"We rented this villa for 18 people and had such a peaceful, wonderful experience. I equate it to renting out a small resort and not having to share it with others. You get personal attention from the wonderful Ariel Perez who is there to answer any and all questions you may have. He is an extremely friendly and genuine man that values customer service and ensures the guests are comfortable. The customer facing staff is amazing. Chef Ozzy makes sure to gather your input about meals and will execute your menu flawlessly. The wait staff of Raymundo and Ramos are attentive, extremely polite, and fun. The staff was engaging and made an effort to get to know us. The back office staff always ensured we had fresh towels and toiletries and that rooms were always clean. We have absolutely no complaints about the staff, genuinely appreciated their efforts and company. Honestly, the staff is great, but the best part is really the villa. It literally is a small resort. The pool is big and deep. Great for swimming and floating around. There is a kiddie pool which is also quite large, but no one spent any time in it. The hot tub is AMAZING. Grab a couple of beers and some good company and you can waste away the night looking at the stars, listening to the ocean, and talking story. The property is on the ocean, and only a 5, sometimes 10 foot jump away. Be daring, the ocean looks rough, but it's not as bad as it looks. The tennis court is great and has night lights. The veranda is where everyone spends so much time and is a perfect area for meals and lounging. It's a treat to live like this, even only for just a few day. We were luckily enough to spend time with friends and family in this wonderful place. It's a place we would love to visit again, and one we regret having to leave. Cheers to Deena, Ariel, and the entire staff for the wonderful hospitality."

  • Absolutely Incredible!

"I can truly say that this property, from the initial contact with Frank down the check-out is one of kind. Frank, the owner displays this property accurately and there were no hidden surprises. His responses are timely and even checks on you throughout the stay to ensure that you are enjoying yourselves. The staff; security, maintenance, and maid service are readily available and as friendly as it gets. The WiFi worked great and the property was very clean. The six of us, all in the service industry, travel frequently and would recommend Villa Flamingo and Cabarete to anyone. I read a lot of reviews (not on Villa Flamingo) about Cabarete and surrounding areas being unsafe. We rented a car and traveled to a couple random beaches in San Juan as well as Sosua and not once did we feel unsafe. These little cities/towns are beautiful destinations with a culture one should experience. In terms of tours, we did the waterfalls and atvs. You can do a tour of 7, 12, or 27 waterfalls. We decided to go with 12 and paid an additional $40US to have a tour guide video our experience (well worth the money with a USB provided after). The tour took about three hours with lunch after and a bottle a rum was provided on our trip there. We did a private tour and it cost us about $70US/person. You can negotiate the price, but if you don't then I would suggest using Frank's recommended guide Jose. The ATV tour is located about 100 yards down the street from Villa Flamingo. Again, we weren't the best negotiators and paid about $60/person for a four hour tour. The tour goes on the main street, through a few small towns, up into the farms, and ended on the beach. First time on an atv, don't be alarmed, the guides are helpful and this tour is definitely well worth it. In terms of Cabarete, this town has about twenty little bars and restaurants located on the beach. Spend some time enjoying happy hour and dinner. Lazydog has some of the best fish tacos and Gaia Disco gets pretty busy late at night. They do try and sell you things during happy hour but just kindly say, "no thank you." Be respectful, enjoy the culture, and relax at Villa Flamingo and I can assure you that you won't regret it. Thanks again Frank and staff, From the now snowed in New England crew!"

  • Great Place

"We stayed at the Stanza Mare for a week in March. It was one of our most fabulous vacations. Steve the owner, and Ives the property manager were easy to work with. Ives does an incredible job in making your stay great. I would highly recommend one of Ives excursions, we had a lot of fun and he goes out of his way to make sure that everything goes well. The condo was just as it looks in the pictures, nothing fancy but very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and pool. Everything was clean and you can walk for miles and never find the end of the beach. We felt very safe there, they have security 24 hours a day. We especially liked the security guard named Junior. He worked during the day, he didn't speak English, but we both did our best to communicate. He even came to say goodbye to us on the day we had to leave. We found many good restaurants around the area. Our favorites were Balicana (Asian), Pastrata, DeAngelos Pizzeria, Nam, Nams-they had the best hamburgers. We went to Gary's sports Bar to watch the NCAA basketball games, and the bakery had the most delicious crossiants. We felt very safe there and did a lot of walking, but we also took the local bus to the grocery store one day it cost us around 60 cents. We had a wonderful time and can not wait to go back. It is also good to keep in mind that you are on island time when you are here, so relax and have fun!"

  • Club Residence

"Accommodations were great, close to everything in town and if I needed anything the property manager was very accomdating. I would stay at this property again in future travels. My overall rating would have been all 5 stars if it would not been for the damage deposit almost taking 2 weeks but management told me it a new process and it would be better for future guest."
