  • Tropical luxury!

"What a wonderful place to stay! It is just as described and even better than the pictures show. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, and we had just about every nicety that we have at home. The kitchen was decked out as described and even had things like ice trays and a cooler (wasn't expecting that). The grounds were beautiful and all the staff were accommodating and friendly. The beach was practically deserted and gave it a real private feel. Seafood Paradise was a great little restaurant just a short stroll down the beach. Swimming wasn't all that great because of lots of shallow coral, but fine for wading/floating/lounging on the soft sand in-between the coral, not to mention just relaxing on the beach. There are several beaches close by that have even better beaches and great swimming. We highly recommend Macao beach which is just a 5 min drive east. Don't even waste your time with Bavaro beach, or you'll be like us and just realize you made the right choice with Uvero Alto! Highly recommend renting a car. Don't let the Google search of driving in the DR scare you. The city of Higuey was the only crazy driving, but I'm adventurous and thought it was a rush, kinda fun too! If you decide to do one of the island excursions to Catalina or Saona, you can hire a boat for a fraction of the cost right in Bayahibe without booking ahead of time. I could go on and on about how much fun we had, but you'll just have to find out for yourself! Check our guest book entry for even more recommendations. Wish we didn't have to leave!"

  • Awesome property and great management !!

"I spent five days and this property and everything was beyond what I expected. This was my first time renting a home in the Caribbean. From the initial contact, working the property manager was very good experience. She was extraordinary in helping me through the process and was reachable during the entire stay. Transfers to and from the airport were arranged and were prompt and reliable. The house itself was very comfortable everything was as the pictures show. The house sits on a beautiful golf course but yet it is still peaceful enough to enjoy quiet time by the pool. The property is conveniently located walking distance from a nearby mall that has a grocery store, some boutique shops, and a well know chain restaurant. The golf club house also has a restaurant. The beaches are not far but I would suggest renting a vehicle to make accessing them more convenient. This rental is perfect for anyone that wants to stay away from the crowds at the resorts, but it centrally located were everything can be reached in a short drive. The only drawbacks I can mention are that there is a lot of new construction in the immediate area, which can at times get a bit noisy."

  • Luxury Living In A Gated Community

"From the time I arrived to the time I left the property manager Juan Carlos made sure I had everything I needed. He arranged airport pick up & drop off. Once I was at the condo I was wowed by the property from the landscaping to the pool maintenance, the up keep was stellar. The condo itself was even better than buildings exterior. The owner of this condo took no shortcuts furnishing this place. From the cherrywood dining room table to the white linen sofa. I mean it look l was the only person to sit on the sofa. There wasn't one mark or sign of wear & tear. I sat out on the terrace every night sipping wine listening to noting but the sounds of nature. This place is peaceful & serene! The pictures posted don't do this place justice. This condo is much larger than it appears in pictures. I'm already planning my next trip back & guess where I'll be staying!!!"

  • A perfect slice of tropical paradise!

"We were looking for a beachfront location to spend some vacation time with our family: 3 grown children and spouses. We looked at several locations but this Condo fit the bill perfectly. From the moment we reserved the unit, the owners were helpful with informing us about lots of details. Then they connected us with the concierge service which helped us with airport transfers etc. When we arrived and walked into the unit we were immediately impressed with the view, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the condo. The entire unit is furnished to perfection. From the Bose surround sound to the furniture in each part of the condo. The bedrooms were awesome, beds and pillows were very comfortable, even the bath towels were soft and awesome! The pictures on the site are accurate but in person the unit is so much more impressive. Then we moved outside, the pools and beach were just steps away. There were plenty of chairs, umbrellas at the pool. There was never an issue with finding a chair or shade at the beach either. The staff was attentive and moved furniture as needed when we were outside. The vistas are amazing from all angles. Lots of sea life near the edges of the cove. We were traveling with our adult children and their spouses and the fact that each bedroom was a suite with its own bathroom was priceless. Everyone had their own private space. Yet there was great spaces for us to be together for family time, card games and socializing. We also spent a day at Caleton Beach Club which was a hit with the family. Lots of waves on that beach, and it provided some great water time. We loved our time at Cap Cana and for sure will return and use this most amazing condo again."
