  • Tranquility

"This was my 9th trip to Puerto Rico for winter vacation, and I have stayed all around the island. My favorite area is the Cabo Rojo area and La Playuela. I stayed with 2 girlfriends and we had a magnificent time. It is in a more remote area, which we loved. You do have to drive everywhere, but everything is close. This was one of the best condos I have stayed in. It was obviously used and loved by the owners, it was so well stocked! I have rented condos where you get a "starter set" which is one roll of toilet paper, and a bar of soap. There was dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, and spices!! The owners left all the important information about the condo and it was stocked with water toys, chairs, and life jackets, and 2 kayaks. The process for checking in and out was easy. We loved being able to see the sunrise from the bedrooms every morning and the sunset from the front deck at night. The breeze was great, we never used a fan or an air conditioner. The furniture and beds were of a better quality than you sometimes get, like real people lived there. It was very quiet, so if you want a lot of action, this may not be the place for you. We loved it. We enjoyed many of the local beaches, and had a great meal at Annie's in Combate, and some drinks at the next door resort, Bahia Salinas. A couple of downsides were that there was a common laundry area that was coin operated, no lounge chairs down by the pool, and the deck was a shared deck with 3 other condos, which was not a problem for us since we were the only ones there. There was no outside eating area. Nevertheless, I would rent this condo again and highly recommend it for others. I give it 5 stars!! Thank you Robert and Mary for sharing your home with us."

  • Rejuvenation close to nature with the comforts of home. It doesn’t get any better than this!

"This year we stayed at Pebble Cove and were so happy to discover this incredible location! The house provided the ideal home for the four of us: spacious, comfortable, great views, amazing sunsets and the sense of living so close to the rhythms of nature. It was easy to forget what day or time it was. All I needed to know was: time for a swim, time to eat or maybe time for a soak in the hot tub. I loved sitting on the deck under the gazebo and looking across the bright blues of Haulover Bay to the land that is all National Park, knowing that it will remain virgin, unspoiled forest. We were able to buy fresh fish from the fisherman in Coral Bay. We also found local honey, papaya, mangos, star fruit and plantains at a small fruit stand in Coral Bay. We also bought fresh greens from Josephine, whose garden center is just down the road from the Love City Market. It was great to see her gardens, a flat area nestled between the hills. This is my fourth trip to St. John and the first time I have seen where she grows her produce. The arugula and mixed greens are great! We walked half mile down the road from Pebble Cove to Vie’s for some West Indian food and then rented her kayak to explore Coral Bay waters. It was fun to get out further and snorkel new areas of the vast bay that East End surrounds. I do wish I had taken my hat! Since we have explored St. John before on our other trips, we didn’t feel compelled to do it all again and mostly stayed on East End and at Pebble Cove. Everything we needed was right there...the lounge chairs on the beach, a hammock, good food, our favorite music, good company, great sunsets, even a few rain showers at night to cool things off. We did eat out at Aqua Bistro in Coral Bay a few times (good!) and had lunch at Sundog when we went to Cruz Bay, but otherwise we were quite content at Pebble Cove. I am carrying home memories of blissfully rocking in that hammock in the shade, listening to the lapping of the water on the shore. We will be back! Thanks, Linda and Allen, for sharing your special place with us."

  • Great villa for a couples trip!

"We spent a week at Villa Paprika with 5 couples. The five bedrooms, each with large, private ensuite baths, made it a great choice for couples. The villa allowed for privacy, as well as large common areas for everyone to gather. We enjoyed the pool, beach, and snorkling right outside the back door at Smiths Reef. This is a great house for couples, families, extended families - really any large group. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of bath, beach towels. Everyone we dealt with at TC Villas was great and very responsive. Caicos Catering catered a number of our meals and were great to work with - it was fun to all be together at the large dining room table, or for lunch pool side. We also took a guided paddleboard tour with Doug Camozzi, of Paddleboard Provo and had a great time."

  • A great place to celebrate a special family occasion

"We are a family of 10 adults and 2 small children looking for a great way to create special memories. Since none of us had ever been to Belize, we didn't know the lay of the land or what to expect. German and Edgar met us at the ferry and from that point on, they helped us to line up everything we needed to make our stay a complete success. The villa was perfect for our needs to allow us to cook during the day and go out for dinner at night. With the village being so close we had fun driving the golf cart to shop, eat, and hang out. Yet we were far enough away to have peace and privacy. Everyone is friendly and you never had to worry about safety. The weather is perfect in mid-January, the villa is great for a large group, and the staff is better than you would ever hope for. The fishing was excellent, cave-tubing, zip lining, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming with sharks and sting rays....we did it all! There was something for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for making our trip a success! Loved it!"
