an amazing panoramic view from its huge front patio. Definitely our favorite part of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house came with a pack and play which was very useful. Kitchen was well equipped and cabinets had "leftover" seasoning/oil/ etc from previous renters which was useful.. We also added to that by leaving what we couldn't take with us. There were plenty of coconuts to snack on. We had a rental car and were able to tour the island a little bit. (Most side roads are not paved and can be very bumpy). Our favorite beach was half moon. Would have liked to visit Blue beach, but was closed along with some others. I read they were closing for a few months to clean up military debris. Unfortunately we weren't able to do a bio bay tour (full moon), but will hopefully be back and can plan that for our next trip. Overall had an amazing vacation and would absolutely stay at this house again. FYI/Suggestions for the house..... only 2 of the 3 bedrooms have AC. It did get very hot/humid at night and we had to pull one of the mattresses into another room to sleep. The shower in the hallway bathroom has such poor water pressure we had to all use the master bath to shower. Not a big deal and I'm sure It could easily be fixed. Some of the beach chairs are broken/rusty. Again not a big deal since we spent most of our time on the crystal clear water!"

  • A Beautiful Villa at a Beautiful Place

"My family stayed at Pink Horses during Thanksgiving time. This is the first Thanksgiving we did not cook a turkey, but this is the most special and fantastic Thanksgiving we had by far! My mother-in-law has not seen ocean before and we wanted to take her to a place with beautiful ocean view. I am so glad that we made a right choice!! I could not think of any place with a better view than this, several layers of mountains, gorgeous view of Coral Bay glowing with green, blue, purple color of the ocean when sun comes out. Every morning after wake-up, my favorite moment is sitting on the chair of the balcony, seeing the stunning beauty given by nature, enjoying the touch of mountain breeze and listening to the sound called by roosters, dogs or goats. Just by sitting there, the vacation begins. We went to different beaches every day and did snorkeling every day. We went to Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Lameshur Bay and Cinnamon Bay. Each one has beautiful view. Trunk Bay is probably the most beautiful one, but we love the snorkeling at Maho Bay. The water is calm there and you can see fish at spots very close to the beach. We saw lots of different fish and sea turtle there. The most interesting experience was seeing thousands of small fish swimming near you. When you made some noise, they would change the direction all at the same time. The fish at Lameshur was not as many as those at Maho, but we saw big Sting Ray and a three-fee long Barracudas. A fun experience there was that a tiny yellow-skin fish swam under our chest, following us everywhere. We stopped she stopped, we swam and she swam until we got on the beach. How lovely! It was amazing to be around with the little creatures. Driving along the north shore route 20, you can see many other bay almost every other couple minutes. We also saw Hawksnest Bay, Salomon Bay, Cruz Bay at St John and St Thomas Bay when we got back to St Thomas. All are beautiful, but my mother-in-law always said the place we stayed has the best view, haha...I would highly recommend Pink Horses!! And thank you Terri, for all the helpful information for our trip, and for building such a beautiful villa at such a beautiful place!!! That is the very first reason we had a GREAT experience."

  • Great place to stay!

"Our 10th trip to Anguilla and we have found our new home. The Penthouse is spacious and comfortable with panoramic views of the Atlantic. Overlooking Shoal Bay East, one of the most beautiful of the many stunning beaches on the island, the location is a bit out of the way but nothing is too far away on Anguilla. You need a car anyway (unless you stay stuck in a hotel) so here you are closer to the east end and a little further from the west. The kitchen has just enough equipment to cook basic meals; the wall of French doors letting in the breeze and the open floor plan give the whole place an airy feel. The deck is spectacular at all times of day. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. We hope to be back soon!"

  • Wonderful Vacation!

"We spent a week in this condo in early October. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children. We rented the full space as a 2 bedroom condo. It worked perfect for us! The kids used the pull out murphy beds in the living room. The murphy beds were very easy to pull up and down so we could utilize the full living room during the day. The condo was clean, well equipped and suited all of our needs. The small fosters market across the street was perfect to pick up any last minutes grocery needs. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and helpful! The swimming pools were great too! Since we were there during the off season, we had the pools to ourselves most of the time! The drinks at the beach bar were delicious! We loved the peace and quiet that came with staying on the East End. We also spent sometime in West Bay (1 hour), 7-Mile Beach, Georgetown (40 min) and Rum Point (15 min), which were an easy car ride away! We were a little surprised when we walked down to the beach bar and asked if we could order a snack around 9:30pm, and were told that the closest place to get food this time of night was 45 minutes away....o well, up to the room for mac and cheese! There was also some random things we missed out on because they were not happening this time of year like the Sunday brunch at Tukka, the Barefoot man at The Reef, and the beach party at Kaibo. But we easily found ways to replace these events! This was our first time in Cayman so we did a lot of running around. We spent a day at Rum Point, did the bioluminescence tour, horseback riding, swimming with the dolphins, a full day plus a couple partial days at 7-mile Beach. All were fabulous experiences and I would recommend them to anyone! But we are looking forward to our next trip to Cayman where we can relax at the Reef Resort much more!"
