  • Amazing Vacation Destination

"We had a wonderful vacation at the Hummingbird at Lubbers Quarters. The pictures are great but they do not do it justice! Loved reading on the beach - I was truly relaxed reading on the soft sand beach but we had tons of fun snorkeling/ fishing everyday. Tahiti beach will be greatly missed. Everything we needed (and more) was in the well-equipped kitchen but we also loved heading down to Cracker P's and Lubbers Landing to have some conch and great drinks! We can't wait to come back."

  • YES---Tranquility is Tranquil

"We arrived at Tranquility around 3 pm (from a LONG 2 day cross-country trip from Oregon) and were in the water by 3:10. When we walked in the door we were immediately drawn right through the living room and out to the back porch, toward the beckoning sea. The setting of this delightful beach house is just as pictured, just what the doctor ordered , and absolutely perfect. We spent 2 weeks discovering an island of friendly people, fresh conch, fruity drinks, white sandy beaches, and snorkeling wonders. Loved having 'Hummingbird' our trusty golf-cart, for exploring every by-way, every path, every roadway. Top it off with sleeping in, dining out, reading, relaxing, and meeting new friends and you have the picture. Really a vacation to remember and one to hopefully repeat. Some pointers: Ask Richard or Chris ---the owners--- anything and he will answer---it helps. Take bug spray for the no-see-ems if your the type they bother. Plan to shop local and support the island---the shop keepers all sincerely appreciate it. Do take plenty of cash so you can truly enjoy everything you want.....the entire experience is worth every minute of travel time and every penny of expense!! Tranquility is a treasure."

  • Grande Bay Southern Serenity

"WOW oh WOW!! This was our 1st trip to St. John, and we could not have chosen a more perfect condo! Southern Serenity truly lives up to it's name. The condo over looks Cruz Bay, and the balcony is a perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon sunbathing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living space is very spacious, even the bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved being able to walk everywhere, and were delighted with being located so close to restaurants and shopping yet so private and quiet. Everyone on the property was extremely friendly and helpful, the pool was a perfect alternative to the beach, and the recommendations that you provided for meals and beaches were perfect!! Cannot wait to come back with our extended family. Thank you for providing such a wonderful retreat!"

  • Larry and Diane

"This was our second time to stay in Jose's condo for a wonderful stress free week. Jose is very easy to work with and does everything to provide an enjoyable stay. Miguel met us at the airport with the keys and took care of everything we needed. The view is magnificent and the condo very clean and comfortable. It even smelled good. My husband liked the big screen TV and A/C, although with the ocean front breezes, you don't really need it. We could still hear the roosters every morning and watch the manatees in the ocean. From the 28th floor, ( I repeat) the view is to die for. We went to the historic town of Ponce, El Yunque rainforest, Old San Juan twice, Bacardi Rum Factory, Luquillo Beach and found two new wonderful places to eat. Don't miss going to Las Vistas for breakfast and Don Esteban for lunch or dinner (both in Fajardo and both remarkable). Thanks, Jose. We can't wait to come back :)"
