  • Great experience!!

"The house, staff, amenities and facilities are just as advertised. The house is easy to get to and is very clean. Marta (the cook/cleaning lady) was very helpful and friendly. You need to bring your own food and drinks to the house in order for her to prepare what you need, and if she doesn't know how to cook it, she's very willing to learn. We had some blackouts, but the inverter they have in the house makes all electric appliances keep working, so you don't even feel it. Water heater worked well. There are good restaurants just a few miles close to the house, as well as small convenience stores for stuff you forget to bring. The pool is very clean and has good temperature. The beach also has a nice feel to it, but the beginning of it is really rocky, so water slippers are recommended. There's plenty of space for big groups to spread in the house and around the property. We were a party of 11 (including children) and everyone felt comfortable and had a blast. The house has cable and it has many channels available, however, most of them are in Spanish. The house has wifi, but it can get slow if two or more computers try to connect at the same time. The owner was always very responsive to our questions before, during and after the trip, very friendly and reliable. Electricity is paid separate from the cost of the house and depends on how much you spend during your stay (we spent about US$ 50 for 3 nights and 4 days). I would recommend this place 100%!"

  • Beautiful Beachfront!

"Our extended family of 10 enjoyed a week in this fabulous beachfront property! The house is gorgeous and directly on the beach. It is in a gated community with 24 hour security. The manager, Mark, was very helpful in answering questions and making our arrival seamless. On windy days, the beach is loaded with kiters and windsurfers from about 11am on...not good for swimming. However, morning boogie boarding was great and on low wind days the swimming was perfect! The beach is clean fine sand where you can walk out quite a ways before it gets too deep. We hired a cook for the week, Illuminada. She was wonderful and arranged though Mark. She prepared some delicious local dishes that we enjoyed tremendously. Ana cleans the house daily which was great considering all the sand we trekked in. Manuel did a great job cleaning the pool and the grounds. The house itself was in great condition. There are four bedrooms (two bedrooms with queens, one bedroom with 2 queens and one bedroom with 4 bunks). It was clean and well cared for. The only trouble we had was with the dishwasher and one of the air conditioning units...which were a plus for sleeping! The pool was perfect for the kids...age 12 and under. It is an easy walk to downtown Cabarete...a great spot for lunch or dinner. We kited, windsurfed, paddle boarded, zip lined, visited the monkeys, visited the local school with donations, jumped off waterfalls, went fishing, body surfed, built sandcastles, swam and walked for miles! It's a wonderful vacation destination!!!"

  • AMAZING

"This home is a Dream!!!! from the moment you walk into the home you are greeted by three Magnificent People, Thelma, Elias and Carlos...they went out of their way to always please us. The house is meticulously maintained, The bedrooms were Incredibly beautiful, there is so much open spaces in this house and places to relax, you never feel cramped, ALways Hot Water, Air conditioned in the rooms, and the media room were so cold, you had to cover yourself...the house is a 3 minute golf cart ride to the Minitas Beach, a 15-20 minute drive to Altos De Chavon, on your Golf Cart, you dont feel the ride, because the views going to Altos is beautiful. Chef Kendy and his Sous Chef Carlos were amazing...Food was actually superior than to the restaurant we experienced one night...we all were in agreement that the food was a 5 star restaurant experience at the home. The security of the Resort is A PLUS, we had no insecurities what so ever about leaving any of our personal belongings laying around. There is a safe in each room to keep your valuables if you choose to do so. ALl of our IPADs, Phones, and Laptops were all laying around at all times. and Nothing was missing. WE ALL LOVED this house. We are definitely planning to go back next year. Thank you Maree and your incredible staff for a Magical vacation. Please let Thelma and Elias know we miss them dearly!!!!"

  • A Week in Paradise!

"The Villa at Los Corales turned out to be much more than the pictures and description provided. The Villa was immaculate upon our arrival and was maintained daily by Morena, a very trustworthy, gracious, and courteous maid. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with all essential cooking supplies. All amenities (air conditioning, satellite television, bottled water, beach towels and coolers, etc.) were provided and available in working order. The villa offered all the comforts of home away from home at no additional or hidden cost/charge. The palm trees, tropical plants, and lush flora on the grounds surrounding the Villa were beautifully manicured, and the communal pool was very clean and refreshing after a long day at the white, pristine private beach. The beach attendant, Gabino, was very attentive and made sure that our lounge chairs were strategically placed under the palapa upon our daily arrival at the beach. The taxi driver, Chicho, was very pleasant to deal with and punctual. Everything as described in the VRBO listing was absolutely true about this beautiful and relaxing vacation spot. If your desire is to escape the busy city life and pamper yourself in a scenic, relaxing, and tranquil environment, this should be your destination choice. We would not hesitate to return again. Many thanks to Brad and family for all the travel tips and literature and for sharing their vacation Villa!"
