"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Pachuco in Las Terrenas! It was a perfect place to get away from the sub-zero temperatures and 8 inches of snow back home. We were there for one week and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Paul was an excellent taxi driver and China kept the house looking great. Isabelle was available if we needed anything. The pictures seen here are a few years old (some of the trees are a lot taller now), but the house still looks just as beautiful. The enclosed grounds were very private and wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The gorgeous beach was just a short walk down the road and we almost had the whole beach to ourselves. We chose Villa Pachuco because my wife is in a wheelchair and the house is very spacious and open. She could get around the grounds and the lower level of the house very well, although the door openings to the bathrooms were too narrow for her wheelchair. Also, the sink and shower area in the lower bedroom was a tight fit so she could not reach them (but she could reach the sink in the kitchen). The road to the beach was extremely rough. I was able to push her down it the 200 yards to the beach, but it was a chore. Overall, it was a perfect trip. We would definitely go back again and hopefully take some of our family with us."Guest: Mike W. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 13, 2014View listing
"In the space available here, I cannot begin to share all the great things about our stay with Sunrise Villa. Kevin & Chris were incredibly helpful with our preparations prior to arrival. Chris, Ramon, Sandy and the rest of the staff were incredible. They went above and beyond to insure we had a trip to remember. Meals were designed to cater to our dietary needs and our schedule. Our group has lasting memories spanning 3 generations. We are already planning our next visit! My daughter's 11th birthday was a true celebration complete with a great dinner, cake, local bands and a bonfire on the beach. One night Ramon brought the bar to us as we sat out on the cliffs to watch the Delta Aquarid meteor shower. The passion fruit mojitos were a big hit too! Several of us enjoyed massages, manicures and pedicures on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, listening to the waves crash below. Our dinner out at La Catalina, with a great bar and incredible view, was fantastic. Then we headed to Manny's bar located oceanfront in downtown Cabrera. Fun, fun night. Our day at Playa Grande was a blast. I'm not a beach person, so when I say I not only stayed all day, but I went back to the villa to fetch more Presidente and a couple guests that had stayed behind, it means something. Monkey Jungle is a worthwhile trip 1.5 hours towards Peurto Plata. Especially knowing that you're supporting the Dental Clinic mission serving Haitians and Dominicans. From the minute we arrived, we felt truly welcome. As we left, we felt that we would be truly missed. As for our group, I know we had a great time visiting with life-long friends, making new friends, and celebrating life at Sunrise Villa!"Guest: Conley B. "My wife and I stayed in this property for 2 weeks. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for. We were pleasently surprised to find the condo supplied with everything you could possibly need. Large patio with BBQ was a plus. Easy access to pools/beach. Nice restaurants a few steps away. Owner and property manager were both very helpful and responsive. Great choice for a stay in the Punta Cana/Bavaro area."Guest: Jeff Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 4, 2014View listing
"We (husband/wife) had a splendid holiday for 6 days while in Punta Cana. The condo was comfortable and perfect for our needs - quiet, right on the beach, and next to some phenomenal food. It was a little piece of paradise and we enjoyed our stay there immensely. Marianna (owner) was a pleasure to work with and communication was flawless during the process. Further, Lana (property manager) was excellent. She showed us around and was great to interact with during our stay when we needed her (which was for rides to/from the airport and once more to/from the Dreams Resort for a wedding). We felt like the place was home away from home and treated it as such. It was great to have markets nearby, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture, internet, tv, etc. The beach was beautiful and not crowded in front of the property. Gorgeous, safe, fun, comfortable, and relaxing --- the perfect vacation!"Guest: Anup G. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 16, 2014View listing
