  • Truly Paradise!!!

"We were hooked from the first moment we arrived on Lubbers and are very excited to be planning our 4th summer vacation at the "Big House"! My family of four will be sharing the "Big House" with another family of four, as we have done several times before. The house is very roomy and has plenty of space for everyone to sleep, eat and just hangout. It has always been very clean and well stocked and we've always had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect with just a short boat ride to many wonderful restaurants and local hangouts; and we always look forward to hanging out and swimming at Tahiti Beach, which is just a few minutes away by boat. It's the perfect place to stay with a large private beach directly in front of the house, private dock, kayaks, and of course the beautiful views! The owners are very pleasant to work with and are very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The "Big House" is true island living and we ALL love being able to "get away", even the teenagers! We can't wait to be back in Paradise!"

  • Nothing better than opening up the door out to the awesome beach!

"This is our third time staying at Sapphire beach and this was the best unit by far. Had stayed at 2nd floor units before and well worth the extra money to be steps away from beach. It's the most beautiful sight to wake up to in the mornings. The beach is clean and beautiful. Love the snorkeling. It's minutes from everything. We never drive while on vacation and cab service is awesome and extremely friendly. Owner is a complete doll and very helpful, I highly recommend this lovely unit."

  • A Must have experience!

"Being a Jamaican at work and hearing the expats talking about vacationing at the hotels and villas on the north coast it became an item on my Annie’s List (similar to a Bucket List) to spend a weekend in the country with my 3 children. By surprise from my cousin, I was able to spend a well relaxed and awesome weekend at Serendipity. Being in the atmosphere I was stress free and well comfortable sleeping in a beautifully furniture bedroom and spending time by the pool side with the children just relaxing and enjoying the cool north coast breeze. While I was enjoying nature and the conversations with other guests, I was pampered by the staff members beyond my expectations. Mr. Garnett the butler and Ms. Ruby the cook were very polite and hospitable. The children and I enjoyed every meal served and this was concurred by my daughter’s comments “Mommy the food is so nice, I cannot stop eating it”. Without a doubt I cannot wait for my next visit and if you haven’t gone as yet, this experience is a must have. Annie…."

  • Luquillo Penthouse

"Where to begin... First off thank you to Vanessa and Victor. The condo is truly amazing. Clean, everything working, AWESOME views from every window! Our family of 5 did not have any space problems. Our 15 year old son even wanted to sleep on the balcony the first night. Lol. He was very excited like the rest of us. Our two younger sons (ages 11 and 8) also enjoyed our time there. The week went by too fast and here I am back to work tomorrow Monday :( Ahh, we miss the clear blue/azure ocean. Everything we read from others reviewers about activities, restaurants, etc is all true. Vanessa even provided two detailed PDF documents with what to do and where to eat. Very helpful. This place is safe, clean, and we are thinking of coming back. What else can I say? Our first three nights we did not us the AC. Spectacular breezes and a bit cooler for the season was the reason. I enjoyed it. Wife wanted AC on fourth night, so I am happy :P THANK YOU Vanessa and Victor for your excellent place. Real deal."

Grenada Travel Tips

Getting to Grenada Vacation Rentals

The Point Salines International Airport is located on the southwestern tip of Granada. Most flights in and out of the country are from neighboring Caribbean islands and South and Central America. A handful of international airlines operate direct flights to Grenada from the United States and Europe. If you cannot find a direct flight from your home destination, you may consider routing via Trinidad or Barbados. In season, there is typically a higher flight frequency and it is advisable to make your flight reservations well in advance as direct flights do get booked up very quickly. Once on the island, it is fairly easy to get around. Taxis operate in the main towns and provide airport transfers. Buses offer an affordable way to get around Grenada and operate daily. The local information office will be able to provide you with more information on routes and schedules. There are many car rental agencies on Grenada and this is possibly one of the best options if you want to explore the island sights independently. The roads are generally easy to navigate and maps can be obtained from the rental agencies or the local information office. There is also a ferry service that runs between the main towns on the island.

Best Time of Year to Visit Grenada Villas

Grenada enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Summer months can get very hot; toward the end of the season, tropical storms can blow through. The peak travel season is December through April when the temperatures are milder and the weather is drier.

Activities Available at Grenada Resort Rentals

Grenada is a destination with a wealth of natural attractions. The beautiful beaches are one of the islands big draw cards. Spend your days relaxing on the soft sands and watching the passing crowds. There are many excellent restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy a meal or late afternoon cocktail. Grenada has immaculate coral reefs which are ideal for diving or snorkeling. Enjoy an afternoon cruise on a luxury yacht and stop for a snorkel along the way. Dive charter companies offer dive excursions for certified divers. The diving conditions are some of the best in the Caribbean. Great visibility, warm water temperatures and moderate ocean currents make for a relaxing and enjoyable diving environment. The reefs are spectacular. Colorful hard and soft corals are home to masses of reef fish. On deeper wall dives, you may see some pelagic, turtles, rays and wrasse. Yachting is a favorite pastime and there are many boat charter companies offering cruises as well.

On the island itself, you can keep yourself very busy exploring all the natural wonders. The Grand Etang Lake and Forest Reserve is a beautiful natural resource located high up in the island's mountainous interior. The lush forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife including birds, monkeys, frogs and lizards. The lake is one of the few high altitude lakes in the Caribbean and spectacularly beautiful. There are many different hiking trails that range from a short 30-minute loop to longer day hikes. There are several sporting facilities on Grenada. You can enjoy a game of tennis or round of golf at the Granada Golf and Country Club.
