  • Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!!

"This villa is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect vacation; it's private, quiet, great beds, well stocked kitchen, private pool, beach towels and chairs and the best view you will find from both the inside and outside. It is close to Red Hook and everything you may want to see and/or do. The outdoor area with the deck, pool, bar and grill are perfect for having relaxing days. We spent several days just lounging around on the deck; grilling, swimming and watching the boats go by. We had 2 couples and my brother has stage 4 lung cancer and is on oxygen. Although there were a few stairs getting down to the villa, he didn't really have trouble and was able to enjoy the deck and outdoor space. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and loungers to use, along with an outdoor dining set. The owners were quick to respond to our inquiries and were extremely helpful. Due to weather delays, our flight arrived about 10:30 pm instead of 2:00 pm. Although good directions were provided, given the late hour and long day we had, we had trouble finding the villa and had to call the owners for help. Although it was after midnight and I hated to call them that late, they answered the phone quickly and happily helped us. I can't imagine finding a better place on the island to spend your vacation. It was perfect!!"

  • View the Blue - Great quick get away

"We rented the house from 08/17-22 for a quick getaway. Just like previous reviewers, we really enjoyed it being our first time to Belize. We were a little worried about the weather but it turned out great. Here's the pros and cons about the house: Pros: roomy, good enough for 12 people. great ocean front view, private, reasonable price. You gotta go with the Suya tour. Carlos and his crew provides a very personal service and willing to work with you to make you happy. Victor, Ana's property assistant is very professional and courteous. George, the taxi driver is very helpful too. Cons: downstair cooktop and refrigerator is not working (Victor, Ana's assistant said he'll fix it the next day but never did) but not a big deal since we can use the upstairs one. The outdoor floodlight did not work but we manage to fix it ourselves. Pool light didn't work. We told the care taker the next day but he doesn't seem to speak english. The pool has several nice coconut trees to provide shade and add a nice touch to the pool. However, it also blocks the oceanfront view. Therefore you can't enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the second floor balcony. There are a lot of mosquitoes even though we brought repellent. It would be nice if caretaker can spray them (we saw the foggy smoke repellent tool in the utility room). It would be nice if we can use the two old bikes in the utility room. There's no hammocks as stated in the description. It would be wonderful if the local phone call is included. Here's what we would recommend for first time renters: - First day, get a golf cart to explore the town. - 2nd day: go on fishing/snorkeling with Suya tour (we caught quite a bit of fishes and lobsters for dinner) - The cave tubing/zip line is so so. The cave tubing is a little disappointed since we didn't get to do anything. The tour guy just pulled us through the whole time. The kids enjoy the zipline more. - Fishing trip if you love fishing. Carlos will take you to his secret fishing places :) Despite a few little things about the place, we did have a wonderful time. We definitely come back here again and recommend it to everyone."

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"We stayed at Villa Eau Claire with our 3 kids ages 10, 12 and 14. We had a wonderful time checking out the wildlife around the property: lizards, iguanas, pelicans diving for fish, schools of small fish being chased by larger fish, sea turtles, etc. All of which were visible from the balcony overlooking the wonderful blue Magen's Bay. No need for a pool because the water at the beach is perfect for swimming, wading, floating and snorkeling. We walked to Magen's bay beach in the water and it was a fun adventure where we rented paddle boards for the kids. We took the ferry to St. John one day, went out on a fishing boat another day, rented snorkels at a dive shop and checked out Koki beach and Linquist beach for amazing snorkeling adventures. Lots of fun for the kids and plenty to do while also very relaxing for the adults. No matter what we did, it was such a treat to come back to the beautiful Villa Eau Claire! We relaxed on the deck and had cocktails on the beach and ate dinner each night on the balcony with the lights twinkling on the mountain across the bay and enjoyed checking out the different ships that would anchor there at night. The property was incredible! We would open all the doors and feel the sea breezes, the views were like a dream, beds very comfortable (an air mattress was provided for our third child.) Julia gave us a great welcome at the airport, took us to the grocery store and got us settled upon arrival. She was cheerful and helpful during our stay. There were fresh flowers in a vase to welcome us to the beautiful home. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful visit! Thank you!"

  • San Clemente CA

"Our group was two families of four sharing the home. Renting the home was easy as Don was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and after the house was booked, even helped us with arranging golf carts, etc..., before arrival. We rented a boat which we were able to keep at the private dock for Conched Out,which was super convenient. When we weren't out on the boat for day trips exploring secluded beaches and snorkeling, we spent lots of time swimming and hanging out on the dock. There is even a little snorkeling nearby, and Spotted Rays and even the odd turtle made regular passes in the calm late mornings. Both the pool deck and the dock were great places to spend the late afternoons and enjoy sunsets. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, and the caretakers Sherman and Wilma took good care of us when we arrived. We didn't really need much help during our stay since the house was pretty self sufficient and easy to figure out. We loved the home and hope to return soon."
