  • Incredible Views and Hospitality!

"We rented both of Lee's units over the holidays and we cannot say enough good things about her or the property. Everything was clean, kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals if you want. She even provided coolers and beach chairs! We really loved the large screened in porches. Note: You will definitely need a car as she lives on a large hill over looking Cruz Bay. She is a wonderful lady and we loved hearing her play the piano when we were coming and going. We have already planned our next trip and we definitely will be staying with her again. Don't pass her up!"

  • A little cottage in a tropical paradise.

"We stayed here for 8 nights and it is quite lovely here! Very lush tropical surroundings, beautiful flowers and a nice breeze. We had everything we needed here, including a blender to make rum smoothies every day (there is a large ice machine, fresh bottled water and washer and dryer in one of the out buildings to use). We enjoyed breakfast one morning out on the back deck listening to the birds. The cottage is extremely clean and welcoming. Plenty of beach towels too, and there is also a large pool with a covered seating area next to it with a water feature closeby that makes a tranquil retreat. We enjoyed playing with the resident dogs. Win is a wealth of information on the island and we appreciated her kindness (including some homemade bush tea). This is a real gem and what a bargain too! We definitely will book a return stay sometime in the future."

  • Beautiful house for a family vacation!

"We visited St. Croix for a family vacation over the Christmas holidays. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. The view of Buck Island was awesome. The house was very clean and the kitchen was better equipped than my kitchen at home! The house was large enough that the family could hang out together comfortably or spread out for some privacy. It is convenient to Christiansted but far enough out to be quiet and secluded. The Griffiths were very gracious hosts, and were willing to work with us when we ran into a couple of traveling snafus. I hope we can go back again some day. Highly recommended!!"

  • Best Location on Paradise Island!!

"This is by far the best location on paradise island. The walk to Atlantis and the casino is only 5 minutes and the beach and beautiful ocean is right out the back door. Between 9:00am and 3:00pm there are many people on the beach from the cruise ships but VERY few venture down to this part of the beach. Standing on the deck you can look to the left and see all of the visitors but the beach behind the villa and to right is left pretty much alone. The sand is soft and the water is absolutely gorgeous. We go to the beach often, usually in the Carolinas and you don't spend a tremendous amount of time in the water there due to the rough surf. Here, you can literally stay in the water for hours as there was little surf and the temp is like warm bath water. During the day there are many vendors with Jet Skis, Parasailing, Banana Boat Rides, Massage Tents, Drink Stations, Chairs and Umbrellas. They all stay pretty much to the left the villas but are close enough to grab if you want to use any of their services. They are not aggressive at all with their services. Violas is great and most of the other restaurants on paradise island and just over the bridge in Nassau are only a few minutes away by Taxi. Anthony's is a great restaraunt within a few minute walk from the villa. The villa was much better than expected with multiple refridgerators, ample sitting space, a wonderful deck. The pools were very nice and clean but we actually never used them. We rarely saw any of the neighbors. It was like having the entire complex to yourself. Audrey was absolutely wonderful. I don't think you can find a better place for the price anywhere!"

Grenada Travel Tips

Getting to Grenada Vacation Rentals

The Point Salines International Airport is located on the southwestern tip of Granada. Most flights in and out of the country are from neighboring Caribbean islands and South and Central America. A handful of international airlines operate direct flights to Grenada from the United States and Europe. If you cannot find a direct flight from your home destination, you may consider routing via Trinidad or Barbados. In season, there is typically a higher flight frequency and it is advisable to make your flight reservations well in advance as direct flights do get booked up very quickly. Once on the island, it is fairly easy to get around. Taxis operate in the main towns and provide airport transfers. Buses offer an affordable way to get around Grenada and operate daily. The local information office will be able to provide you with more information on routes and schedules. There are many car rental agencies on Grenada and this is possibly one of the best options if you want to explore the island sights independently. The roads are generally easy to navigate and maps can be obtained from the rental agencies or the local information office. There is also a ferry service that runs between the main towns on the island.

Best Time of Year to Visit Grenada Villas

Grenada enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Summer months can get very hot; toward the end of the season, tropical storms can blow through. The peak travel season is December through April when the temperatures are milder and the weather is drier.

Activities Available at Grenada Resort Rentals

Grenada is a destination with a wealth of natural attractions. The beautiful beaches are one of the islands big draw cards. Spend your days relaxing on the soft sands and watching the passing crowds. There are many excellent restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy a meal or late afternoon cocktail. Grenada has immaculate coral reefs which are ideal for diving or snorkeling. Enjoy an afternoon cruise on a luxury yacht and stop for a snorkel along the way. Dive charter companies offer dive excursions for certified divers. The diving conditions are some of the best in the Caribbean. Great visibility, warm water temperatures and moderate ocean currents make for a relaxing and enjoyable diving environment. The reefs are spectacular. Colorful hard and soft corals are home to masses of reef fish. On deeper wall dives, you may see some pelagic, turtles, rays and wrasse. Yachting is a favorite pastime and there are many boat charter companies offering cruises as well.

On the island itself, you can keep yourself very busy exploring all the natural wonders. The Grand Etang Lake and Forest Reserve is a beautiful natural resource located high up in the island's mountainous interior. The lush forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife including birds, monkeys, frogs and lizards. The lake is one of the few high altitude lakes in the Caribbean and spectacularly beautiful. There are many different hiking trails that range from a short 30-minute loop to longer day hikes. There are several sporting facilities on Grenada. You can enjoy a game of tennis or round of golf at the Granada Golf and Country Club.
