So, so wonderful in all ways, Hibiscus Villa and Grenada
"My husband and I felt so welcomed, comfortable and at home at Hibiscus Villa; we just completed a 2 week stay at this lovely, well-maintained/loved and perfectly located home. The views, open-air living between interior and patio/pool area was perfect. We had no problem at all with biting insects or any other undesirables. Very private yet safely located in a neighborhood that is friendly and helpful for visitors. I walk a lot and met folks who were warm and welcoming, from the service people that maintain the properties to the residents themselves. A walk to Fort Jeudy Point at sunset is a must and the tiny beach at the end of the road is delightful for a private moment/swim. The pickup at the airport (12 midnight after a plane malfunction) was prompt and the house manager met us at the villa at that outrageous hour to show us the details. Our rental car from Y & R Rentals delivered the car at 9:00AM the next morning. While driving is not for the weak-kneed in Grenada, a car offers the flexibility to appreciate the wonderment of Grenada. So beautiful in its environment and its inhabitants. Grenadiens are warm, helpful and most of all genuine; but they do not "cater" to us tourists, we blend into their culture and life style; how refreshing we found that after experiencing the more touristy islands. The food is delightful and varied.
Lastly, the rental process was so efficient. One deals directly with Mary, the builder/owner of Hibiscus Villa. She is responsive, wide-ranging in her knowledge of Grenada and travel issues and very accommodating. Booking and experiencing this villa was exceptionally easy with her involvement.
Bottom line...we loved Grenada and we absolutely recommend HV. Given the other reviews like ours, one should probably book early! Thank you Mary and Marc."

"On our arrival, it was clear that the photographs, though accurate, in no way capture the beauty of the bay or the villa. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and more and were able to enjoy splendid evenings out on the veranda and inside too. There was ample room by the pool for soaking up the sun and also resting in the shade. The gardens were beautiful and the breeze carried with it the scent of nutmeg and fragrant flowers.
We traveled off season and so there was rain, but although torrential on occasions, lasted for only a few minutes and the sun came out as quickly as the rain started! It was really magnificent watching storm clouds travel towards us and disappear into the distance.
The housekeeper was lovely, she seemed to know what we might need even before we did and was available to offer help and ideas at any time.
We had an amazing time in and around Granada. The restaurants were fantastic and the people were very friendly. The Beach House restaurant offered beautiful views, and beach to stroll along and amazing food. The restaurant at Calabash Resort (Gary Rhodes) had a steel band, humorous but excellent waiters and food that was some of the best we have ever eaten. Sunday at the 'Aquarium was also an experience - barbecued fish or meat served at a beach side table was accompanied by music and to our delight the emergence of a hundred baby turtles making their way to the sea!
We enjoyed the experiences of diving or snorkeling with the help of friendly knowledgeable and helpful trainers.
All in all an amazing holiday which we would highly recommend.
Just a note.. insect repellant a must!"

"We enjoyed our first visit to Inside Out in December 2013 so much we just had to return. Our second visit even more enjoyable than our first.
Ellen and Stewart the perfect hosts, their garden is a provider of glorious tropical fruits it was our luck that when we stayed passion fruits and other fruits were in abundance and available for us to enjoy every day. PERFECT.
I am not going to say any more as I have said it all before in my previous reviews and also just in case too many discover this gem that when we wish to make our next visit Inside Out is already booked!!!
Thank you again Ellen and Stewart, and so pleased that naughty Crystal and Alpha found their way back."
