  • Enjoyed every moment of our stay

"We could not have asked for a more comfortable stay. We found the home in excellent condition both in 2013 and 2015. Everything from the updated kitchen, new washer and dryer, comfortable patio furniture, grill, sofa, and lovely new art. All of the beds in each of the four bedrooms are very comfortable and the linens are like new. We could not get enough of the view and refreshing breezes. We have done extensive research before both of our visits to Vieques and the quality and comfort of this home is by far the best on the island. You will pay at least double if not triple the cost for a home with the same amenities, cleanliness, comfort and proximity to the best beaches, shops, and restaurants. The property owner Margot was very friendly, helpful, and great to make arrangements with. The property managers Michele and Damien were also extremely kind and accommodating. We enjoyed visiting with them and all of the tips about the area and places to eat that they suggested. We felt right at home. This was our 2nd stay at Casa Dulce Sueno and we hope to return to Vieques again and would definitely stay at Casa Dulce Sueno."

  • Vacation at Ocean Mist Condos

"Our family just stayed at the 2 bedroom next door to this one. It was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. We were no more than 15 minutes from anywhere on the island. The owners and management were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and will recommend this place any time."

  • Amazing View. Perfect for a Family Vacation

"This spacious apartment was perfect for our Christmas Vacation. We had our two college aged sons and 8 month old daughter. We loved that it was stocked with tons of things (including a crib) for the little one. You can not beat the views and it is within striking distance to enjoy both Aguadilla, Jobos and Rincon Beaches. Having the infinity pool to enjoy after a day at the beach was a huge plus! We would definitely recommend this condo."

Grenada Travel Tips

Getting to Grenada Vacation Rentals

The Point Salines International Airport is located on the southwestern tip of Granada. Most flights in and out of the country are from neighboring Caribbean islands and South and Central America. A handful of international airlines operate direct flights to Grenada from the United States and Europe. If you cannot find a direct flight from your home destination, you may consider routing via Trinidad or Barbados. In season, there is typically a higher flight frequency and it is advisable to make your flight reservations well in advance as direct flights do get booked up very quickly. Once on the island, it is fairly easy to get around. Taxis operate in the main towns and provide airport transfers. Buses offer an affordable way to get around Grenada and operate daily. The local information office will be able to provide you with more information on routes and schedules. There are many car rental agencies on Grenada and this is possibly one of the best options if you want to explore the island sights independently. The roads are generally easy to navigate and maps can be obtained from the rental agencies or the local information office. There is also a ferry service that runs between the main towns on the island.

Best Time of Year to Visit Grenada Villas

Grenada enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Summer months can get very hot; toward the end of the season, tropical storms can blow through. The peak travel season is December through April when the temperatures are milder and the weather is drier.

Activities Available at Grenada Resort Rentals

Grenada is a destination with a wealth of natural attractions. The beautiful beaches are one of the islands big draw cards. Spend your days relaxing on the soft sands and watching the passing crowds. There are many excellent restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy a meal or late afternoon cocktail. Grenada has immaculate coral reefs which are ideal for diving or snorkeling. Enjoy an afternoon cruise on a luxury yacht and stop for a snorkel along the way. Dive charter companies offer dive excursions for certified divers. The diving conditions are some of the best in the Caribbean. Great visibility, warm water temperatures and moderate ocean currents make for a relaxing and enjoyable diving environment. The reefs are spectacular. Colorful hard and soft corals are home to masses of reef fish. On deeper wall dives, you may see some pelagic, turtles, rays and wrasse. Yachting is a favorite pastime and there are many boat charter companies offering cruises as well.

On the island itself, you can keep yourself very busy exploring all the natural wonders. The Grand Etang Lake and Forest Reserve is a beautiful natural resource located high up in the island's mountainous interior. The lush forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife including birds, monkeys, frogs and lizards. The lake is one of the few high altitude lakes in the Caribbean and spectacularly beautiful. There are many different hiking trails that range from a short 30-minute loop to longer day hikes. There are several sporting facilities on Grenada. You can enjoy a game of tennis or round of golf at the Granada Golf and Country Club.
