  • An amazing time in Casa de Campo

"I have traveled to the Dominican Republic many times and have to say this is one of the best times I have had. The villa is amazing, very tropical with lots of outdoor space allowing a nice breeze throughout the house. The bedrooms had air conditioning and hot water, which was very important for us. Annie, the owner, was extremely pleasant and great to deal with. Always answering e-mails and phone calls during the booking process. The best thing about our stay was the staff. Not only great people, but just top notch service. They were so accommodating, warm and friendly that they felt like family. The meals were absolutely amazing. We had made from scratch ropa vieja, a real Dominican breakfast every morning with fresh juices and the BEST desserts ever! Homemade oreo cheesecake and coconut flan. Yum!!! Overall I would highly recommend staying at Annie's villa. A memorable experience in every way!"

  • Great Location

"This cozy apartment is in a great location, you can walk to multiple restaurants, corner and grocery stores; very close to the heart of the Colonial Zone but just good enough away from the crowded streets. It gives you a good culture experience of Santo Domingo living culture. The two bedrooms are cozy; the living room and kitchen are a nice size with a Dominican culture feel to it. The area is very safe and has good parking if you rent a vehicle. The apartment is located behind a locked gate like a gated community which was very comforting. Overall for the price, location, and size this was a great clean apartment to stay in and I would recommend it; especially for frequent travelers to the Dominican Republic. The owners are great and helped us with everything we needed and they know English well. Thanks again Mr. Odalis for everything we enjoyed our stay, the food you cooked for us, your conversation and great hospitality; we will see you soon."

  • Wonderful home away from home!

"We stayed here in 2012 for a month. This year (2014) we returned for another month. It was a comfortable, clean apartment in 2012 and this year it was even better with the improvements that Tom, the owner, has done. We enjoy our time on the beach...only minutes away...and our time in the pool. The numerous restaurants and bars in Costambar are excellent serving Dominican, Canadian, Italian and German fare at reasonable prices. We ate most breakfasts and some dinners at the apartment but eating out is so reasonable we took advantage of being spoiled. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking equipment and the local corner store is very accommodating if you choose to eat all of your meals in. The apartment and property is very clean and well maintained by Myrium and management."

  • GREAT CABARETE SPOT TO STAY

"My wife and I were staying in Sosua at a place we were thinking of moving from when by chance we were invited by people in the same complex to join them to have a look at Playa Ventosa in Cabarete, they were looking at it for a 2015 rental. We were happy to join them because we had not been to Cabarete and we figured this would be a good time to see Cabarete, we were very happy with what we saw. Cabarete has a very nice vibe and Playa Ventosa was a very nice complex, I would go as far as to say Playa Ventosa is a higher end complex. When we returned to Sosua we emailed Pam to have her put us on a wait list for a 2015 2 month rental, at the same time I asked if by any chance she had a unit that she could rent to us now, luckily for us she just had a cancelation and said we could move there in a few days, we jumped at the opportunity. We have traveled to many Caribbean islands and stayed in Jamaica 15 times and have never stayed in a complex or a unit that was as nice as this one. We stayed at Playa Ventosa for 25 nights and really liked it there, the unit, the staff, the owners and other renters were all great The complex is close to everything so there is no need to rent a car. There is wind in this area of the north coast almost all of the time, if I was being picky I would say that sometimes the strong winds can get to be to much to take. During our stay we viewed several other complexes to see how they compared, they didn't. We were lucky enough to book a unit for 2 months in 2015 and 2016, we like it at Playa Ventosa very much and can't wait to return."
