  • Gonzalez family

"Beautiful! First time for our family in the dominican. Phyllis (owner) was very helpful to me in the planning stages. Paulo picked us up at the airport & stopped at the grocery, even helped me navigate the store. My Spanish is minimal. After this trip my husband said that he would never stay in hotels again! We did rent a car with the help of the concierge 2buildings away. Ver safe gated community. Navigating is very easy, I was able to drive and navigate to downtown punta Cana @15 minute drive. Very quiet & peaceful. Restaurants a on property very good. Excellent restaurant int property right next door! All & all we had a fabulous time and def will be back again!"

  • Breathtaking!

"We have spent a wonderful time in walrus. Activities including Tennis - I have lost all the sets, but it was worth it! Surfing - The waves were perfect for beginners there is a surf school next door. Relaxed atmosphere and the food was just wonderful - highly recommend This feeling that you don’t have to worry about anything meanwhile you listen to the sounds of the ocean - priceless. Every room has its own theme and the whole building is constructed with the “Asterix and Obelix” keyword…love it!"

  • Relaxing Vacation

"Beautiful home with contemporary furnishings and a home movie theater for extra relaxation. Great wifi so I didn't skip a beat with work. Ingrid the maid was fantastic, world class service. The pool was amazing gets very warm in the summer months but it allowed us to stay in the pool for hours. Very secure property. The owner Bruce was great to work with. The Sea Horse Ranch is a definite for my next travels."

  • Can we please please please come back?

"One week of bliss. It was exactly what we were looking for and very much as described on VRBO. It was the first time in a long time that I (we) felt absolutely relaxed from the moment we checked-in and dropped our bags. The condo is so perfectly situated that you could literally sit on the porch all day every day and be perfectly satisfied with the view, the sound of the surf, and the scent of the sea. We spent 90% of either on the porch, at the pool, or on the beach. Here's what (we think) you need to know: 1) This property is very remote. Do not plan on having a lot do without getting in a car or a taxi. We rented a car. And if you are very much an all-inclusive resorts kind of group, this place is NOT for you. This is all about island-time, baby. 2) While the Seafood Paradise is lovely (we went twice), you'll want to be thoughtful about meals. There's not much more around the place at this point. It's easy to get to Punta Cana, though, if you have a car. And we heard the private cook is awesome (we heard doing it earlier in the week makes most sense because of the leftovers). 3) The grocery store in Punta Cana is great - if you have a shopping list before hand, you'll be more successful. 4) Expect to pay at least as much for dinner in the DR as you would in the US. Food is not cheap at restaurants. 5) The property is very safe; well protected, and well staffed; Raphael and Marcia will really really take care of you. 6) There isn't much of an oven in this unit. A larger toaster oven is what we would call it. We did successfully roast a cut-up chicken in it, though. 7) US Dollars are taken almost everywhere. I think you get a better deal, though, when you pay in DR Pesos. 8) We zip-lined with Canopy Tours one morning...and loved it! 9) There are 30 units on the property and from what we understood, only 6 of them are rented to outsiders. The rest are owners. We were there in late November and were the only people at the beach and pool 99% of the time. 10) Our daughters are 11 and 9 and loved it. We will be back...for sure!"
